Boltiful is offering fresh and healthy food for whenever you're looking for something filling but not heavy. They have bowl options that are pre-made as well as a build your own bowl options as well. Variety of different proteins, veggies, sides, and sauces so people with different dietary preferences can get whatever they'd like! The large bowl is a generous portion and I was able to split it in half to make two meals. Their sweet potato noodles taste similar to Korean glass noodles (japchae). I also got the lemongrass chicken and miso tofu as my main proteins. The lemongrass chicken was tender and had good flavor. The workers there let me know there was a fresh batch of tofu coming out in 5 minutes and asked if I'd like to wait for it. I love that they offered to give me the freshest option! The veggie sides are also well seasoned and cooked so you're not getting boring, bland veggies. I tried their creamy garlic sauce which adds a nice creaminess to the bowl. The workers are really friendly here. One of the workers had accidentally given me the wrong kind of chicken and she quickly noticed and offered to re-make my entire bowl. I told her I would take the bowl since I'm not picky with my food so that there's no food waste but she insisted that she make it correctly and quickly remade it for me. Very filling without feeling heavy. Glad there's a good healthy option around! read more

I had Boltiful Fresh Kitchen for the first time when this location was newly opened. I had the most amazing experience the first time and while I'm not quite sure why I didn't return, I was absolutely excited to have Boltiful for dinner after a hiatus. Our party of 3 came in and was immediately greeted. Because it had been a bit of time since my last visit, I appreciated the staff walking me through the process. 1) Choose a base for your bowl. Rice, salad mix, or sweet potato noodles. You are able to pick up to 2 options. 2) Choose a veggie. I believe regular bowls allow one option, large provides two. 3) Choose a protein. There is chicken, steak, tofu, shrimp, and salmon. An option of 2 choices for a large, 1 for a regular bowl. 4) Decide on your toppings. Toppings consist of corn, pickled onions, edamame, beans, tomatoes, + crunchy bits 5) Pick your poison when it comes to sauces + dressings. The food legit gets pretty pricey when you factor out the premium choices. Unfortunately for us, our family only liked the premium options. Additional sauces also come with an additional fee. Our bowls were plentiful but the food just didn't hit like it did during my very first visit. The biggest disappointment was the overcooked, mushy sweet potatoes noodles. I powered through my bowl but quickly began to feel extremely uncomfortable. Let me be clear in the fact that there was nothing wrong with the ingredients aside from the mushy noodles. There was just a lot going on in each of our bowls and the overly sweet teriyaki chicken, mush noodles, and compilation of textures just didn't do well with me. We had plenty of leftovers given the fact that we purchased 3 large bowls but that ended in the trash at the end of the night. 3 stars, I used to dream over Bolitful's bouncy, chewy, springy sweet potato noodles. I am now lowkey left with PTSD from the simple thought. I may or may not come back but if I do, I'll strictly stick to the salad mixes. read more

Got the shrimp and salmon bowl at Bowliful on Brokaw and it was sooo good Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the shrimp and salmon were both cooked perfectly. The portions were good and everything in the bowl went really well together. Service was quick and easy, and the place had a nice clean, casual vibe. We were trying to kill some time till our next appointment and wanted to eat something very light and healthy. That is a difficult task when surrounded by fried fast food. We spotted Boltiful Kitchen and popped in. I was sharing a meal with a vegetarian so we ordered the Lemon Chicken Salad and asked for the chicken on the side. The guy that was making it screwed it up and the manager came by and asked if I wanted it made over. I didn't want to waste food so I said it was okay and she immediately offered me a free drink and I never even complained in the first place. The food is super fresh and they have lots of options for toppings. What's great is it's not just raw ingredients. They have flavored, roasted, cooked additions that are really good. The foods is ok, just didn't like the way that you have to select your option from step 1 to step 4, then some dollar added on if you choose different option. It's end up quite pricey for my opinion. To be honest, I've had a handful of bad experiences with them in the past, such as inconsistent portion sizes and food quality. Sometimes the portion size is half of what I usually get. The food quality is hit or miss too -- you might get the driest chicken, hardest rice, or dirtiest lettuce. It's nothing like when they first opened. Today, I decided to try their beef barbacoa. It was NASTY. I literally couldn't eat it, and it was a premium protein that cost an extra $4. I don't mind paying extra for good food, but if there's an upcharge, I'd like it to be worth it. Safe to say, after all those bad experiences, I'm never coming back to support them or recommend them to anyone. read more

