    House pizza
    Ron V.

My wife and I went here last night for dinner. We decided to split a large Greek salad with the creamy salad dressing and also, split the house special pizza. The salad was very good with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cucumbers and feta cheese. The salad dressing was also good. The pizza was excellent. It had a very crispy crust with sausage, pepperoni and ground beef, black olives and onions. The cheese had a great taste and the sauce was also good. The nice thing is that the crust was crispy and strong enough to hold that many toppings without falling over as many do. You can actually pick up a slice and eat it! Great menu with a lot of choices of subs, Italian dishes and Greek gyros and plates. Will definitely return!

Have a winner here! Our ROMEO group went today. with 7 of us. Great place, great service, clean and a great menu. Our orders were taken quickly by the waitress and we placed entree orders for: 1. Large Greek Salad 2. Calzone 3. Meatball Sub 4. Split a large pizza with meat (2 of us split) 5. Split a large Greek Salad with creamy dressing and a medium House Special Pizza. (2 of us split) The pizza was fantastic. The House Special was had everything on it and had a perfect thin crispy crust. The Creamy Greek dressing was very good and the salad was loaded with finely crushed feta cheese, pepperoncini, carrots, Kalamata olives, cucumbers and fresh lettuce. The other Greek salad had the oil/vinegar sauce. The Calzone was huge and looked very good. Loaded with meat and sauce. The Meatball sandwich also looked very good. Both pizzas had that great crispy thin crust. Prices are very reasonable....and I'm sure we'll be back to try other things on the extensive menu. A great find!

We were getting our cars washed so hubs and I decided to come here for a light lunch. We've been here before and ordered so we know it's pretty decent. The service is okay, good for a mom and pop type restaurant so it's super laid back. The waitress was very sweet and they put the football game on for us to watch while we waited. My hubs got a sub and he said it was really good. I just got a grilled chicken salad. Their ranch dressing was really good and a bit sweet. I think the lettuce to chicken ratio was off but the chicken was very flavorful and tender. The lettuce was crunchy and fresh as well. I just got carrots because I don't like cucumbers and onions so I opted out. I didn't eat the tomatoes but for someone who likes them, they did look fresh too. (I'm just not a huge veggie person). Overall it was a good quick lunch to start off our Saturday

One of the local pizza spots not too far from the house ... Today I ordered a small pizza with Chicken, mushrooms, onions with the Alfredo sauce and fried mushrooms .. the Mrs ordered the steak and cheese sandwich ... of course to the mushrooms I had to add vinegar salt and parm it's the only way ...the mushrooms came out piping hot and fresh .. and satisfied my taste as always ... the wife said that her Steak and cheese was also tasty but she forgot to order her sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes The pizza wasn't to bad but the Alfredo was missing the wow factor for taste .. could be the facts traditional Italian cooks cook differently. None the less overall the pizza was good and loaded with cheese my favorite ... as always the staff is nice and friendly making sure we were taking care of ... thx Pizza Palace.. if you are in the Columbia area look up pizza palace ... they treat everyone like family

First time trying this restaurant, but it has been on my "wanting to try" list. The customer service was really welcoming and nice. The restaurant style is not up to date but it is cozy. One of the gentlemen that cashed me out gave me a courtesy slice of cake with my order. I appreciated that gesture and the hospitality. I ordered the Chicken parmigiana with an extra order of garlic bread with sauce. My meal was about $20. I do think the chicken was flavored well but the pasta/pasta sauce lacked seasoning in my opinion. The garlic bread was good especially with the side of sauce. Please check it out

Awesome manicotti, stromboli, Greek salad, fried mushrooms served by the most amazing server, Charlie! Great food with great prices!

Pizza is good but when extra sauce is requested they charge but don't ever seem to do it.

