I can't say enough about La Bella. You walk in & you're greeted with Italian hospitality. It's the cutest hole in the wall spot for good authentic Italian food. My go to is usually the chicken alfredo lunch special which comes with bread and salad (the house salad dressing is to die for). Today I didn't make lunch, so I ordered the regular pasta size. I've also tried and recommend their sausage and peppers, lasagna, and shrimp alfredo. Everything is always made to order and with the freshest of ingredients. EVERY SINGLE TIME. For that reason I have to give them a 5/5. I don't know many places that I've ordered from over last 6-7 that's remained as consistent as this place. We ordered iced tea to drink, and it is very well brewed! for a salad, we ordered the Caprese salad and it's composed of nice thick slices of Roma tomato topped with mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and oil with balsamic vinegar, delicious! The seating is well separated, and the appearance interior is nice for the ambience is comfortable and quiet, although I have not been here at lunch! I read that they have lunch specials and it appears to me that that would be worth checking into, but my wife and I choose to be here for dinner and she chose very tasty Penne with vodka sauce, and it's a pink sauce, and I tasted it, and vodka sauce is not my favorite, however, I must admit to this vodka sauce. out does any vodka sauce I have ever tried. It's rich and quite flavorful and very well spiced, absolutely a dish to order! And I have the Salmon Piccata, and I asked to order it with the salmon done rare and it is and it is amongst a very tasty lemon wine sauce with a lot of wonderful capers, I am really enjoying it! My niece planned a birthday party for her son at La Bella. We had about 30 people attending. We did it at 11 am on Sunday. It was amazing how they got food out for that many people. There were also probably 30 other diners in there as well. It took a little while, but considering the number of people, it is expected to take a little time. We got a variety of dishes. Pizza, Ravioli, Manicotti, Chicken Parm, Chicken Picatta, Spaghetti, Chicken Parm sandwich, Stromboli, among other pasta dishes. Everyone at the table loved their food. I took a pizza to go to feed my boyfriend and it was delicious even after it sat for an hour. We were thrilled with the food and the service was very good as well. FAST delivery, in less than 30 minutes! WOW. Yelp is really getting good at order fulfillment! Very nice delivery person, added $1 to the tip they had already calculated making it a bit over 20%. I'm a good tipper.. It was nice and warm. Oh, I can't wait to taste that Italian sausage!!! However, the Italian sausage was practically non-existent. It had way too much Canadian bacon, but minimal Italian sausage on both items I bought. I paid extra for Italian sausage on the Sausage Calzone and the La Bella Special Pizza! It was the only item I paid extra for on the La Bella Special Pizza, put some more Italian sausage please, I paid extra for it! What a let down. The crust on the calzone was excellent, the cheese was excellent, the pizza crust was excellent, the amount of Italian sausage was almost non-existent. I guess it is back to Pappa Osh, I was trying this place out to see if I could give them a great review, but it is hard to give a great review when the main thing you want and pay for is barely there... Great place if you like Canadian bacon, there was so much Canadian bacon on the pizza, I thought somebody spilled salt on it.. I blew all of those calories on something that was below average. I now understand why restaurants with bad food stay open. (They have great staff ). On the other hand Bellas is the complete opposites. The have eatable food but poor customer service. I ordered a antipasto salad and a pasta combo. Almost $20.00. Upon opening my meal, my daughter notice that our salad was wrong. They gave me a Cesar salad. I instantly called to explain what happen. They offered to make a new one but I refused to drive back. It's late, I'm hungry and tired......we've all been there. They took my name so I cud have a free salad for another day. Now we're eating and my daughter says this is not the pasta combo. NOT THE RIGHT COMBO!!!. By this time I'm pissed and didnt call back. Trust me, they didn't want to hear what I had to say. 3 days later I go to retrieve my salad and they act as if I'm begging for a freebie. I mentioned the pasta combo and they guy acts as if they dont make mistakes. I said, this was all wrong and I'd like my full meal. He says no. I said sure you will. His reason for not giving me the full meal------- I didn't call back abt the pasta combo fuck up. I told him that I was pissed at the time so please fix my meal. He refused ( looking confused as if this cudnt have happen). I gave him an option, either give me a full meal or you can keep the salad and loose my bussiness. ( Btw, they knew that my salad was taken by a delivery driver. My salad cost 7.99 the salad I received was 4.99). After still refusing to replace my meal. I decided to leave and allow them to keep the salad and my $3.00 lost on the salad. To sum it up... I got the wrong pasta, wrong salad, got cheated out of $3.00 and a wasted gas. ( damn near called a liar). This location has never been a very successful. So I'll be licking my chops waiting for them to close. Sad to say but so true. I guarantee my meal cost under $5.00 to make. They rather loose a custo, knowing they fucked up. Things must be getting rather tight at bellas.
