We were craving pizza one night, but didn't want to make the drive all the way to our usual spot in Dallas, so we decided to give this spot a try. We weren't disappointed at all. What a drastic difference this last visit made. We were wanting pizza and decided to try IV out again. After a less than flattering first time, the second time was such a sweet welcoming. Pizza was delivered hot, fresh, and out of this world. Plus, a pizza made with green peppers rather than green olives was made on accident AND provided to us at delivery, free of charge. Even had my wife and I contemplating about having it brought in for birthday parties. Stumbled on this place and so glad we did. We pulled up and didn't expect much but the food was tasty. There's no dine in options. So order ahead, or order and wait. They have delivery options too so that's good to know since we are not far away. No pictures of the toasted ravioli since we ate it on the way home. Super cheesy and full of ricotta which I like. Wish they had some with meat inside it too. That would be tasty. Lasagna was a great portion and was so good. We asked if we could add beef and they accommodated us. Super cheesy. Super saucy. And super good! Definitely would order again. All meats pizza. The crust was good! We opted for the original crust so next time we will try the thin crust. The workers do not wear gloves. I saw one go to his car to grab some things and then went straight to handling food again with his bare hands. Also there is no air conditioning for these poor workers. It is so hott in there for them. Lastly I was quoted 20 minutes for my large pizza with breadsticks with a side salad and it ended up being a 40 minute wait in my car. When the gentleman came to bring us our meal they forgot the salad and so we ended up waiting again for them to prepare a salad. I am sure that the owners living attached to this business have air conditioning in their home. So why not provide your employees in the workplace with cool air? It has me a little concerned for food freshness and quality. read more

Saw an article about this place, it's close by and really the only food option in South Rockwall county. We were pleasantly surprised. Great menu, several options. We got the 4 cheese lasagna and a small pizza with Pepperoni, green pepper & onion on thin crust. The lasagna was great HUGE portion. The pizza...not great but better than Dominos. The thin crust was good, cooked another 2-3 to make the crust crispier would have been better, the green peppers were diced and spread pretty thin. Couldn't tell if there were onions? Adequate coverage on the pepperoni. The guys working there were very nice but when we asked abt the lasagna he said he never had it? Shoot, if I worked there I'd weigh 400lbs from eating the lasagna alone. Good location & they deliver too, very friendly staff and good food, we will be back! read more

The pizza's were excellent. We got a BBQ chicken and sausage and pep and the were both excellent. Love that they have a 7 inch pizza option and their thin crust is on point. Living here in Fate we unfortunately do not have many delivery options, so I was so happy that The Italian Village has become another option for myself and my neighbors. I must say the Delivery was prompt and the driver very polite and professional. The order was on point. I ordered a LG pepperoni and cheese za, regular crust, not thin. It was quite tasty with a good balance of cheese, sauce and pepperoni. I do however prefer a little less sweetness in the sauce, but it was still tasty. Also, I felt the crust was just a tad bit undercooked, and I do mean just a tad bit I also ordered a small appetizer of fried ravioli. I really enjoyed it, along with my cheesy garlic bread that was cooked perfectly. All in all I am extremely happy to have The Italian Village as an option now. I love this place and it's so nice to actual have a restaurant that will deliver or I can go pick up easily in my area. The food is quite tasty and they are pretty quick with getting my order ready. We have had the pizza, spaghetti and lasagna and all tasted very good. You can tell they use fresh ingredients to make their food. This establishment is take out only so don't expect to be able to sit down and have a nice meal. I think for the money the portions are pretty good as well. You can find them off 548 where part of their garage was converted into a kitchen area. If you are in the mood for Italian food, definitely check this place out. read more

Their food is good. I like their pizza. Yes, it greasy, but that's how I like my pizza! Pizza is not health food! This is a good bunch of people with good Italian food. This is our absolute favorite (and fast) pizza place ever!!! Something about their dough, sauce and cheese keeps me from going anywhere else! They beat (just to name a few) Little Caesars, Dominoes, Papa John's, Costco pizza etc. I highly recommend ordering from them as they will not disappoint and are soooooo delicious. Their pizza is not greasy or soggy. You can customize your pizza however you like or just choose from the menu. I've also had their buffalo chicken wings and they are super tasty, I always order mine extra well done. Their Italian deli and buffalo chicken sandwiches are so addicting. This place saves me from cooking dinner but i also love ordering during their lunch specials, you get a great price for select items. We were so excited to find that someone other than Dominos and their cardboard deluxe pizza was delivering in the Royse City area. Sadly, we will still have to drive to town for pizza or make it ourselves. We ordered a meat lovers large pizza and one of their "supreme" pizzas. Two pizzas delivered cost $40! They were small and skimpy on toppings. My wife counted a total of five pepperonis on the meat lovers pizza. After our expensive pizza, there were still seven hungry mouths at our house.
