Great bar Banter from Hailey et Al. Good music, excellent happy hour special. As always I sat at the bar, and received Best Service. Food, especially the Green Chili Fries, were heavenly and during Happy hour -$3 off the normally outrageous price!

Good spot, in the heart of Dillion. The burgers are massive, wings are solid and nice beer selection.

    Burnt steak sub

My husband and I decided to do takeout from pugs. We are locals-live here. I got a steak sub with beer cheese & salad. Salad is ok, but the steak sub is so overcooked it's actually burnt. Husband said they weren't busy so there's no excuse. The beer cheese has the consistency of water. Horrible! I work at a restaurant and I can't imagine my place sending food out like this. Will not eat at pugs again. Had the same thing last time too. Thought I'd give it another chance and I got burned again.

We have been coming to Keystone for over 20 years and Pug Ryan's has always been a staple. Today, very disappointing. Very very rundown there were 2 to 4 patrons in the restaurant. Normally the outside is flooding with people and dogs. The grass was dead. The wood deck was chipped. The lady at the entrance did not smile or welcome us, gave us a nasty look, did not say hi, or, have a good day or anything. I will never go back.

    Meatball sub. $20.

Mind you this is not a full review of coming in and enjoying dinner. I simply picked up a meatball sub to go and brought it back to my hotel room to eat. The sandwich pictured looks far better than it actually was. Meatballs were overcooked, and the flavor bland. For a $20 price tag your better off heading to the Subway sandwich shop for much higher quality at half the price. This place seems more like a local watering hole then catering to the tourist. Like I said, this was an in and out kind of experience. Should have gone to Scrappy's next door to my hotel.

Cool vibe! Parking was easy, friendly hostess. We got the Sheppard's Pie and it was perfect for a cool day.

    Pug Ryan's Dunkel beer!
    Alden C.

If memory serves I was at Pug Ryans many years ago but getting an updated experience of their beer I felt was necessary. For Pug Ryans Steve and I both had their version of the Dunkel beer. Not a bad dark lager at all. Flavorful and fun to drink my first impression also says that this is a very popular beer with customers!

Their no alcohol cocktails are just as thoughtful, balanced, and well presented as their alcoholic ones, which made the experience feel intentional instead of like an afterthought. I tried several drinks, including their no alcohol Mai Tai, Painkiller, and a few tropical forward options, and every single one was well balanced and flavorful. Nothing felt overly sweet or flat. The Anchored Tides in particular stood out with a bold, bitter profile that still felt refreshing. The food was also solid. The spam musubi and wings were both really well done and paired nicely with the drinks. The space is fun, vibey, and welcoming, especially if you're not drinking and still want to feel included. This is a great spot whether you're doing Dry January or just want a well crafted drink without alcohol. I'll definitely be back.

Both my girlfriend and I asked him multiple times to stop, but he continued anyway. After it became clear that he wasn't going to respect our boundaries, I raised my voice (not yelling, just firm) and asked that he stop serving us and that another bartender take over due to his aggressive and inappropriate sexual behavior. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he immediately told both of us to leave the bar. This was an incredibly uncomfortable situation to deal with, especially on New Year's Eve, and it left us feeling embarrassed and disrespected. The first thing my girlfriend said to me the next morning was how uncomfortable that bartender had made her feel, which says a lot. I truly wish we had never gone to this bar. No one should feel pressured, sexualized, or thrown out for speaking up when their boundaries are repeatedly ignored.

If you're lucky enough to go in May you'll experience Mai Tai. Every couple of days in May a different Mai Tai is created by a staff member. There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.
