We got an Italian dogie, cheese pizza and a From the Farm pizza. All of them were good. We wanted to try the breakfast one for fun. Turns out eggs and cheese on a pizza works very well. ***Update $15 for a salad, the buffalo sauce is barely on the chicken. Seriously, how hard is it get the sauce all over the chicken!?! Happens every time we order this now. I've not had their pizza, but our office has ordered their wraps and salads more than once! The wraps are messy, so probably not best suited for work environment, however they have tons of veggies a fair amount of meat and the wraps themselves come in different flavors, Including a sun-dried tomato one seen in my pictures. They are a bit dry, but the meat is very moist and the veggies seem fresh. My coworker got a cheesesteak wrap and it looked delicious! The green peppers inside however seem to be blanched or raw, not grilled. Another coworker got the buffalo chicken salad, and It had tons of onions on it, large rings of red onion, just in case you're not a fan or red onion...and on top of that was a bunch of breaded chicken she said was delicious and had nice heat! read more

I'm surprised at the negative reviews! We have had good experiences with Pizza Mia- we love the Tuesday two for one deal they run! A great deal and we love having leftover pizza for the next day. Our favorite pizzas are the cheesesteak pizza (although it could use more salt and flavor on the meat) and Rustic Harvest. The pizza is not fancy but it's good and we like the crust. We've done both delivery and take out and have lot had any issues. read more

The only good thing about this place was the pleasant delivery guy. Now, off to the races with the awful service: I asked for no tomatoes, I got tomatoes. I asked for condiments (salt, pepper and ketchup), I got nothing. I asked for cutlery and napkins, can u guess?? Yup, I got nothing! Last but not least, I asked for fat free Italian and I get the opposite. Now, the dreadful food - the menu stated the salad was an iceberg/romaine combo. UM not (and the iceberg was brown)!! I wouldn't have fed that to an animal. There were about all of 5 pieces of chicken on the chicken cheesesteak wrap and go figure 2 of them were gristle. First time ever writing a Yelp review and I only did it because of how strongly I hate this place. They took 2 hours to deliver 2 wraps, some nachos, and a few fries. The wraps would've been mediocre if they hadn't costed $9! This isn't the worst of it though because we got about 20 cold and soggy steak fries for $6. The nachos were fairly standard for State College restaurants but were covered in soggy tomatoes. All in all the food tasted like it was cooked a few hours earlier. After waiting 2 hours for the food, I called up Pizza Mia only to be greeted with a drunk/high employee who was laughing with his friends and mumbled a few words before hanging up. This place is expensive, horrible food, and horrible service. Honestly, I don't know how this place stays in business. read more

I ordered from the Bellefonte Pizza Mia which I have done quite often in the past. My bill was $38.00 and some change. About an hour later I received notification that $53. Was withdrawn from my account. I called to question the difference and the person was rude and pretty much didn't think it was a big deal. Come to find out I ordered from something called Slice and they charged the extra fees. My problem is I knew nothing about this third party delivery. Nothing was explained that when you order online make sure you order from the pizza Mia site only. I won't have to worry about that because I will never order from here again. I am a firm believer in helping the ma and pop businesses but not when they don't care if you are getting ripped off! Look out for "slice " they're scamming your money! read more

We tried this restaurant based on a $5/pie special that they were running. If the purpose of the special was to drum up new business, it was a total failure. Here were the issues that we dealt with. 1. We ordered 2 pizzas for pick-up and were told that it would be 20 minutes. When I got there to pick up the order (about 20 minutes later), they said that my order would be out shortly. "Shortly" was about another 15 minutes later. In the meantime, my wife got multiple phone calls from their delivery guy trying to deliver the pizzas -- the same pizzas that we ordered for pick-up. I can understand this mistake, but NOT ONCE did anyone admit that they made a mistake and sent our pizzas out for delivery by accident. Instead, they just kept me waiting and waiting and waiting. 2. The order came to $10 (exactly) without tax and I was charged $11.49. I brought this to their attention, saying that PA sales tax is not 14.9%. The cashier just looked puzzled and did not offer me a refund. I then mentioned it to ANOTHER worker who admitted that I wasn't the first one to comment on the incorrect tax. Like the first worker, he never once offered to refund me the difference. All that he said is that he'd have to talk to the owners. Because the pizzas were dirt cheap and because I was anxious to get home, I didn't fight them on this. It is incredibly BAD customer service, however. 3. So what about the pizza itself? Slightly better than Little Caesar's, but not nearly as good as pizza available elsewhere in town. On top of that, the center of both pizzas didn't cook right -- too little sauce, perhaps? Bottom line: mediocre quality and terrible customer service. Was it worth $5/pizza? Sure. Heck, even Little Caesar's is worth $5/pizza. Was it worth the normal price of $10.99/pizza? Absolutely not. We waited for over an hour and half for soggy, cold food. The sandwiches had so much mayo and lettuce that the bread was completely soaked. The chicken on the sandwich tasted funky and barely had any on it. When you pay $5.49 for fries, they should be hot and crispy. The fries were not cooked and freezing cold. Do not order from here - awful! Overpriced and terrible food. read more

Gonna give this an honest 3/5. Great service. The staff was very nice and pizza was given to me in less than 15 minutes. The problem: The pizza was floppy even though the cheese was very burnt. In my opinion, it should have been cooked more. If you are intoxicated you won't even notice but the pizza probably isn't for everyone. Want to go back and try some of the other items on the menu. read more

By far the best calzone in State College! This place is an undiscovered gem in this town. The black and blue burger and meat ball sub are both drool worthy. You can tell it's still a new place and currently trying to grow, but it's definitely worth a try if you haven't had it yet. Highly recommend! read more
