I have been here twice now and I do like the New York style pizza served here. I like that like when in NY, you have the option to just get a slice. They also have sandwiches, salads, and other dishes. My first visit I got a slice. The next visit I came with a rather picky friend who has multiple food intolerances and likes what she likes. To start, we got the argula, beet and pistachio salad with vegan goat cheese. It was very lightly dressed.. The vegan goat cheese was made with coconut milk and was really good! A very generous portion, especially to share. We then ordered a large pie, half with just cheese, the other half eggplant. Delicious. Nice and thin very good tasting crust, undercarriage held up, and the pizza not at all oily or greasy. I had a freshly brewed ice tea which was great. Service was attentive, the place was clean and the restrooms were clean and well kept. The vibe is casual. I like the large windows throughout and the simple wooden tables. There is a large parking lot, although the place can and does get quite busy. My friend really liked it and I would recommend and will return.

My favorite pizza with no sauce.

A few months ago I started ordering from here AND THE LEVEL OF CUSTOMIZATION ON UBER EATS is PHENOMENAL. Absolutely new favorite pizza place. Accidentally just lied in my Uber Eats review since I said they didn't provide my side of hot oil, but I was pranked and it was in the package of the chicken Cesar sandwich. 10/10 recommend. (Only 1/3 times in which I ordered side of hot honey did the forget)

We were in Connecticut and happened to see this lovely pizza restaurant. We were not disappointed, on the contrary. We had a lovely lunch. My husband had the Eggplant Parm and loved the tasty tomato sauce, the very delicious melted cheese and eggplant on a great sesame baguette. The grandkids had a very copious personal pizza each. Cheese pizza with pepperoni and meat and the white pizza, they loved it. I had the copious Stromboli, full of various Italian cheeses, and lots of cold cuts, pipping hot, the tomato sauce was very sweet. We definitely recommend this place. Service was very professional and prompt. Prices are good. They have a lovely outdoor terrace

Perfect for sharing - Grilled lemon chicken sandwich on baked italian sesame baguette ($13)

Westport's Pizza Lyfe is way more than just pizza! Upscale Westport's newest entrant into its frou frou dining scene is the ultra casual, accessibly priced Pizza Lyfe pizzeria. The bustling patio and woodsy yet urban themed dining room is inviting and genuinely unpretentious - considering the ritzy and very picky customer profile that goes with the area. The service was exceptional and un-intrusive allowing for relaxed conversations on a dining room soundtrack of smooth multi-decade hits that ranged from A-ha and Sade to Rihanna, amongs many Lo-Fi dance twirlers during our lunch visit. We were dazzled by the first appetizer- which consisted of ten oven roasted chicken wings ($14); they came served in a simple yet elegant oval shaped dish with no shortage of freshly tossed roasted chopped garlic and parmesan. Next; the three piece Meatball ($12) was perfect for sharing and was equally impressive with its fresh and light tomato sauce base, parmesan and ricotta topping. For the mains, the grilled lemon chicken sandwich came on a large ten inch sesame baguette, cut in half making it completely shareable for the table. It was loaded with arugula, avocado, grilled red peppers and fresh mozzarella, all grilled to perfection ($13) #yummy! The traditional Greca salad bowl ($15) Was impressively fresh and appetizing to the eye - to which we added the house's signature lemon grilled chicken ($5). The salad was exceptional both for taste and portion size; Crisp romaine lettuce chunks, vividly red and fresh sliced Roma tomatoes, local cucumbers, red & green pepper and red onions; chopped green olives and - what Greek salad would be called Greca if it didn't have medium-hard, almost melt-in- your-mouth, cubed feta cheese that isn't too salty at all, just right? Yup exactly, it was that good!!!! The whole dish was absolutely refreshing and very filling as a main course. Finally, our table had the Caesar salad which didn't dissapoint with its crispy-fresh lettuce chunks, house-made garlic croutons and traditional Caesar dressing - and let's not forget the heaping mountain load of freshly shaved and grated Parmesan ($12). Today's lunch exceeded our expectations and this restaurant is definitely more than just pizza! Its diverse yet short menu is one we will be exploring on our many upcoming return visits when in the neighborhood; welcome to Westport, Pizza Lyfe!

