I go here about monthly now that I tried them. They've remodeled or expanded their physical location over the years. I tend to order through Slice and just come to pick up my food while my dog waits in the car. The food is always ready on time so I can be in and out quick. I think I ordered to go and waited once. Lucky's pizza has been around for a long time and we were hungry and close by. We decided to get 2 lunch specials with 2 slices of pizza, 6 wings and a drink along with a slice of cheesecake. Inside is clean with plenty of tables and the customer service was so friendly and welcoming! The pizza slices are huge! The bottom has a nice crisp crust and plenty of toppings. Flavor was great. The wings were got were honey bbq and lemon pepper. They had plenty of meat, flavor was great and they were crispy!! They were excellent wings. This place is pretty close to my house. Never been here before but I was curious. I ordered for pickup, staff was friendly. When I came in to pick it up at 1, it was all ready to go. In and out in less than 5 min. Perf. The place looked pretty laid back, people were in there when I went to pick it up and they seemed happy too. If I remember correctly they had A's from the health department which is literally always a good sign. Now the food. I got an XL meat lover pizza. The crust had a nice chew to it, it wasn't as flavorful as some of the pizza I've eaten but still pretty good. There was a good amount of toppings and the ratio of sauce to cheese was to my liking. The toppings were good, tasted like they were of good quality. Wings: I ordered 20 medium wings. I probably could have gone spicier bc the med was pretty mild imo. However, the wings were nicely cooked, not dried out and not underdone. It looks like they make their own ranch (some places use the hidden valley ranch dressing and I hate that). If I could give 4.5 stars I would. The pizza and wings are among my top 3 favorite as a whole. They are original yet what you'd expect of NY style pizza. Yes it's greasy but come on...it's pizza! The wings are fabulous I would say among my top 2 fav wings of anywhere! This should be your go to for football game days and ordering pizza with friends or fellow football fans! Their dining is just ok. But they have tVs and sports playing and it's a nice little strip mall pizza stop. The only 2 cons I have are small. Service is fine, but they can be a bit harsh if they feel offended as private owners who run the store. And of course as with most of this style of pizza place, it's a bit pricey. read more

Sept 2022 UPDATE: Still 5 stars & I felt the need to add bc I used Lucky's for catering a special event. Owners Benny & Ike were kind enough to sit with me in advance & help me choose a menu that met our needs. On the day of our event, their food undoubtedly STOLE the show. Chicken parmigiana with spaghetti- absolute perfection, so mouthwatering. Their antipasto salad was overly generous with plenty of delicious cold cuts. Their garlic knots went really fast and truly are something to write home about. So many guests asked where the food came from. I must add that their food portions are more than plentiful so you're definitely getting a deal with their already reasonable prices. I'm a loyal customer for as long as they're around. I've been staying in Arizona for a few months and while here I've frequented Lucky's pizza. Firstly, the food is fantastic. Pizza is always perfectly cooked. The calzone is very good (and huge). Second, the prices are less than most places and the quality of food is better superior. Third, the staff reminds me of mom and pops pizza joints growing-up where they remember your name and your order (even if it's been weeks since you've been in). It was like pizza and a Philly cheese steak had a baby, and that baby got all it's parent's best attributes. Cheese steak pizza was a hit with the whole family. I am a sucker for fresh broccoli on pizza. Seeing a broccoli pizza on the menu made me super excited. Unfortunately, the broccoli was frozen. Frozen broccoli just doesn't have the same taste or texture. Not liking one pizza topping isn't working removing stars. Crust had the same great chew. Dollops of ricotta stayed nice and creamy. Fantastic little pizza place! Came here to celebrate with the family. When we arrived it was 8 something PM and the restaurant was empty. There's booths and tables where you can sit and we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. It might be more of a carryout style place to most, but eating here is nice too. While we waited we watched football on the tvs, they had several. We ordered a pizza, wings, and two calzones. The wings were fantastic. We got the hot ones, which weren't hot at all but did taste good, and the garlic parmesan ones, which were also really good. As far as the pizza it's pretty authentic to the east coast stuff. The dough is so good. We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and it was the absolute best we've had in years. The last time we had a buffalo chicken pizza this good was in Philly. We absolutely loved it. The calzones were huge and had to be boxed to take home. According to my family members, they were quite tasty.
