so today i called pizza one in order to redeem there offer to credit me a calamari because last time i was very unhappy with the way it came it was very soggy and gross. but when i called in and explained to them that I was unhappy last time and the manager posted a reply on yelp stating he would give me a credit they refused to stand behind there word and give me my credit. Their reason was that too much time had passed between the last time i called and now. even after i explained to them that there was no exp. date on the message. I was hoping to be able to leave a good follow up message about Pizza one but instead I have to leave this negitive message , that not only was i very unhappy with the Calamar at pizza one but they refused to stand behind there word. Please read the entire yelp message and you will see what kinda people they are, my taste is my opinion and I could be wrong but when you offer a customer a credit for food in writing on a well respected website then you refuse to honor that, thats not only unethical but a bold face lie! read more

Ok so I normally don't leave reviews but how many times can I enjoy an amazing meal, helpful staff, and quick delivery and not give a pat on the back. We've been ordering from the Haskell location for quite a while now and every time I think it can't get better it does. The vodka sauce is amazing, I've had it on pizza, pasta and today on a chicken parm sandwich. I always start with a salad that is very fresh and tonight finished with cannoli that would give my grandmother a run for her money. ( I hope she doesn't know how to use the internet). I recommend this place to many people in the area and all my friends always thank me, they all love the extensive menu. Wow I have never had worst service or food this place is complete trash!!! I called to place an order and spoke to tony he was so rude and seemed very smug! almost to the point of making fun of me because i wanted to ask a few questions about the dish i was going to order. then once i got my pizza and sandwich it was awful the pizza box was crushed and the pizza was all on the top of the box and my sandwich was ice cold in the middle. I would not let my worst enemy eat this trash! they should be ashamed of themselves. if you are in the area and looking for a good pizza place look somewhere else! i have ordered from AJ pizza and skyline pizza and have found them 1000x better and they wont make you feel like you are bothering them if you ask questions about the food you want to order read more

Pizza 1 is a superb place to eat! I eat there a good amount of the time, and I have to say that their food is well worth it. They have some of the best pizza around, and provide many different types of slices. I myself am a big fan of the BBQ chicken slices. Pizza 1 also has great, well put together sandwiches. I had a chicken parm sub from them not to long ago, and it was overflowing with a gratuitous helping of meat and cheese, more than worth the price! Aside from the food, the staff strive to make a comfortable, friendly atmosphere for patrons. The delivery drivers always show up swiftly, under the amount of time you would expect them to show up! Torn between two and three, but it's not that there is something wrong with the pizza I had here, it's more of a lack of something being right. I had about 4 slices, to be a fair judge, of each the garden pizza and the plain cheese. The flavor was okay on both, but it wasn't very complex on the garden. But that isn't a huge deal; my big issue was the overall structural integrity and crust. You can't pickup the garden pizza without it falling apart because the crust is so flaccid. If you're looking for mediocre pizza and Italian dishes coming from a restaurant ran by shitty management, then this is the place for you! I have never seen such a disorganized establishment! Staff is treated horribly, the place is ran horribly, and that just shows why the food is horrible! Never returning here again! Pizza 1 is the best pizza in the area by far. I have never been disappointed by their food. Their pizza, pastas, sandwiches, and appetizers are all delicious! Their chicken penne vodka is my absolute favorite. I have recently moved out of the area, but every time I come back to visit, I have to order enough to take home with me. I have been ordering food from Pizza One since it opened. It is definitely the best pizza place in the area. They also have other types of food and sandwiches on the menu that are also the best around. They are always accommodating . I have ordered catering from them on an hour's notice and they have always come through. We order at least once or twice per week and have never had a disappointing meal. Love this place! read more