Fantastic place to get a bowl of mixed carbohydrates and vegetables. Service was quick, fast, and accommodating. Staff is always friendly and welcoming! Parking is tough during lunch hour since so many people come from work to grab lunch at one of the multiple restaurants in the plaza. There is a set menu available if you don't want to customize a bowl. My favorite here is the broccoli and mushrooms! The seasoned chicken is always tasty as well. There is plenty of seating even when lunch rush is going on. The tables and floor are always clean! Ventilation does need some work since the store will leave a lingering food smell on clothes. Tried a steak chimichurri bowl last week. I asked for a large bowl but I'm not sure if that's what I got, based on the price and number of vegetables/sauces in the bowl. Subbed out rice for noodles. It was a small piece of steak, maybe 2-3oz. And it looked a big overcooked Flavor wise everything was good. Id come back but the non-premium meats just do not sound appetizing to me. And paying $4 for the premium meats is steep. If I get a large, with two premium meats, is that like $27 for a bowl??? I'd probably feel comfortable paying $16 at most for a steak bowl. read more

I came here for the first time because I was excited to try a new bowl place. They definitely give you a nice portion for your food. However, the food didn't have a great flavor, my salmon tasted plain, the mushrooms were salty. Maybe I came on a bad day but I've seen so many great reviews and I didn't feel the same. It was a one and done for me. Maybe I enjoy poke bowls better, I am not sure, but I honestly felt for the price it would be a great value. It didn't really meet my expectations of a flavorful bowl. It was really plain, something I can cook at home. You can clearly see how big the mushrooms are it is not cut and it was big to put in your mouth to chew. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. But, if you like fast, simple, basic food then give it a try. If you're looking for something that is delicious, flavorful, and hits the spot, I def recommend you skip this joint. read more

This place is beautiful and clean inside, few tables inside and some customers too. There are so much healthy options and the so much proteins to choose from. They give you good portions and it is expensive but it is great quality of food! Staff are friendly and great with customer service! We will come back to try other options. read more

I thought I made a review for the first time I was here but I guess I didn't; anyway here's my long awaited review. first of all, great concept. I already love vegetables and they're even better when they're prepared correctly - Boltiful does just that. and did I mention they give free samples before you decide on your order? on proteins AND vegetables too :) so regular bowls and large bowls: main difference is how many sides and proteins you get to have - and the amount they give you? I always have 1/2 left of a regular to take home (and mind you, I'm a big eater). so do what you will with that information. it's basically a build your own style; again, free samples so you can taste what they have before ordering but I've had the chicken teriyaki and the premium chimichurri steak (both were delicious, however I might get the salmon or lemon chicken next time). the jasmine rice is fluffy and I believe is slightly seasoned (however, it might have just been soaking up all the flavors from the other components), and I highly recommend getting the sweet potato noodles as well. I lucked out last time I was here: the noodles were piping hot and fresh - if you like japchae vibes, you'll love these. there's some chilis in there but honestly they weren't spicy. I'm a sucker for brussels sprouts so I usually get these by default, but my friend sampled the garlic broccoli and she said it tasted how it sounds - which wasn't enough wow factor for me to stray away from the brussels. for a regular bowl you get up to 3 toppings: I decided on the pickled red onion, cilantro, and crispy noodles (honestly, I didn't want a third topping/the noodles, but it did give a nice crunch). and for sauce they offer to drizzle it on top or give you a small portion on the side - the garlic sauce is very good and I think tends to be their most popular of the choices. the picture doesn't really do it justice: I had 2 FULL meals from a regular with how much they stuffed this thing. I mean the scoop of brussels sprouts alone was basically the microwaveable-bag of brussels from Trader Joe's (not that I'm complaining, but I had a lot of food that day and the next!) I just wish I lived closer! I feel so healthy/good when I do eat here, but the plaza it's in is extremely crazy parking wise - so do be warned. went here around 5:40 pm with my girlfriend, place packed at all, plenty of parking since this is in a shopping plaza center, and there is a good amount of chairs and tables to sit & eat at, but not a lot. you can go ahead and make your own bowl, this place has nice fresh ingredients, there's plenty to choose from, it's exactly like an asian style chipotle which is awesome if you are looking for something different or want asian fusion of flavors. see the photos for a good amount of what we got, i got the salmon & my girlfriend got the lemon chicken which was super delicious and plentiful. they also have signature drinks which is on tap and im guessing you can get refills? i highly recommend if you want a great alternative to healthy bowls! read more

