I used to love ordering from here, but the last couple of times that I've ordered, the food has just been very dry, especially the chicken. They give you the thinnest piece of dry, overcooked chicken ever. Then, on top of that, the sun-dried tomatoes that were on my panini were actually sunburnt. Overall, it was just disgusting. If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. On Saturday July 8, my Steve and I went to Pizza and Sandwich Express for a late lunch. When my significant other asked the prices for the beverages, the young woman behind the counter told him two dollars and fifty cents. This was the price of the bottle sodas. She never mentioned that cans are one dollar and Arizona beverages are ninety nine cents. I ordered the corned beef and Swiss sandwich and my Steve opted for the egg salad sandwich. We were the only customers there. It half an hour for my sandwich to be ready. When my Steve asked the young man behind the counter where his sandwich was, he was told, "We don't refrigerate egg salad. We are cooking the eggs. We make each egg salad sandwich separately!" When my Steve explained that egg salad is supposed to be refrigerated, the man and the woman behind the counter were beligerant and argued with him! "This is a restaurant. This is how we make it for you. We only have one cook and there are five orders before yours. Sorry we're keeping you waiting but our cook is doing the best he can!" Egg salad is hard boiled eggs that are left to cool. They are then chopped up small. My mom added ranch dressing, and crumbled bacon. My significant other adds bacon bits, mayo, onion, and celery. It's always refrigerated and served cold! What my Steve finally got was hard boiled eggs on a hero roll. We wouldn't go to this place again if you paid us! read more

I usually order through GrubHub where their rating is 96%+ in all three categories. The menu is fairly standard but there are some hidden gems. Their salads are excellent, especially the Bikini salad and they have no problem substituting Feta for goat cheese. The burger platters are very good, cooked correctly as ordered and at a reasonable price. The wraps and sandwiches are very good but the bowties with pesto that comes as the side is outstanding. It's worth getting the sandwich for this side. In fact, I often order it as an addition if the entree we order doesn't have it. The Veal Marsala wasn't the best I have ever had but it was good for the price and I have ordered it again. I have not tried the "fat" sandwiches but they sound excellent and I wish I could. It took some time to sit and think if I really wanted to write this, as we all want to support small businesses especially now. I had given them a break since twice before ordering food and finding hair on 2 separate occasions One time I was even laughed at and told: "I know whose hair it is". BUT, In the past 2 months, I had ordered from them ALOT (my own stupidity, I hate to cook) that has come to a screeching halt as of tonight. our order comes we sit to eat, my 8 yr old pulled 3 long hairs out of her mouth from the sandwich she was eating. Mortified, I called and also realized the ziti I ordered wasn't in the bag... I tell them my issue w the sub, I suggest hairnets yadda yadda yadda, fell on deaf ears, wrote a note & taped the hair to the note so they can see whose hair it is the whole nine, now they come back w the sandwich and the ziti, NOW THERE'S HAIR IN THE ZITI. OMFG!!!! Especially in times when we are supposed to be so careful with handling food, AND NOT PASSING DISEASES OR HAIR, I would think you would be extra careful!! I thought hair nets were a must when you are handling food!! I am beyond grossed out, I am sick to my stomach, my daughter is traumatized since the hair was halfway down her throat, and when she pulled it ...UGGG just fkn grossed out. Ok, so the place looks a little dingy on the outside. Not somewhere you would really want to get food from. I understand that. Had my bf not worked for them as a delivery boy, I probably would've never heard of them. Who am I kidding? On certain days of the week, pies are cheaper and even better, I believe Tuesday's are 1/2 price sub days. C'mon, can you REALLY beat that? I didn't think so. The best sub/sandwich that they offer hands down is the Roast Beef sandwich which consists of hot roast beef with gravy and melted cheese on a garlic bread roll. and the garlic bread is the real deal. No messin' around. Homemade garlic spread with olive oil. This was the first place I had ever encountered a sub like that. Now, I see them on all the menus! The flavors just blend together so well and if possible, have Willy make it for you cause he makes them the best. Pizza isn't bad. I've had better, but it's pretty damn good. Specify "well done thin crust" as it is truly awesome. This allows more tasting of the sauce & cheese & whatever toppings than a plain pizza with crust that fills you up before you've even had your 2nd slice of pizza. Delivery can take a little while depending on the time and day you order. Typical mealtime hours are a bad call - you'd be better picking the food up yourself. And if you liked, you could also eat at one of the 3 or 4 tables they have set up in the shop. However, if it's off hours, the food is more likely going to arrive still warm & tasty. read more

