    Large Bowl #3
    Ter L.

I had Boltiful Fresh Kitchen for the first time when this location was newly opened. I had the most amazing experience the first time and while I'm not quite sure why I didn't return, I was absolutely excited to have Boltiful for dinner after a hiatus. Our party of 3 came in and was immediately greeted. Because it had been a bit of time since my last visit, I appreciated the staff walking me through the process. 1) Choose a base for your bowl. Rice, salad mix, or sweet potato noodles. You are able to pick up to 2 options. 2) Choose a veggie. I believe regular bowls allow one option, large provides two. 3) Choose a protein. There is chicken, steak, tofu, shrimp, and salmon. An option of 2 choices for a large, 1 for a regular bowl. 4) Decide on your toppings. Toppings consist of corn, pickled onions, edamame, beans, tomatoes, + crunchy bits 5) Pick your poison when it comes to sauces + dressings. The food legit gets pretty pricey when you factor out the premium choices. Unfortunately for us, our family only liked the premium options. Additional sauces also come with an additional fee. Our bowls were plentiful but the food just didn't hit like it did during my very first visit. The biggest disappointment was the overcooked, mushy sweet potatoes noodles. I powered through my bowl but quickly began to feel extremely uncomfortable. Let me be clear in the fact that there was nothing wrong with the ingredients aside from the mushy noodles. There was just a lot going on in each of our bowls and the overly sweet teriyaki chicken, mush noodles, and compilation of textures just didn't do well with me. We had plenty of leftovers given the fact that we purchased 3 large bowls but that ended in the trash at the end of the night. 3 stars, I used to dream over Bolitful's bouncy, chewy, springy sweet potato noodles. I am now lowkey left with PTSD from the simple thought. I may or may not come back but if I do, I'll strictly stick to the salad mixes.

Boltiful straight fire. Staff is always friendly. I eat here weekly and take all my clients here for lunch. Every item is a hit. Bob is an amazing owner. This place is going far.

Fresh and healthy food, great selection and friendly staff. Good location with lots of parking. I had the garden salad, I paired it with Thai sauce and pesto and lot of edamame for ~$12, which is a good deal. Will visit again to try other items.

Got the shrimp and salmon bowl at Bowliful on Brokaw and it was sooo good Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the shrimp and salmon were both cooked perfectly. The portions were good and everything in the bowl went really well together. Service was quick and easy, and the place had a nice clean, casual vibe. Definitely a solid spot when you want something filling but still fresh. I'd 100% get the shrimp and salmon again. 10/10!

Always a good idea to have another healthy option in the community! Overall, it was good (highly recommend the creamy garlic sauce). I think the options for vegetarians were surprisingly limited. My only feedback is I think the menu should either offer more sides rather than 2 base, or the protein section should have more than just tofu. & Add something that offers a bit more fun/variety without a premium cost; plain tomatoes rather than chimichurri would have been fine.

We were trying to kill some time till our next appointment and wanted to eat something very light and healthy. That is a difficult task when surrounded by fried fast food. We spotted Boltiful Kitchen and popped in. I was sharing a meal with a vegetarian so we ordered the Lemon Chicken Salad and asked for the chicken on the side. The guy that was making it screwed it up and the manager came by and asked if I wanted it made over. I didn't want to waste food so I said it was okay and she immediately offered me a free drink and I never even complained in the first place. The food is super fresh and they have lots of options for toppings. What's great is it's not just raw ingredients. They have flavored, roasted, cooked additions that are really good. I was also happy to see they had Thai tea.

This was about this BOGO deal.....my brother was telling me about it sooo he got me one and I was craving for the steak bowl. The bowl came with greens on the bottom and on the sides with rice, potatoes and the chimichurri sauce, the steak was cooked great imo, and chimichurri on steak is just hella good. Additional chimichurri sauce came with the bowl which I added more.

    Sarah C.

My sister got us both the steak bowls during their 2 year anniversary deal! (BOGO). Their sauces are so good, I can't tell if the white sauce is a ranch mix with yogurt? The chimmichurri sauce was amazing. For the bowl itself, I wish I could sub 1 scoop of rice with more potatoes, maybe next time. Everything I ate felt like I was eating healthier and clean. Steak was perfection too!

The service is good since they're not that busy at the time I went. The foods is ok, just didn't like the way that you have to select your option from step 1 to step 4, then some dollar added on if you choose different option. It's end up quite pricey for my opinion. It's ok if you're a foodie and want to try new things. But regularly customer, I don't think so.

Been coming here a handful of times throughout the years and the food is always consistent, inside is always clean, and the staff are friendly.

