My wife and I stopped here at about 7:30 on a Thursday evening. We were both fairly hungry and had never tried this place so... boom,. We were seated quickly and Anthony, our server, stopped by right away with menus, a bottle of water and glasses, and a tray of bread, olive oil, olives, and cheese. We hoovered up everything that he'd brought to us- the bread was fantastic. I mean- wow.... seriously good bread! We both ordered a pasta dish, I got linguine with bolognese sauce, my wife ordered a seafood penne dish. She had originally opted for the lobster mac and cheese- but they were sold out... :-( Being from Queens and transplanted to NJ as a kid, I'm very pasta savvy. The linguine was perfectly cooked- just a little bite. The Bolognese sauce was also on-point. So many NJ pizzerias think that mashing up a meatball and adding it to a ladle of sauce is ok.... This was the real deal. Both plates had huge portions, as well. We were both slightly disappointed- no bread, no spoon, no cheese. Anthony made his way back to the table and rectified those issues. Pizza One was an INCREDIBLE visit. The restaurant is nicely decorated, there are options to either place an order for take-out or enjoy a meal in their indoor/ seating areas. The ambiance was very relaxed and the service was quick and helpful. Our order were specialty slices of chicken/shredded spinach/cheese/balsamic glaze and a Chicken Francaise slice. Both slices were DELICIOUS, at the perfect temperature, and the slices were large. The chicken slice had a crunchy underside and I haven't had too many pizza slices this good. Enjoyed a nice lunch here. We sat in one of the booths which was very roomy & enjoyed some bread that came with a delish dipping oil, some cheese, & chopped olives. Recently went to this pizzeria and went back today for a second run and i Work in manhattan, and I have eaten in many places , but this pizza is the best I have had outside of New York, and Is on so many levels compatible to the city if not better! The crust is outrageous and the sauce is perfect. The toppings are never ending and sooo many different types. the staff is unbelievably friendly and the prices cannot be beaten anywhere else. Used to be our go to pizza place in Sparta but here is a good example of why we go other places now. We thought we would give it another try since we haven't been back in a while. We ordered the kids chicken bites and fries. The chicken bites are literally 4 very small pieces of Popcorn Chicken and a handful of french fries. I can honestly say the food is decent but I was so put off by the service recently.. I live in Vernon and about once a week me and my BF get salads from here .. I made some adjustments to the salads which they make easy on the site and there have been some issues in the past. which I have never called to complain but this time they missed a big change so I called to let them know about the mistake. I have eaten here so many times and this place is bomb. As a Sparta local I have probably eaten here over 50 times. There burger and fries is extremely good and needs some praise. If you looking for a quick delivery or takeout this is the place to go. Although if you are going to eat here with your family at a nice restaurant not the place to go as the inside isn't really nice but is nice. So dissatisfied and disappointed in the business. My family, friends, and I all spend and frequent this location often. We will no longer be back. We drove 40 minutes to this location to get dinner and 40 minutes back. Only to find out we received the wrong pizza. When I called the location to explain what happened I asked if they could take my name down for a future pizza to be remade or even a discount on the next purchase if they couldn't accommodate a full replacement pizza. They told me to send an email and they could not help me unless I drove a whole 80 more minutes round trip the same rainy night of 12/9/24. I sent an email and didn't get a response until I made a review on Google where the business owner is lying saying I asked for credit back. I never asked for credit I asked for a singular vodka pizza for a future date because our pizza was wrong. I guess spending 1000s of dollars a year at this location means nothing to them it's not worth it for them to remake a pizza. Not to mention our garlic knots and onion rings were also super burnt! Wow. I was not expecting such amazing service from what I thought was a typical pizza shop! I love the vibe and overall dining experience in the restaurant. The complimentary bread platter was so delicious, and the options are endless. Our waitress was also amazing! Calamari was deliciously crispy with a perfect amount of tentacle pieces. The drunken grandma slice was simple and sweet. The lobster bisque was deliciously creamy. My family and I eat here often, and lately the service has gone down hill. We went for dinner last night, it took 15 minutes for someone to come take a drink order, luckily we knew what we wanted, and ordered when the drinks finally came out after another 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes for salad, then another for dinners. No one came back to check if we wanted more to drink. The place