The photos don't do it justice on how amazing Chezzys is. Service was amazing early arrival full set up and clean up. The pizzas were so delicious everyone is still raving about them. Great customer service will definitely use them again

Pizza chef was so friendly. We chatted while he made pizzas. He did not stop moving. Each of the pizzas looked flavorful. Crust had a little bit more crunch than I like, but the flavor was there. I would definitely stop in again to try more combinations they have on the menu.

TL;DR: Waited 1.5 hours (double the estimated time) for 2 pizzas that weren't even started. Denied a refund despite others getting one. Horrible management, customer service, and time estimation. On 5/16/2024, Cheezy's was at Simple Machine Brewery. I ordered two pizzas and was told it would take 40-45 minutes. A long wait, but manageable for my family of four (my wife and our two young daughters). After waiting an hour and a half--double the initial estimate--we decided we would have to leave if the pizzas hadn't yet been started yet as it was getting late for the kids. My friend, who ordered after us and received a similar time estimate, also needed to leave. We both asked for refunds since our pizzas weren't even started yet. My friend received a refund after a few minutes. However, when I politely asked for mine, explaining the unexpected extended wait time, the head 'chef' refused, saying, "No more refunds today; it takes too much time to process them." Excuse me? I'm usually very understanding, but waiting 1.5 hours for a 40-minute pizza without any explanation is unacceptable. I wasn't asking for a free meal, just a refund for food that hadn't even been made. There were two people working, one mainly making the pizzas and another taking orders/packing up the pizzas - one could have processed the refund. Ironically, they had sold out of pizzas by then and could have easily sold mine to someone else. The excuses given were unacceptable: "We had the whole bar order before you." Fine, but you should provide accurate wait times. If you have 12 pizzas ahead and they take 10 minutes each, give a 120-minute estimate. That way someone can make an informed decision if they want to continue with the order. I don't blame you for being busy; I blame you for poor time estimation. The cynical view of this is they way under-estimate the time to get more orders vs if they gave the real time then more people would walk away. "In a real restaurant, you can't just ask for a refund after ordering." Actually, real restaurants do offer refunds if there are significant delays or issues. I support small businesses and understand that things can go wrong. Had I received a refund, I wouldn't be writing this review. The refusal and poor treatment by the staff are why I'm sharing my experience. I will never order from Cheezy's again and suggest other businesses looking to have Cheezy's at their event think twice if this is how they treat their customers.

Had an excellent pizza from these guys. Thin, crisp, chewy, savory. I hope they come back another time!

The food paired well with the fine beers inside. The service was quick and efficient. Would def eat here again if they return.

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.

World-class pizza in AZ!…read more I have traveled the world and had many Pizzas, and this is hands-down one of the best pizza places I've ever experienced. Tucked away in the Westgate Mall, it's a compact, modern little spot that likely gets buzzing during the lunch hour. The service is excellent--you just order at the counter and they bring the pizza out to you. If you're in the area, do not pass this up. We'll absolutely be returning on our next trip to Arizona!
