This place has expanded at some point over the last few years, and it's just not the same. Sure, there are more tables, decent restrooms, and actual servers, but the "on the run" part doesn't really apply anymore. There is no longer a counter where you can grab a quick slice to go - you actually have to sit down and place an order. The pizza is good and the service is [fairly] fast, so I can't complain too much. If you're in River Run village and in need of some 'za, this is the place to go. read more

Really tasty pizza. They don't skimp on the toppings, but it's also put together so you can appreciate all the flavors. Great tomato sauce base, fresh herbs and veggies, tasty meats. Terrible. Simply terrible. The wait time to get our meal after we ordered it was AT LEAST an hour. Our waitress claimed that it was because of the food item that we ordered. Food options should not be on the menu if they take that long to be prepared. To make matters worse, the waitress rolled her eyes and started crying when we confronted them for the long wait time, which is completely immature. She claimed she was "doing her best", but any GOOD waitress would at least offer a free appetizer. When our food finally came, it was not the same quality as the price suggested. We came in and ordered large pizza the night before plus two kids pizzas. We had boxed half the large pizza and half the kids pizza in the to go box. Between taking kids to bathroom and it being closing time we forgot the box with all our speciality pizza at the restaurant. We came back in the morning and asked for our box. And they threw our pizza away. So we asked if they could at least do two slices so we could have it for lunch. He said "no but you can buy one it just takes 10 min". As a business owner myself I go above and beyond to have a happy client as this was not a unreasonable request. I would have said I am so sorry we threw your boxed pizza away but let me make you those two slices it will just take 10 min..he would have a happy client. Now I am upset, I spent money on three pizzas and got horrible service. We are home owners in the same building where the pizza place is and we order every single time we are here which is every weekend during skiing season. We take our friends there as well. We love to do local and support local companies when ever possible. Now because of the service we won't be back. It would only have costed them cents to make those two slices. Although pizza is good. This place had very good pizza it had lots of flavor and the crust was excellent. We got half margarita pizza and half bacon and jalapeño and they were both delicious. We also started with some jalapeño poppers they were not your regular poppers but they were still very good and not too spicy. I suggest getting a cup of ranch or other sauce to dip the crust in because the crust is very good but it's dry so in the ranch it's delicious. My family of 5 was refused seating (with 3 empty tables in plain view) because I ordered a small pizza to go 20 minutes earlier as an appetizer for my children who I didn't want to wait the normal 45 mins) thinking I would show up with them and have something to eat as we ordered our dinner The dirty hippy looking person looked at his watch and said, sorry we have to save seating for our dining customers. This place has the worst customer service and sub standard pizza in summit county. Do not waste your money hear, the food is the lowest quality and the service is insulting.They offered no explanation or alternative, no wonder both neighboring businesses did not recommend them. The service is not very good. It was me and my husband and our two babies in high chairs on our ticket. Also my husbands brother on his own ticket, all he ordered was one slice. All we ordered was a 16' pizza and garlic bread for the app. I got a bottled root beer and everyone else got water. We did not get any refills. The place wasn't even busy yet. We were charged extra for a topping we were told we could exchange for. When we finally got our ticket we were also charged 7.35 for gratuity. They added a $9 gratuity to my pickup pizza when I specifically signed with a $0 gratuity because we ordered a large and medium pizza to go for $44.89. When I called, the girl who answered the phone said that a few people have been calling in about that. Watch your statements for additional $$ added to your transactions! As a note, when I called to have them fix it (twice - because they didn't call me back the first time, she told me to just call the police.. instead of taking the 5 minutes it would have taken to fix the charge. Note that they were already rude when I asked if my teenage kids could eat in the restaurant that was empty on a Friday evening and they said since it was a takeout pizza order they couldn't (not that big of a deal, but still).... When we asked to switch tables, they offered us the 2nd worst place to sit in the place. The service here is incredibly slow. My family loves pizza, so we've eaten here three nights this week. Tonight's service is typical and we won't be coming back. We got here at 4:45 to beat the crowd and got seated just after 5p. It took another 20 minutes before they took our drink and food order. Yum yum yum!! Great quick pizza spot. I was here by myself and sat at the bar with the bartender Genesis (I believe). She was GREAT!! Friendly spot for families, singles and couples. Good beverage selection...Adult options, that is! I had the 8" margarita pizza and added meatball...DELICIOUS!! I had an ale that Genesis recommended and was pleased as well. A few small TVs but nothing you'd want to watch a BIG game on. Pricing was reasonable and as expected. Barstools were uncomfortable but they did have hooks for your bag under the bar. I would've given -5 stars if possible! My family and I were at a juvenile arthritis conference for the 4th of July weekend and had about an hour to kill before the next meeting. The kids wanted pizza and this place was at the resort where we were staying. The first clue that we should've left was that the mother and child in front of us who were also attending the conference left when they were waiting to be seated and the "hosts" didn't even acknowledge them! So we waited almost FIVE minutes before the host seated us. THEN we waited another 20 minutes without even asking if we wanted drinks! It took almost 30 minutes and this was after I had went to my room to get something and returned; my wife had to "chase" down the inattentive and inept waiter/host to ask when we would EVEN get drinks let alone place our order?! By the time I returned I HAD to go out to the patio to find this airhead and ask if we were even going to get drinks? He apologized and tried to justify the lame service by saying "we had to make more vinaigrette for the salad" that my wife had ordered with our meal while I went to our room. So another 10 minutes passed and by now our table was "volcanic." I kept my cool as "conditions allowed" considering my kids were with me and starving but this was ridiculous! So, he finally shows up with just MY order and disappears back into the ether attending to some imaginary guests outside on the patio. Still no salad and no drinks mind you; So at this point the pizza shows up and the drinks, but the WRONG salad! So the idiot decides to offer to "comp" the salad to which we didn't want it regardless: needless to say I took the comp and just paid for the pizza and sodas. It's bad enough it's legal to blaze up "legally" in Colorado but what's worse when you have employees that probably blaze up before, after, and probably on their goddamned lunch breaks and return to work in a "purple haze" and provide shitty to NO SERVICE is ridiculous. A 4/20 state sounded novel at first but seeing service like this in which I/We have NEVER experienced before in any state is atrocious! I know it's "off season" in the mountains but WTF? Wouldn't it make sense to provide better service to what little customers you attract? The idiot even had the nerve to tell my wife that it was "packed today" there was hardly anyone there?