Highly recommended!!!!!…read more Been here several times since moving to SC from NY. Definitely the best place we've found south of Brooklyn. Good is great and even more importantly, it's great consistently. The counter staff is always friendly and quick to get you your food. Everything is always spot on, including their homemade Italian ices. More importantly, those ices are available all year long. For anyone who knows good Italian ices, Cucinella's definitely compares to the likes of Marino's. This place has a great NYC pizza joint vibe. Simple yet awesome decor, my kinda music playing discretely in the background. Low enough to enjoy a conversation over lunch but loud enough to hear. Best of all, you can buy a pie (a pizza pie) whole or by the slice. If you're in the area, it would be worth your stopping in. Enjoy!!!

Keep in mind, NY style isn't even my favorite style, If the pizza is good, it's good. This was meh. I am being really generous with the three stars. It wasn't horrible. I had the cheese pizza because that's the way to tell how good the pizza is. The cheese tasted like Sysco bulk cheese. The sauce has almost no flavor. The crust was bland but not horrible. I think the frozen pizza from Kroger has more flavor. I thought I got covid again it was so bland. I hate to be so critical of a family owned business and I generally don't blast a place I am trying for the first time. The best thing I can say about this place is that they have a variety of toppings, though I didn't try them.

We got there about 20 minutes after opening and sat in one of the booths. The waiter took our orders quickly and brought out our drinks. We ordered 3 personal pizzas and a steak and cheese sub. We had one plain cheese pizza, a Supreme personal pizza and a build your own personal pizza with pepperoni, onions and mushrooms. We also ordered one small Garden salad. 1 sweet tea, 2 waters and a diet coke. The salad was excellent. Crispy cold lettuce with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, two types of cheese and good croutons with ranch dressing. The steak and cheese sub came out and we were surprised when wee saw the bread. We were expecting a regular style hoagie bun or baguette type bun, but looked almost like a pita bread from the top. I asked the waiter what type of bread it was and he said they make their own bread. It was excellent. Looked like a naan bread almost. She ordered jalapeno's on it and it was excellent. Said she'd order it again. The pizzas were good. I had the supreme and the sausage was real good. We all agreed that the crust and cheese were very good. Two of us thought the sauce was different and must've had something it it, as they didn't rave over the sauce. I had the supreme and there were so many toppings that I didn't pay much attention to the sauce. Mine was very good. We were surprised that they only offer two sizes of pizzas...personal and large. Large is $24.95 and personals are around $14.95. They have a good selection of pizzas. Our one complaint was the pricing. They charge $2.00 for toppings and $3.00 got premier toppings. It's the same charge for either the personal or large pizzas. Our personal Cheese pizza (with no toppings) was $9.50. My personal Supreme pizza was $14.95 (which contained mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, bacon, black olives and green pepper) while my wife ordered just a personal pepperoni with onions ($2) and mushrooms ($3), totaling $15. Seems like they'd charge less for toppings on a personal size than on a large! My bill as $43.97 before the tip. Our neighbors bill for their pizza, sandwich and drink was $32.59 before tip. They were charged $4 for jalapeno's on the side and slices of tomato.

Rachel was quick, witty and so sweet and had a way with the kiddos my daughter loved her. We started off with the cast iron goat cheese as the appetizer- solid and even the kids loved it. The broccoli was cooked well , not hard but not soft and had some spice to it. I ordered the hanger steak with sweet potatoes instead of fries and omg it was so good. I got my steak cooked medium well, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I loved the Parmesan on top of the sweet potatoes. It was the perfect pair. The drink I got was a white sangria which was sweet but not too sweet. You could def taste the wine and all the fruit flavors. My girl go the oven brick salmon and that didn't miss either. The food... we ordered the Garlic Knots, Mediterranean Pizza, and a Pepperoni Pizza, and were not disappointed. The Garlic Knots - freshly made, good quality dough. We almost went back and ordered a second order of 'em. The pizzas? We loved them! My son said the bottom could've been a little bit crisper, but otherwise, the quality of the ingredients was good, and both tasted great. The Brews... we enjoyed two flights, not bad overall.