I tried Boltiful for the first time and was really impressed. I ordered the Spicy Thai Shrimp Bowl for pick-up, and even after my car ride home, everything was still super fresh. The vegetables were crisp and the shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It wasn't too spicy for me but there was a bit of a kick. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The food was prepared very quickly and server was friendly even though the interaction was brief. They ran out of eggs and she offered us another side of avocado instead. The owner also happened to be in the store and chatted with us a little bit, telling us some of his story. When I tasted the bowl it felt like a bunch of random stuff thrown together but did not go together. I think if I only got rice..chicken..shrimp..it would have been fine. Came here during their BOGO and it was starting to get hectic after 4pm. I would say that the service was questionable with it being their second year.. I got a large bowl of bases and was starting to move forward with getting my protein. I noticed that one of my bowls was somehow mixed up with the previous customers so I had to get an extra bowl for my original bowl that was given away. I think the music inside was kind of loud too unless it was just me, but I had to repeat myself a lot of the times to the employees more than once. I ate in the restaurant. I got their pesto and balsamic sauces I personally would not get their pesto sauce, but your miles may vary unless you try it. It had such a weird aftertaste to it but I was not sure if I was able to get another one or if I had to pay for a new sauce. No comments about the basalmic vinegar. The teriyaki chicken was good but I thought there was no flavor towards the lemon chicken. I did like how they used chicken thigh though. I did ask for a water cup but after paying, it wasn't given. The bowls are really fresh with a ton of options to customize exactly how you want. There's a good variety of different sauces that you can choose from. My personal favorite is the pesto herb. I've been looking for a healthy lunch spot and decided to try this place. It's like ordering a Poke bowl, but you get meat and salmon options balanced with veggies and healthy carbs. I went for the regular bowl by filling up these options: 1/2 spring mix- fresh and crisp 1/2 black rice- hint of sweet glutinous rice and soft to consume Roasted Potatoes- soft and a bit crisp on the skin Roasted Salmon ($4 extra)- to perfection; I didn't like the extra charge Pickled Red Onions- balance well Edamame ($1 extra)- just like a Japanese restaurant; extra charge fair enough Creamy Pesto- I thank the lady for pouring a generous amount all over my salmon because I devoured it in 20 minutes The service was fast and efficient, as you can see from the choices on the display. I've had this twice already and I loved it each time! I love the mix of Asian fusion ingredients in a bowl. This is my first time coming here and am quite amazed with how the place looks despite the size of it. There weren't many people here, but if that's the case, then they need to somehow expand it. You can either get a signature bowl or customize it. Even though that they have a chicken teriyaki bowl as a signature plate, I want to customize it by choosing that as my protein and the rest of the ingredients of my choice. From the fountain machine, I'm quite surprised that they have Thai tea as a dispenser. That's really unusual because that doesn't really happen in other businesses. The food is really delicious especially the chicken teriyaki and cilantro. I've always seen people adding cilantro on their plates in social media and so I decided to do it here.
