Pizza is not that good compare to others in the area like Lindwood. Also not hygienic.

They overcharge and place hidden prices on your check. "Prices subject to change without notice" right on bottom of the printed menus. Which means if they feel like charging you $0.60 more for your soup, they will sneak that in. Quality of pizza was average. I was overcharged for my Beef patty, but it was delicuous. Ask for a receipt and compare it to the menu. read more

I've been coming here for years. The pizza is excellent, the salads are fresh. The soup is always good! I particularly love the split pea soup, the arugula Al limone salad with chicken, and my boyfriend likes the sandwiches and wraps. They season the chicken well and are consistently satisfactory with their customer service also. Although I see complaints about price, you get what you pay for. I have ordered multiplied times and they ALWAYS screw up the food! They repeat the order back which is good, but when the food arrives, it is ALWAYS wrong! Either things are missing or the food is not what your ordered. Also, one of the delivery drivers is VERY grump and rude! Warning: ask for the price when you order something because "prices are subject to change". You know, the disclaimer you need a microscope to read at the very bottom and the end of the menu gives them lives to charge you whatever they feel. Ala, they offer you something but don't tell you there is an up charge until you check is more then you thought. And when questioned, I was given a snarky response! Nice business ethic! Today I ordered from Sopranos pizzeria in Totowa, NJ. Sadly, I had another bad experience from them, I ordered a calzone with spinach and rice balls. Talk about disappointment, the calzone had oil sautéed spinach with garlic Instead of fresh spinach. Is it to much to ask for fresh spinach? The rice balls were so old you could distinguish if it was rice or mashed potatoes. The texture looked like mush and to top it off they split the rice balls in halves with their hands. I ordered rice BALLS!! The only good thing Soprano's makes and offers is the grandma's pie and eggplant Parmesan. Their sauce on their pasta is so acidity. If you know real Italian food I'm certain you'll find this out for yourself. read more

It's more like a trattoria. Nothing is premade. It doesn't come in a bag. It's like your Italian Nonna (grandma) is cooking your Italian food. Went in tonight with my wife for some pizza, walked in and was greeted just like I was Family. We ordered a Grandma pizza with Half Pepperoni and Half Chicken. It was the tastiest pizza we have ever had. It was cooked just right. The owner came over and asked how we liked it and told her not to change a thing. I found Sopranos with my Garmin. I really want some New York pizza. This didn't remind me of New York. I walked in, and the slices of several pizza varieties were sitting out. I fact, I noticed the slices which I ordered, looked like they'd been sitting out, except what I ordered. There was a pizza with French fries of it...kind of disgusting looking. If I had turned on the next main road, I would've found Tonys pizza. They warmed up my slice of sausage and my broccoli Alfredo. The Alfredo was decent. But the sausage, meh, not so much. I found it difficult to order, cause I don't think they understood me, or maybe the other way around. Anyway, it wasn't like I thought pizza from New Jersey (40 minutes west of N Y C) would be. The eating area, was a typical hole in the wall, and there were people waiting for their order. I won't be back. It's an ok pizza joint. I didn't think it was as bad as some of the other reviewers have stated. I had a buffalo chicken slice and found that the tomato sauce was a bit sweet for my taste. It also didn't have that buffalo hot sauce flavor to it that I really look forward to when eating buffalo wings. I could have used a bottle of red hot sauce to dump over my entire slice. Now - putting the hot sauce aspect of the slice aside -- and the sweetness of the tomato sauce aside --- the slice itself was ok. Nice consistency to it. And they appeared to have a good selection of slices to choose from. Cheese steak slice, Pasta Slice, Chicken Parm Slice, etc .... You get the picture So would I come back here? No I wouldn't, but it's definitely wasn't as bad as others are saying. read more

Sopranos Pizzeria is one of the best pizzerias I've ever ate from. I used to work across the street from Sopranos so during my lunch break I would order from them often. When ordering I would get either baked ziti, mozzarella sticks or pizza. I haven't had anything else from there so I cant speak on that, but from what I've experienced, the food is delicious and cooked to perfection. Chicken Francese is delicious. The prices are reasonable. Overall knowledgeable staff but not very warm and welcoming. It's always busy which is great but it takes away from the friendliness. Overall would recommend. I go every time I'm in the area. read more

