Every single person was REALLY nice-so service couldn't have been better! The pizza was HUGE & piled extremely high with everything my father asked, so totally worth the money. Ordered catering and received exceptional service with more than enough food to feed a large crowd. The penne vodka was my favorite dish but the other food was also delicious. They delivered the food right on time and their delivery driver was very helpful in setting up all the trays. I've also ordered from Pizza One for regular meals and have enjoyed every experience. First off I am a big fan of the Haskell location and today I tried the on in Wayne. The food was good can't really complain. Fries are awesome. Just my chicken on the Caesar pizza had a ton of cartilage, so who ever does prep doesn't know how to properly clean chicken. But the uncleanliness of this place was surprising due to the large staff behind the counter and owner sitting amongst all the dirty tables. I cleaned the table off myself. I know this is a pizzeria and this is common(crumbs on the table) but EVERY single table had something on it, crumb, sauce, lettuce, etc. the sauces i were given were so sticky and some looked dirty..I didn't even want to use them. If they stepped up the cleaning I would give 5 stars. read more

We ordered a pizza with a few toppings and a couple apps that cost $40. There must have been a hefty delivery charge we weren't advised about when we ordered. They didn't give us the order total when we put in our order, so didn't question it at that time. In our opinion, the pizza has no flavor and was so small and thin overall that it seemed like a big waste of money. The crust was like cardboard, the sauce was minimal and had to have been from a jar, and the cheese was lacking both taste and volume. There was not enough substance to fill us both up. Normally when we order from other places, there are plenty of leftovers, but not from here, notta. We forgot that we ordered from here before and had the same response as last time, hence felt the need to post a review. I was surprised to see a rather high review for this place. Wonder if they are all genuine because I just cannot understand it. I cannot be the only one thinking this. Sorry, but this is my genuine opinion of the food I ordered. Went for pizza because it was recommended to me by another person who has Celiac disease. It means I have to eat Gluten Free. Happened to be watching how they made it and discovered they REALLY DO NOT understand what G/F means. They used the same sauce and ladle as for all their pizzas. When I brought this to their attention, I was told, "this is how we always do it." They were perplexed as to what to do when the owner asked what the problem was. I explained and he ordered another pie with a clean ladle and sauce. So I watched from a distance and the pie was prepped by the same person making all the other pies, with his hands from the regular dough. This is cross-contamination! I did eat that pizza and am paying the price today. My advice if you have Celiac disease, don't eat where they think it's a fad. Ask if they understand what the fuss is all about. Sometimes you love it sometimes you hate it. It's worth the risk, but you never know what it's gonna be, pizza throw in the box; all cheeze and sauce and crust all over the box, like the delivery kid drove too fast or they threw it in the box in a rush. To begin with the food and customer service was great, today was the first time I actually went inside the store and waited for my order and what really turned me off was every worker handling food was not wearing gloves! I noticed the servsafe certificate on the wall and I absolutely could not believe my eyes when I saw one worker dip his bare hands in the marinara sauce to put on the dough (unacceptable) the supervisors/managers should strongly enforce proper glove usage when dealing with food because there are a lot of germaphobes who would not want to come back or eat after seeing that. There are a ton of pizza joints in Wayne. Pizza 1 is one of the few that I go to. All of their food is consistently above average. My favorite specialty slices is the penne vodka. The location is smaller with maybe 8 tables for dining in. They have a HUGE menu with pretty much everything you can imagine. read more

Gave this place a try with its 4 stars from Yelp and I agree with the others! The pizza was delicious, sweet mussels were sweet and curly fries were curly. We can taste the freshness of the mozzarella cheese on the pizza. Lost a star due to the service. We were there for a sit down and we ended up bringing the food/water to our table. I refuse to come back here. Called in an order with a coupon. The order was for 3 large pies with various toppings, asked the gentleman on the phone if the coupon was good to use on my order; he confirmed. Show up to pay, grab the pies, and get back home to watch the game only to find that they botched 1 of the pies. Instead of remedying the situation the counter staff placed the 2 correct pies on top of the oven to stay warm (re: die slowly) while they took their sweet time to make a new one. At this point the game is going to start and I want to get the hell out of here. The new pie's done and I go to pay with my coupon. 3 pizzas cost $50 after the coupon? Didn't seem right so I asked the counter girl, she stated that the person who took my order over the phone was wrong so I paid and left and Pizza1 has lost what could have been a regular...I'm sure the pizzas wouldve been great fresh out of the oven but unfortunately the service left a worse taste in my mouth. read more

We've been going to Pizzalicious for over 2 years now and I have to say that we've been happy with every meal or pizza we get from there. We've even had them cater a few parties and they've done a great job. Everyone complemented us on the food and I'm like - I didn't cook it! We know of other pizza places in Wayne that are just plain awful and we wonder how they stay in business when they're are really good places like Pizzalicious around. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Plus people are very friendly too which is nice. read more

Order form here often. The burgers aren't bad, but they aren't good either.This is a pizza place after all. I'll stick to the pizza,calzones, and apps. My one major complaint is the orders coming wrong. Twice I asked for no red onions and twice I get the red onions. Not a small amount it's like a whole onion. We've eaten at the Pizza One location in Ringwood several times and decided to try the new location in Wayne last night. What a mistake. Apparently they don't have plates because they served us an antipasto in a plastic to-go container and paper plates. When they brought out our meal, they were in the foil to-go containers along with paper plates. How are you supposed to eat a chicken parm dinner with spaghetti on a paper plate? We decided to take our dinners home so we could have actual plates and silverware. The food was definitely not as good as the Ringwood location either. I already have my go-to place for pizza, so I had no interest in ordering pizza here. I did however, order, for the first-time, Chicken Francaise. Being ditched on a Sat. night by my teenage kids, I thought Italian and movie with my 2 dogs was a great way to spend the evening. I ordered online, which is very convenient. With no minimum required, there was no problem delivering the small order to my home. The Chicken was sliced thin, the way it should be and the sauce for Francaise was delicious. Just the right amount of lemon without it being overbearing. I came with two very large (but thin) chicken breasts, a side of pasta with marinara and some bread. The pasta was cooked perfectly considering it was put into a container and delivered. Not mushy at all. Still had a little bite to it. I could have done without the marinara because the sauce with the chicken tasted great on the pasta. My girls have eaten here before and have raved about sadwiches, mussels, chicken parm and other pasta dishes. They, like some of the other poster were not crazy about the pizza. Will def order again for taste and convenience with the whole family. read more

Had my first order at Pizzalicious and that will be my last order. Not at all what I expected after reading reviews. The calzone was burnt and eggplant parmesan dinner had a minimal amount of eggplant but plenty of ziti. The dinner was really baked ziti sprinkled with eggplant. Never going back. read more

One thing I can't deny is that this place has great food. My family and I would order from them at least once (possibly twice) a week. Guaranteed though, they mess up at least one part to your order. Last night, when we picked up our order and brought it home we ended up with fried pickles instead of mozzarella sticks and a white wrap instead of a whole wheat wrap. No biggy, we called back to ask them to correct our order, which they agreed to do, but asked for the food back. EW, to think they could possibly serve these items to someone else. They arrived 45mins later (a time too long for the food ordered), took the food back and all was well. However, when I woke up this morning and left the house to my surprise I saw the Pizza One boxes we had returned to the driver sprawled out in the road across from my neighbors house. The driver must have tossed the food out the window as he drove away. I guess on the bright side they didn't serve it to anyone else. But I can tell you I won't be ordering from there again. read more