Chopped sandwich on sesame hero. Yummy!

Pizza was soggy and uncooked. Ordered the wings and tasted so Aweful like it was leftovers a week old.

Skinny Pines aims to keep its pies as local as possible, buying all its produce and many of their key ingredients from farms in Connecticut and New York. In fact, Borofsky and his truck are headquartered in Easton, just less than five miles from Sport Hill Farm, where they are regular customers. The dough is made from hard red winter wheat, a 100% whole wheat grain milled to 00, sourced from Wild Hive Farm and Bakery in Clinton Corners, New York. The dough itself is treated to a 12-hour cold fermentation before it's left to rise for its weekly market appearance. This whole wheat dough is used on each and every Skinny Pines pie. The combination of finely ground 00 whole wheat flour and the wood-fired oven creates a light and airy crust, with just a hint of pleasant nuttiness. The Bianca is my recent pie pick, a white kalamata olive and rosemary pizza. Borofsky's toppings change seasonally, so check back often for his seasonal pie offerings and call ahead for their location. A locavore pizza truck with an eye for organic quality ingredients, don't miss Skinny Pines at the Westport Farmers' Markets!

We had an event planned yesterday, 5/6/21 for our employees; 55 people were expecting a pizza truck lunch. At 4:20pm the evening before the event, I received an email from Jeff saying he had 2 problems and would not be able to do the event. Zero notice and no other options. Just, sorry. Just thought you might want to know this because hiring a reliable caterer is typically the most important quality if you are hosting any kind of event. I do not recommend. Our recent family gathering at Via Sforza was like being transformed to our heritage in Italy…read more The service could not have been better. So courteous and accommodating to special requests. Several groups of bread, olive oil and olives placed on our large table were evenly distributed so there was not a lot of passing around. The salad was lightly dressed, flavorful and nicely complimented with thin slices of parmesean cheese. The food is as close to homemade as you can imagine. The eggplant parm was not heavy and delicious. The pasta primavera was a favorite among many. Lots of veggies with a delicate cream sauce. My sister and I had the Parpardelle. So delicious! Not a heavy meat sauce but rather small pieces of thin sausage complimented with hearty mushrooms and peas. The parpardelle was a wide very thin pasta making this dish extra delicious. We had our party of 13 guests in the rear private room which is behind a lovely iron gated archway The decor is so inviting. This was our second year having our gathering at via Sforza. Our plan had always been to have a different restaurant each year as in the past. However, everyone in attendance requested we not change the venue. It's been a wonderful find! Thank you Gianni for your attention to detail and making this event so special!

We had a 6:30PM Saturday reservation, and we sat in the outside portion of the restaurant; complete with roof, walls and a nice breeze. Menu is a lot of pasta, chicken, pizza, some apps, plus specials. We ordered fairly quickly. Clams Casino & Maldani Pizza for Apps. Risotto, Lasagna and 2 Pasta Dishes for mains. We noticed a band was tuning up, which I wasn't thrilled about. The apps arrived before the music started, and while the Pizza was pretty good, their version of Clams Casino was not. More like baked or stuffed clams with a huge chunk of bacon on top, that dominated the entire flavor of the clam. While waiting for about 40 minutes for the entree, the band kicked into high gear. What started off with some Italian Classics, quickly turned into a loud, bad wedding band. "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison, stopped all conversation at the table. All we could do was wait for dinner, and laugh at the ridiculousness. The Lasagna was good, but the rest of the meal was not. Linguini and Clams was way too salty, Risotto was dry and just not good. My Pappardelle il Forno was disappointing. Overcooked pasta, and a strange sauce for almost $30.00. The desserts were the star, coffee was good and our servers were nice. But a bill of about $300.00, {after tip and tax} is totally unjustifisble. Also, we noticed that during dinner, a breeze would bring the stench of either the dumpster or a dead animal on the property, to our noses. A perfect omen. This place needs to lose the band, fire the cooks, and revamp. It was pretty awful. Maybe at one time this place was really good, but that time has long passed....