EMPLOYEES SUCK! CUST SERVICE IS AS(S). This place has potential. The girl at the register is nice but the taller dude that's also behind the counter with the blond hair, always has a smart attitude. If you get slices, you have to be careful as they have many that sit for awhile and then try to reheat them to try and pass off as fresh. Then always ask for a detailed receipt as they don't give it you you unless asked. Once I asked for it found I was charged for an extra slice and then told they already charged my credit card so I wanted to get the hell out of here so took an extra cold slice. If the other pizza joints in town weren't close on Mondays, I wouldn't have came here. Going to make sure we have no pizza Monday's moving forward. read more

I had not ordered from this local place in years due to previous bad experiences but decided to give it a another try last night. The food & service used to be great maybe it is again. I placed an order & asked how long it was for delivery I was told 30-40 minutes. I said I will pick it up and the girl on the phone said come in 20 minutes. They did not ask for my name or give me an order #. I ordered an Eggplant Parmigiana dinner & and Chicken Parmigiana dinner both come with pasta or salad. I got one of both. I walked up to the register & told the two girls I had placed a pickup order & what it was. They both looked confused said they didn't have that order. I said I just called. They asked me to grab another takeout order that was behind me on a counter so they could check that. I did & it was not my order. One of the girls started questioning whether I called the right place & I said I know where I called. They both denied taking the order. Remember it's only 20 minutes ago & the place was empty. Finally the one girl recovers from her temporary amnesia & says oh I remember now I gave it to the delivery driver he left a few minutes ago. I was very annoyed & told the girl I specifically said I would pick up my food. She could care less & said very snarky that she could just call back the driver. I said no that's fine & stayed to leave and she said oh wait here's your salad we forgot to give it to him, you can just take it. Unbelievable! I get home & the delivery guy was just leaving I tell my husband the story & he laughs and tells me they forgot the bread too. Food was mediocre & totally not worth the aggravation or stupidity of the employees. The first time i ordered i had the pizza,buffalo wing garlic knot special..delivery was a lot longer than i was told.but i was happy with the order,very tasty ,I orderd the chicken giambotta and spaghetti with meatballs...so disappointed! The chicken was rubber the sauce had no flavor and the meatballs were a big sponge!! Worst meal I ever had and to put the icing on the cake is I ordered the italian cheesecake which turned out to be a bigger disappointment because it was just a store bought ny cheesecake!!. This is a tucked away pizza gem. I went here with a coworker for a slice of pizza and have been faithfully returning ever since for my local pizza fix. They make an OUT OF THIS WORLD grandma pizza that we order all the time - thick pan square crust, fresh plum tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil. This is what I reccomend without question, the flavors are SPOT on! After some time we've reached out and ordered other items, including sandwiches and wraps that each really hit the mark as well. I'm not sure what all these other people are talking about or if they've ever had real good pizza and Italian food but this place sucks. The food is bland. The prices are a little over ambitious for what they serve you. And the service was horrible. There were a bunch of teenagers running the store when I was there. I went to clear my plate into the garbage can and the kid just watched me do it instead of saying "oh here, let me do that for you." I would have expected that since he was just standing there with his arms crossed and BSing with the blonde girl behind the counter. Ordered for delivery. Unimpressed and will not be ordering again. Ordered over the phone. Person answering phone acted/sounded inconvenienced. Ordered 2 Buffalo Chx Sandwiches, a Side Salad, and an Arizona Iced Tea. Screwed up the order. Only got 1 sandwich. Called back. Asked how it was possible that this was a $17 lunch. Buffalo Chicken sandwich ($7), Side Salad ($5), and Arizona Iced Tea ($2). It wasn't. He explained it was anyway and added tax. Fine. Whatever. Starving. Sit down to eat. The side salad is a hand full of romaine, 2 slices of cucumber, 1/4 a tomato, and a handful of olives. Not $5 worth. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is grilled chicken, not really spicy/kinda like bbq sauce, on a wrap. Nothing else. Blue cheese on the side. Terrible. An $7 sandwich that costs $3 to make and that's being generous. Iced tea was Arizona and it was in the smaller container than the 99c cans and it was $2. Half an hour later they come back with another sandwich. Should of been a wrap. This time they toss tomatoes and lettuce on it. Put it on a huge, hard, crusted roll. Marked up prices, half ass effort, worse food than I could make at a gas station grocery store. read more

Love this place, only downside is you MUST order the pizza well done. If you do, it's perfect, if not its a bit doughy. Otherwise very solid pizza, good sandwiches etc. definitely my go to spot in totowa for jersey pizza. read more

I just moved to Wayne and have been trying to find a new pizzeria. So far Sopranos is the best, nothing like my hometowns pizza however.
