Meat Lovers was absolutely amazing, Chicken Bacon was good but, too salty, Wings were cooked well done (they way we like it) but, the spice level wasn't there, Bread Sticks w/ marinara was so good. Service~Owner was very polite and, helped explain the menu. She made sure we had water (glass bottles) with cups, napkins, plates, and silverware. Grabbed a Vegan Kale Blazer. Za was solid from the amount veggies to the sauce and crispy crust. I think if they used fresh hot peppers over pickled it would make this Za the complete package. Za took about 15-20min around lunch time. Great to see nutritional yeast in a shaker too as an addition. Salad jerks!! Generous portion, they delivered the extra cesar dressing but it was mostly veins and where are the croutons??!! We paid nine dollars to throw it out basically. Super disappointing. The pizza: 18 inch was fine. Wish it had a little more sauce. The 12 inch, loved the crisp in the crust and hiw airy the dough was but the pizza shifted during delivery. The slowest place i order a build your own pizza waited almost a hour I'll never come here again.

Stopped in on a Friday evening and ordered a margherita pizza for carry out. Took about 15-20 minutes, which was not unreasonable. The pizza itself was big NYC foldable slices with fresh mozzarella, nicely seasoned sauce and a crust that was of the perfect thickness. My only gripe was it was overdone--a bit too burnt for my taste. Otherwise, really good pizza and efficient service. (3.75 stars). read more

Another DAMN good pizza joint that also specializes in NYC style pizza! I love the fact that I can walk from my apartment over here when I get a pizza kick! It's a very popular place with university students when classes are going as well since it's so close to the campus. Service was nice and fast. NY style. Just the way I like it! Friendly folks as well! Also, this business is LGBTQ+ friendly. I like that. :) There's plenty of seating inside! They got tables and booths and even a little bar section looking out at the NS and A streetcar lines. It's also accessible via the MAX Green, Yellow, and Orange lines as well! Pizza is good n greasy. I came over here to pick up an order that I placed and paid for online with TooGoodToGo. The window was until 10:15 and I got there at 10:07 and although the open sign was still on, the lights were off, doors locked, no one home. I was able to request a refund through the app but it was frustrating to come over here for nothing. Adjust the pickup window to end sometime before everyone has left for the day. read more

The first time I tried Pizza Jerk I was waiting for the Max to come through the PSU Urban Center Max stop and it was cold and I wanted a bite and some shelter from the cold. I grabbed a quick slice of their vegan special thin crust and enjoyed it quite a bit. The person at the counter was very helpful and gave me a menu letting me know that the pricing might not be updated so that's the only negative feedback I really have. The inside is a simple look haven't really been since but it's just a chill pizza spot on campus. The real star for me of Pizza Jerk is their vegan pies! I'm not even vegan and they're my go-to. I love that they have thick crust pies, and the homemade cashew ricotta absolutely slays and I crave it so much now. I can't help but compare other shop's vegan 'za to their masterpiece pies. What a fun spot right on PSU campus to meet after work, classes or events around this area! They had a menu board by the ordering counter of the day's specials with very reasonable pricing and lots of dietary accommodation options. I went with the classic Margarita pizza (they did not skimp on the basil!) and my friend got the classic pepperoni slice, both went perfectly with our cold and refreshing beers. The pizza was yummy but overall average. They also had a good selection of beers on tap as well. Service was quick and friendly and plenty of solo, small, or bigger group seating. We sat at this cute little pink booth. They had board games and a Pac-Man game arcade too for your group to play while dining in. Portland is known for their pizza and I see it! I really enjoyed their "daily meat" pizza-- not sure what it is exactly, but their hot honey was top notch along with the jalapeños. . I don't typically like meat pizza either. I also had the margarita and "daily veggie" pizza. I enjoyed the loads of basil! I always look to pizza as not just a comfort food, but a standard for the local cuisine. I'm in Portland for my 12 yo's fencing tournament. We split a pepperoni pizza with his side adding bacon and mine adding kalamata olives. The place was fun and the service exceptional. We had a great meal. The sauce had a lot of flavor and seasoning. Firstly, the service is astounding... can always count on a smile from staff to warm up my day! It's a decent slice of za! I would come back and eat some more. The dough is not the sexiest looking but it tastes holds it's ground. Twice I have been here. It's been filthy dirty with tables dirty and garbage cans overflowing. Needs some attention to the facility!

We came here in a pinch and got an 18" thin crust with half pepperoni and half always sunny. The pepperoni are mini and not a lot of them on the pizza. THE FLAVOR of always sunny is good but the crust was so soggy and wet. I would not return here. With so many choices in portland. Make another choice. Unrelated to the food.
