Ordered a large pizza with green pepper and onion with a side of onion rings. The quantity of green pepper and onion was minimal, as well as the cheese and tomato sauce. The onion rings were over cooked with absolutely no flavor. This was the worst pizza experience I have ever had in Pittsburgh. I would not recommend them. I attempted to contact the business through their web site to give them a chance to respond but kept getting "invalid character" error messages. So I'll post this here instead. Zero stars is more appropriate, from the order taker to the follow-up phone call responses to the quality of the food. I called in an order for a pizza on Sunday, February 18, at 7:30 to be delivered to the Cambria Suites hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. The woman who took the order did not seem to be familiar with the hotel and she asked for the address, which I gave her. She didn't ask for a room number or a last name but told me the pizza would arrive in approximately 45 minutes. After about 30 minutes, I went down to the hotel lobby to wait. By 8:30, the pizza had not arrived so I called the restaurant and was told it was on its way. Called again at 8:45 and was told the driver was en route and would call when he was outside. Called again at 8:49 and at 9:04, still no pizza. Finally, at 9:09 the driver arrived and I went out to meet him. As he was pulling the pizza from the trunk of his car, I asked how long he had been driving around with my pizza in his car and he, not understanding what I was saying, apologized and said "very busy". "Very busy" does not explain why he drove around with the pizza for over an hour, possibly longer, without calling me to find out where I was or getting me a fresh pizza. The pizza was ice cold and my family ate it only because we had waited nearly 2 hours and other food options were dwindling at that hour. I don't even know why I paid for it. By the way, I was also told, when I called back at 9:12 to complain that the pizza was cold and dried out, that none of the drivers speaks English. That's not a problem unless they can't call and ask for directions. Then it's a big problem. read more

This place is awful. The pizza is not good, but what is worse is the people who run the place. They screwed up my order and refused to fix it. I told them I was going to throw it away and order from somewhere else. And I did. Its really too bad, they are super close to my apartment. If they would've just been nice and switched it, I'd probably order from them again just based on that alone. read more

My son goes to school in Pittsburgh, and was coming home on Greyhound today. After losing his wallet (license, social and cash) and a mishap with the bus, he was stuck in Pittsburgh terminal for 6+ hours. I called Pizza Parma, they took order and payment via phone (with hiccups on my part) and delivered him a hot pie and drink while he waited. He hadnt had nothing since breakfast, so I am very grateful for the people who work here and though I never tried it, my son says, its the BEST pizza hes ever had. read more

Disgusting. Found a rubber band within the cheese of my pizza slice. Plus, the crust was hard as a rock. They used to have doughy, delicious crust and actually good ingredients on their pizza. Now, it tastes like something I'd get from the freezer and stick in a toaster oven. Do not go here if you like good pizza. read more

I work downtown and am always looking for good lunch ideas. DEFINITELY NOT HERE! I've ordered their pizza which has a terrible taste and is a bit pricey. I gave them a second chance and ordered a salad, mainly because I wanted a MIXED GREENS salad (as opposed to iceberg lettuce). When I called I specifically confirmed they used mixed greens in their salads. The said that they did. The salad arrived and was at least 95% iceberg lettuce. I could fit all of the "mixed greens" in one forkful of the salad. You definitely do not get what you order, what you're told you'll get and what you pay for! Catering order for Administrative Professionals Day delivered on time and plentiful. We were provided with extra dressing at no extra charge and there was a large variety of vegetables not just greens. The vegetables and greens were very clean and fresh. Everyone was very happy with the salads. I often purchase a delivered lunch from them. I like Pizza Parma because it is possible to purchase a variety of fish in addition to the standard pizza and pasta most pizza places offer on their menus in Pittsburgh. The pizza at this place is O.K. if you only get cheese or pepperoni. I made the mistake of getting a taco pizza one day with wings and ended up throughing my $22 bucks worth of delivery food in the trash. There is a place in my life for fast, cheap, mediocre pizza. I will concede that late at night, that's all you're going to get. While Pizza Parma fills that particular niche, that still doesn't make it particularly good. Delivery driver called to say he was here and didn't appear for another 5 minutes so waited outside in the cold He then came without a pen for a credit card order which required a signature. Order was incorrect and cold. Called and was told that many of their drivers are new and do not speak English very well. They were very nice on the phone and offered a free appetizer on a future order, but none of this helps now. You have to get it right the first time, every time. read more