I've been supporting them since they opened because I've always loved supporting local businesses and liked their concept. However, today was my last straw. To be honest, I've had a handful of bad experiences with them in the past, such as inconsistent portion sizes and food quality. Sometimes the portion size is half of what I usually get. The food quality is hit or miss too -- you might get the driest chicken, hardest rice, or dirtiest lettuce. It's nothing like when they first opened. Today, I decided to try their beef barbacoa. It was NASTY. I literally couldn't eat it, and it was a premium protein that cost an extra $4. I don't mind paying extra for good food, but if there's an upcharge, I'd like it to be worth it. Safe to say, after all those bad experiences, I'm never coming back to support them or recommend them to anyone.

Solid option for a quick, healthy meal. The portions are generous for the price, especially when it comes to the base and protein. I really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and the mushrooms. They were definitely the highlight of my bowl. That said, I didn't feel like all the base and topping combinations worked well together. The bases themselves were a bit dry, and the sauce options were just okay, not bad, but nothing I'd go out of my way for. It was also a little frustrating that some of the better toppings (like tomatoes and edamame) cost extra. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're in the area and want something on the healthier side, but it didn't really stand out as anything special.

Fantastic place to get a bowl of mixed carbohydrates and vegetables. Service was quick, fast, and accommodating. Staff is always friendly and welcoming! Parking is tough during lunch hour since so many people come from work to grab lunch at one of the multiple restaurants in the plaza. There is a set menu available if you don't want to customize a bowl. My favorite here is the broccoli and mushrooms! The seasoned chicken is always tasty as well. There is plenty of seating even when lunch rush is going on. The tables and floor are always clean! Ventilation does need some work since the store will leave a lingering food smell on clothes. I'm glad to see they're successful enough to open a second location. It is well deserved!

The kitchen is open and you can appreciate the chefs working on their open wood fired grills and pizza ovens, which imparts a faint, woody, aromatic fragrance in the restaurant. The staff is polite and courteous. They left a signed note on the table for my husband's birthday which was a sweet gesture. For the drinks, we started with the jean claude pandan, pandan being the my husband's current favorite ingredient in food and drinks. I had the drink with dill, which the server warned me about being centered around the flavor of pickles (which I am personally fond of). The pandan drink was a light and refreshing highball and I found the dill cocktail to be creamy and delicious, but didn't really leave me with a sour aftertaste. For food, we went with the drip trio platter which came with fresh pita bread pieces, and the drip trio of hummus with roe on top, chilled tzatziki, and muhammara. Then we moved on to the oysters which were fresh, will a dressing of an herb oil of some sort. They also had a complementary palette cleanser in between which was a shot of watermelon and orange juice. For maincourse, my husband went for the tagliatelle and I chose the ravioli, both choices were corroborated by our server to be the right ones to go for. The tagliatelle is expensive because of the lobster and caviar that it comes with. However, the pasta is delicious and comes in a decadent sauce. Not a lot of lobster pieces though. The ravioli had a robust mushroom flavor and came with a light sauce of mushrooms, crispy fried shallots, and pine nuts. We skipped dessert because we were pretty full already. Would definitely recommend this place for a cozy dinner out but it's quite expensive so might not be a place to go to frequently.

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

That's blatant racism, and it happened while I was a paying customer. Staff did nothing to address it in the moment. Understandably upset and shaken, I had too much to drink afterward. My family came and drove me home safely. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. We should expect better than this. Avoid this place if you don't want to find out how they'll treat you when something like this happens to you.

From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. Big space & good service. Food was also pretty good. -…read moredrinks: our drinks were good, not amazing. - tuna tar tar: good, pretty standard or rather basic. - gnocchi: great favor with truffle nose. Alton much sauce for my liking but enjoyed it. Gnocchi was soft & yummy. - Brussels sprouts: very flavorful. Came in a watery sauce which made me skeptical first but really enjoyed it. - shrimps with garlic sauce: shrimps were cooked well & sauce was good. Overall it was fine.

All the staff we met were really good. So, goes without saying I feel bad leaving this review, but I rely on Yelp for recommendations, so I have to. The food was genuinely bad. We ordered French onion soup which arrived lukewarm. The croutons inside were hard. Not crunchy, just stale tasting and hard. I took one bite and realized the cheese on top was actually cold and not melted either. I went back in for onions but got another rock hard cruton. Set it aside to be sent back. The Brussel sprouts were good. No complaints. Steak tartare was bathed in some sort of ketchup-tasting sauce that completely overpowered the other flavors. We ate most of it because we were hungry but I wouldn't recommend it. We ended up canceling our entrees and left. The manager was apologetic and again- I genuinely feel terrible leaving this review. That said, there are so many really good places nearby that it would be unfair for me to sweep this awful food experience under the rug.