was clean, the music a decent level, but they did have some bulbs out in their chandeliers. Everyone's food was decent, my complaint was my soup was really thick and salty. We have been to Pizza One twice now since their grand opening this summer in Sparta. Both times we have ordered pizzas (plain and mushroom) and garlic knots. The pizza is fantastic and has now become one of our go-to's for take out. The garlic knots are a great appetizer and served with a delicious marinara sauce. They do now have some seating outside right in front. Thank you again, Pizza One, for making my fiancé's birthday night with another awesome mushroom pie. Was expecting run-of-the-mill pizza that is standard of pizza joints in Sparta, but you can tell Pizza One is higher quality than anywhere else here, with fast - and hot - delivery and reasonable prices. So glad they're in the neighborhood. First we ordered one of their specialty pies (vodka sauce and fresh mozz) .... YUM. Perfect toppings and crust. Also tried a cauliflower crust pizza and it was (surprisingly) SO good - give it a chance!! A rarity in Sparta. It was so legit that we ordered again and then got the Rodeo Burger, philly cheese steak egg rolls AND Nutella bites for dessert. I really wanted to like these place because it is a convenient location but both times I have gone I have had issues. Service has been slow both times with just one server working 6+ tables but I won't fault them for that because I know there is a nationwide staffing shortage. I had a discrepancy in my bill last time where the menu price for the calamari was a few dollars more on my bill than the menu. When I raised this concern I was told that they were in the process of updating their menu. Had I not pressed the issue more I don't think they would have adjusted my bill. My latest visit the bathroom was not operational. I had to take my 4 year old to the Shoprite. They will need to improve their operations before I return. read more

Very good customer service. If your address doesn't come up online call as long as you're under 8 miles and they'll deliver. Vodka pizza was very good. Cheese slid a little during delivery but that happens. Still tasted yummy which is what matters. Rice balls were good but the mini cheesesteak egg rolls were the bomb. If I could give negative stars I would..... We got there last night @ approx 6:30. We were seated right away & ordered right away. We sat for over 20 minutes before our bread finally came. It was another 25 minutes until our food came!!! Our waitress was constantly saying how busy they were & our food was almost ready for about 15 minutes.... We watched several other tables get their food that came in after us! It is obvious that she forgot to put our order in!!! Pizza One is notoriously slow but this was beyond ridiculous! Our food finally arrived approx 45 minutes after we ordered!!! I ordered the special which was Veal Saltimbocca. It was soooo overly salty that I could not eat it & I love salt... Completely aggravated I sent it back with the hopes they would get it right. What came out 20 minutes later was something I didn't recognize....it was not Saltimbocca. I took a bite as I was starving & it didn't appear to be cooked or something was off. At that point I was done. My husband had already finished his meal which was just ok, he had the veal parm. I just walked out to avoid screaming because my blood was boiling!!! The service was horrible, we were lied to & the food was disgusting.... Came to get a quick bite, they gave me a water jug that i didnt realize was full of food particles until after i had already drank some, the did give us free bottled water after. Watched a delivery driver drop a 2L soda then roll it across the floor, catch it with her foot by stepping on it then proceed to put it back in the fridge without even wiping it down. On top of this, food was subpar and I probably wont be back. If you have ANY Italian heritage, dont disgrace your ancestors by eating here. The pizza is JUST okay. Service is good and beginning bread, olive, and cheese board was a welcoming touch. High ceilings with black/copper decor is upscale. Reasonable prices also make it easy on your wallet. read more

The food isn't horrible, but most of the staff is completely incompetent. The menu is loaded with incorrect grammar like apostrophes all over the place where they don't belong. This evening we ordered pasta with vodka sauce in which you can choose your pasta, and we chose cavatelli, as that was an option- but it appears we got capellini/angel hair. The girl who took my order over the phone had zero clue about the food she was working with, calling "sopressata" "sa-presto" which is unfortunate, since it could be so easily fixed with a few minutes of training. Their weekly specials are never updated on their online menu, co you can't view or order them online, and unless you subscribe to their email and call in, you'll never get to try them. Unfortunately, the pizza is probably the worst thing on the menu, very inconsistent. Most of the issues boil down to poor management. I don't blame the employees for their lack of knowledge, I blame the establishment for not training them appropriately.
