If you're looking for some pizza that's quick, good, and reasonably priced with good service then this is a good spot to stop. Coming into the restaurant I was greeted immediately by and he was patient and helped me find something good for me to order. Place was clean, friendly service, cool and had a nice "pizza joint" vibe too it. Too say the least it was cozy. Pizza was okay. It was definitely good but it wasn't anything remarkable. A good tasting pizza with okay structure, a tad bit too greasy for my liking. The dough, sauce, meat, and cheese were all good. Either not cooked long enough or too much cheese I'm not sure. A solid 6/10 overall. Pictured are the interior and a pizza slice about 5 minutes after coming out of the oven. We were in the area and wanted to grab something quick for dinner. We ordered their #1 slide special which is 2 slices of pizza side salad and a drink. We ordered a pepperoni and a mushroom and pepperoni. We paid and waited a good 25 minutes or so for our order. The guy that took our order was friendly and I believe by himself preparing our order and another who were waiting. The salad was fresh and basic. Just iceberg with some cucumber, cheese and croutons that were soggy. Nothing special. The pizza looked amazing but was sooo soggy. The crust I was expecting a crunch but it flopped around like a fish out of water. The taste was okay and the kids polished it off but just wasn't anything special. Maybe it was an off night and probably would be best eaten there in the restaurant and not to go. I'm sure it'll be better when it doesn't need to travel in a styrofoam container home. We might pop back in during Glendale Glitters it next time we are around to check it out. read more

Some of these reviews had me pretty leery, but I'm for an underdog and even more for local so I took my chances. I was already on the area with one of my kids supporting another spot nearby and decided to search for a pizza by the slice spot and hoped I could find one nearby because pizza is a fave in our house. We had parked nearby so we decided to walk over when we saw this was close to where we were. The front door of Pizza Roma faces Glendale, but there street parking nearby as well as a parking garage and lots behind the location of you walk up the alley way behind them. Other reviews stated the service was less than stellar, but the moment we opened the door we were greeted, my questions answered and I was able to order a two slice pepperoni combo and a drink, added a second drink, plus six hot wings. The employee asked if I was ok with waiting about ten or so minutes for the wings since they would take about that long. Of course we were fine with that. We were given drinks and decided to take advantage of the nice weather on the patio. There is a good amount of seating inside, but a bit dark and definitely needs updates. This is located in Old Town Glendale so you'll see that a lot around this area. I didn't inspect the inside a lot or the restrooms so I can't speak on that. The outside patio is nice, quite a few tables and a mural to enjoy. The sun does come in a bit, but there's also a good amount of shade because it sits between two buildings. Our pizza slices came out pretty quick. First impression was I could tell the crust was crispy which I like, slices large, good amount of toppings, but insanely greasy. That is not a deal breaker for me as you can dab off the grease etc. we topped with some red peppers and dug in. First bite was hot, crispy and I pretty good flavor. I enjoyed it. I don't typically order by the slice at many places because it tends to be dry and you usually see it sitting under heat lamps. Not here though. I'd eat it again. Our wings came out around the estimated time and weren't overly sauced and pretty good size. They were pretty hot seasoning wise like we'd asked, but not unbearable. For the price of it all I'd definitely eat it again. Again I can't attest to bad service, what the restrooms looked like or inside seating. Our experience here was great. read more

Colby greeted us when we arrived and gave excellent customer service with food suggestions, and offering to store our Cerreta chocolates while we ate (it was over 120° outside). The restaurant felt like an old style pizza parlor, ordering at the counter and self seating. Came because the German restaurant didn't open until 4pm. Best...decision...ever! Even though the inside is small, the Greek pizza we had was huge on flavor. I have been a customer of this place for many years. I absolutely love their pizza and their wings are to die for! The atmosphere is casual and friendly and I love the location in old Downtown Glendale. It's a tradition for us to go there every Christmas during the opening night of Glendale Glitters. While visiting Glendale Glitters my family decided on pizza for dinner. My husband used to work in Glendale and suggested this place so we gave it a try. Immediately upon entrance we noticed the two cashiers with no mask and less than 3ft apart as well as worker behind them making pizza in oven, worker serving the pizza and two additional workers in the back with NO MASK. The only one we seen wearing a mask was a young kid cleaning tables outside. The front entrance area is pretty small and not an issue but since there was two taking orders (w/out mask) the least they could do is only take one order at a time to reduce congestion. When the second cashier asked if she could help me a said "I'll wait till this family is done ordering so there's more room". We even noticed that the workers walked out orders to customers in outside eating area without mask on. I completely understand COVID fatigue, I'm so over this which is why my family decided to go out and partake in some outdoor Christmas festivities BUT it was completely disappointed to see how many people were not wearing mask let alone those operating a Buisness. First let me say the don't have coke products was about to say no to my boyfriend because of it but so glad I didn't. Pizza was amazing we had the large pepperoni. It was fresh out of the oven and it was absolutely one of the best pizzas I have ever had. We also tired the mozzarella sticks and wings because we like to try it all lol. The wings were very good if you like them hot go with the hot if not I would recommend the medium. The mozzarella sticks were delicious!! Seriously a great place to eat.