I've been ordering from this place for years and the food has generally been good and some of the dishes are great. Lately, the delivery guy started going to the wrong town (not his fault, the girl that answered the phone wrote it down wrong) and my food arriving very late and cold. This happened again the other day but on top of that they also forgot to send the most expensive meal of the order, $15 worth! I called to complain and get replacement food sent or a refund and spoke to a guy who claimed to be the manager named William. I say claimed because he was very unprofessional. While I'm trying to talk to him, he kept starting to yell at the driver. I kept telling him, I don't care what happened with the delivery I just want to know about my food or refund. He kept ignoring me and yelling at the driver with me still on the phone. I finally shouted into the phone and got his attention and he told me I would get a refund and I should never call there again. My refund was never processed, I was charged the full amount. I have opened a dispute with my credit card company will take his advice and never call there again. Nice job, William. You lost a regular customer of 10-15 years. read more

This is a pretty dope place. Minus the one time where their food made more fluid come out of me than the nearby Great Falls. I found them through GrubHub's listings. They're literally less than a mile away from me, in neighboring Little Falls. Started ordering various items from them. I typically order their FAT sandwiches, which are chock full of ingredients. My favorite is the Fat Floyd, which contains "a cheeseburger, chicken fingers, bacon, french fries, mozzarella sticks, mayo and ketchup... Served on 10" roll." It's pretty satisfying, although I think the rolls (or something in the sandwich) could stand to be a TAD more moist and delectable. But I enjoy the sandwiches nonetheless. What takes the other 2 stars away in my book? Well, about 2 months ago, I ordered from them late night, in my usual fashion. Decided to try lobster ravioli. I ate them, along with some wings, and tasted nothing out of the ordinary. Welp, Yelp....... After going beddy-bye a few hours later, I woke up around 12:30 at night, only to have my stomach feel like it was in a no gravity zone in space... Just absolute TWIRLING around my torso. Let's just say I lost about a gallon of "muddy" matter through my "attic", as well as my "basement"... When I called the place the next day (after having to miss work), the owner picks up. I made it evident that I wasn't complaining or being angry, but that I wanted him to be aware that something in his kitchen was not fresh... I explained my food-poisoning situation, and he gives the usual deflective, unfazed shpiel like it couldn't POSSIBLY be their fault... He even goes as far as saying "Well, there's no problem with the ravioli, because it's frozen all the time!"--- Either way, he gives me a $10 credit, even though I could have sued his pants off and cost him MORE THAN THAT. I've refrained from ordering there again, but I won't detract from the rest of their food. They've got a great local following, and the rest of their food is pretty darn tasty. I'd say, stick to their sandwiches, pizza, and popular appetizers. NO LOBSTER RAVIOLI! I just hope that they'll take a little more consideration as to when people call with complaints. I'm a person that rarely complains or gives negative criticism to those that serve me. So when I do (especially because I do it so NICELY), I don't expect to be treated as if I'm either lying or just delusional, considering I've never had food poisoning until that moment. I have to echo other reviewers in saying that the food is consistently good... it's always hot and fresh when it arrives. It's seriously the best sandwich I've had in delivery range...they are HUGE - honestly, this 10.00 (or so) sandwich is 4 full-sized meals for me (2 for my husband)...the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the delivery times are typically pretty long...normally 45 to 60 minutes on a week night in town and it's a delivery spot, not a place to sit and grab a slice for a quick lunch, etc...I went once to pick up and it's a tiny, utilitarian space. I am disgusted. No, there wasn't anything gross "in" my food or anything. I just mean with the food itself. I have never attempted to eat anything as bad as what I just received.We ordered three things: Lobster Ravioli, a Veal Parm Sub, and a Garlic Sicilian Pizza. The Lobster Ravioli, could be mistaken for a bisque. It wasn't raviolis in sauce, it was watery sauce that raviolis were hidden in. I was almost excited for a moment, most places go too light on the sauce, and I thought it'd be fantastic dipping bread into the extra sauce, until I realized that it wasn't really sauce, it was sauce that whatever they had working the kitchen (because I will not call whoever made this a chef or a cook), had decided to mix a cup of tap water with before sending it out. Then the Veal Parm... Well, I took the bread from it and that was perfectly okay. The breaded veal, however... did the same person attempting to make my raviolis think you could make veal parm in a big ol' batch in a stew pot, breading and all? Because what I got was the toughest and slimiest veal I've ever bitten into. Into the trash it went, along with the raviolis (after I drained them in the sink). And then the Pizza... can't mess that up, right? Well, it was edible, so bravo cooking person, you finally did it. Unfortunately, there was no garlic on it. Nothing. No fresh garlic, no canned pre-minced garlic poured straight from the jar without removing the liquid as I'd come to expect from the other two orders, just nothing. It was just a Sicilian pizza, though not-a-cook also forgot you cut Sicilian Pizza square, but to be honest, I'm just impressed they let it use a cutting apparatus.
