Go for happy hour! Fun atmosphere, good food (artichoke hearts, mushrooms, onion rings all good!). 1/2 price beer. People having fun!

I love how one side of the restaurant is super nice for a date night and the other side is more chill vibes with the bar. Getting seated right away wasn't an issue and our server, although in training, did an amazing job! As for the food, the wings were SO GOOD 9/10, however the main courses fell short. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and the chicken was too charred for my liking, also some of the noodles were a bit dry 7/10. My boyfriend ordered a steak and said it was also too charred for his liking. I ordered the Cosmo and yikes it was so strong that I had to switch it out for the Chocolate Velvet which was much better 8/10. Honestly overall I was a little disappointed with the food especially for the price. Not worth it in my opinion.

This saloon and steakhouse has the best of both worlds. The steakhouse has an upscale fine dining atmosphere and the saloon is very rustic/casual vibe! The service is top notch. No water glass goes empty nor is a plate left for even 30 seconds after finishing. The waiter was wonderful and the food was fantastic. We loved the fresh baked bread and honey butter too. The saloon should start a butter processing business as there was no shortage of their delicious butter on the table.

We dined here while in town for our ski vacation. This place has been around for quite some time and years ago it was much better than now. We agree the place has gone down hill considerably. While our waitress was attentive and kept us up to date on the status of our lengthy wait for food, we were mostly disappointed. The good stuff- Friendly waitstaff and the bread and butter were delicious. Incredibly attentive refilling drinks. The T-bone steak was flavorful and very good. The not so good- The onion rings seemed overcooked and greasier than typical onion rings. The filet that was ordered with a lobster tail was overcooked and the lobster tail was rubbery. The other filet was so undercooked, it was basically raw inside of the exterior char. We aren't sure what happened that delayed our food so long. We were a party of 4 and the much larger parties that came in after us ate before us. Tired of waiting, we ordered dessert to go. The slices of cheesecake were much smaller than what we've received at other places. It was good, not great. Not sure we will be back next time we are in town. Average food, resort town prices.

Me and my husband consider ourselves foodies and enjoy good restaurants. We have had a lot of good restaurants through the years and we truly cannot understand why this restaurant has anything less than 4.5 stars. If you're coming into this place thinking it's going to be Perry's or a city steakhouse then you're crazy. If you want that, you are more than welcome to go to Vail or back to Denver. We are in the middle of the Rockies, and this place has been around since 1975. This place is authentic, a hole in the wall and a staple of the Rockies. My parents have been eating the pork chops here since the late 90's. All this being said, we loved the ambiance. An authentic saloon with a steakhouse, Awesome. We had the Prime rib, Alaskan king crab, Pork chops, and cheesecake. Everything was exceptional. We loved every bit of it and especially the house potato casserole. These were all things that our most amazing server Natelle pointed out. Can you honestly really judge a place if you don't go with server/ local recommendations? Love this place so much and will be back one day soon.

Limited food options around the area and it has been there a long time but for the price you pay it's slightly underwhelming.

There is ample free parking all around this upscale dining spot, nestled among great business buildings, boutique stores, and stylish eateries. The entire area feels safe, inviting, and framed by gorgeous Mountain View's. What's more: This chic bistro/pure-kitchen concept offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is phenomenal, and the variety of vegan options is a highlight. We ordered the Mediterranean Bowl, Pure Thai Bowl, and Summit Stir Fry Bowl, and we were very happy eaters. Their food bowls and tableware looked stylish, clean, and gorgeous, making the meal a treat to look at and to enjoy. Adding to the charm, we were especially lucky to have Ms. Lora as our server. She checked in on us periodically, made sure everything was perfect, and even offered to take pictures of us, what a kind gesture! Prices felt appropriate for the quality and freshness, and our food arrived in a timely manner. Overall, this restaurant is a gem, and we will certainly be back whenever we drive through this gorgeous mountain resort town.

I needed some vegetables in my diet, badly. Pure Kitchen popped up as a place to satisfy that…read morerequirement. The SO and I both chose vegetarian options. I ordered the Korean Zoodle Bowl with a tofu add-on. It was a bit sweet, but the mild spice helped to counteract this. The large variety of vegetables in it satisfied my closet vegan. The tofu had a very pleasing crispyness when it first arrived. I told the SO, "Quick, try the tofu!", when she got her bowl. The SO ordered the Summit Stir Fry with a tofu add-on. She enjoyed it, but thought it was a little on the sweet side. I thought it was a lot on sweet side. I made my bowl not seem so sweet after all, which I took as a plus. Overall the food taste and quality was good and the service was friendly. I will base my rating on that. I do have one comment not having to do with the food or service. Stop reading here if you don't care. Pure Kitchen has a 4% "Competitive Wage Compensation" charge. I was surprised to see this charge on the bill and only later saw that it was in the fine print on the menu, with an "opt out" option (what brave soul is going to "opt out" and risk spittle in their food). Maybe it's my fault for not looking at the fine print on menu, but it's a food menu, not a used car contract. Just my personal opinion, but I believe if a restaurant wants to have "fair wages" for their employees, it is their responsibility, not mine. Raise food prices, lower profit margin, whatever, but please don't add another tax. It just doesn't seem right. I have never once complained about high food prices in any of my reviews because it is my choice to go out to eat. I could eat at home if I want to keep within my monthly budget. I have avoided going to other restaurants based solely on this type of "fair wages" charge and will likely not come here again for the same reason (no matter how badly I want to try their Lamb Burger). I am really VERY SORRY for getting on my soapbox. I don't typically rant, but there are certain things that I believe should be addressed. I'm probably not the only person who feels this way.

Food here is A+, also the service, and ambience is on point…read more I appreciate the great service from Rick, our server. He recommended a real banger for a beverage in the Brewmaster's Stash, also the brewery mustard for my burger. I'd recommend this location to my friends and family. Enjoy!

I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience was terrible…read more I ordered mac and cheese with chili and pork, and what came out looked like plain microwaveable Kraft mac and cheese. There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.
