Pizza by the slice with average service. We would recommend going somewhere else for pizza. We arrived starving to the Keystone Resort area from a white water rafting trip. We knew we were going to eat dinner somewhere close and pizza sounded perfect. We were immediately seated. We ordered drinks, different pizza slices and garlic toast with and without cheese. Everything was served quickly and hot. The food was average. It wasn't anything fabulous but also not bad. We certainly all ate our food. Our service was disappointing. One slice servings are two slices which is good to know for families. Another thing to note is, when eating in Keystone Resort, you will be charged an additional tax above what the normal tax rate. Everytime I have walked by the pizza place, On The Run, I have said to my wife, Oooh laaa laa. She always makes me keep on walking. Finally on our way out on Martin Luther King Jr. day, she said, let us get a pizza. My dream come true!!! Well, we tried it. I tried it, then she tried it. Craig is the general manager and excellent host. We loved the food and the atmosphere so much that we returned again during our 6-day vacation. The salads were fresh and generous. My favorite pizza was the margarita - flavorful homemade garlic sauce was delicious. My friends loved their Last Chance pizza, and they enjoyed the ravioli and cheesy garlic bread on our next visit. Gram, the bartender, makes fabulous margaritas, by the way. We watched the ball games - and hung around to play a couple of our own board games on a rainy afternoon. We will return! read more

We had to come in to order for carry out (phone not working and with how busy it was--you could see why). It was 45 minutes, so we walked around and did some shopping while we waited. This place had wicked good pizza. The only problem was it took a long time to come out. After a long morning of skiing all I want is to grab a quick slice/full pizza, eat it, then get back on the slopes. This place was pretty empty, but the pizza took a WHILE to come out. Again, when we got the pizza, it was hot and delicious! Additionally, we sat outside, where our server was pretty slow, and was not concerned with checking on tables or getting people their drinks/food quickly. My wife liked her gluten free pizza and the meat lovers made the kids and I happy. After we ordered, they immediately kicked us outside in the blistering cold even though there were 2 empty tables that were 6 feet apart socially distanced! We asked why we couldn't sit there and the unintelligent power hungry hostess said we can't sit down after ordering was because they had reservations already coming in. There was literally no one there. After waiting 10 mins in the -20 degree weather after paying for food and drinks, no one came for their reservations and they still wouldn't sit us. The staff is absolutely terrible, the food is decent, but if I were you, go to any other restaurant than this one. You don't want to give a dollar to these schmucks. read more

Update: Changing my rating to 4 stars because the manager contacted me with a friendly message and corrected the issue with our tips from the most recent experience. The Good: Decent pizza spot to go for a late lunch after skiing. The pizza is good in terms of taste and value. The service is okay but slow. The Bad: If you're paying via credit card, beware that this place has a tendency to alter the tip amount on CC receipts (usually by $3-$5 depending on your order amount). And this isn't due to large party size (generally it's been 1 or 2 people on a check). On multiple occasions, my tip or the tips my friends left were altered, which we later discovered looking at our bank statements. And it's not like we left bad tips-- they've always been 15%-20%. This issue has happened multiple times and after it happened again yesterday (2/25/18) we decided to call the place and inquire about what's going on with the tips. The manager Maddie explained that people's cards get charged extra and then the amount corrects after a few days of pending in your bank account. Not only does this not make sense, it's not true. The charges stay as they are, altered tip amounts and all. Disappointing response from a manager who clearly doesn't care about her employees stealing. This is a shady way to do business in my opinion. Take away: Only pay in cash or take a picture of your CC receipt if you don't want your money stolen. read more

The 3 of us were seated at a table that could hold 8. We received our food and waited for our drinks for 20 minutes... then never received our check. my husband and son went back up the mountain since it was 2:30 pm and they were tired of waiting. I said I would wait to pay, and moved to a smaller table on the patio, to be courteous so others could sit at our large table. The tall female server (Ellen) with the brown hair came over and was super rude when I tried to tell her we hadn't paid our bill and she spouted off "well when you're moving all over." I was like what??? We could have totally walked out on our tab. We didn't see a sever for 30 minutes! So, I ordered wine from her and she she brought me my wine and told me "his emergency, is not my emergency" (referring to her fellow server) whhhhhhhaaaaatttt!!!! I thought you all worked for Pizza on the Run! You should represent where you work. I didn't realize they were all entrepreneurs and just out for themselves ‍ p.s. it's been 45 minutes and I still don't have the check for our food. Pizza on the Run wants to put a 45 minute limit on tables, but you can't even get a check in 45 minutes!!!!
