    Table

I don't know how you mess up a buffet this badly, but Pizza Pie Cafe managed it. The pasta was chewy and undercooked, like it was rushed out before it even met boiling water. The pizza wasn't much better -- several slices were burnt on the bottom, leaving that lovely bitter, charred taste that overpowers everything else. And the final straw: the forks. Ours clearly weren't properly washed. Seeing dried-on food still stuck to silverware is disgusting and completely unacceptable for a restaurant. Between the half-cooked pasta, burnt pizza, and dirty utensils, this place seriously needs to step up its food quality and cleanliness. Definitely won't be back.

Got there around 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and it was packed! Thankfully our friends got us on the waitlist for a table so we didn't have to wait in line to pay. However they told us to wait for them to seat us but another group after us just walked to a table that was open so once a booth opened up our two families went to go squish into there. Although it was very busy and you had to wait in line to get pizza, the staff was quick and friendly. They restocked fresh pizzas quickly cleaning up tables. Since there were only two restrooms there was a long line at one point over 10 minutes. Our friends ended up walking to Macey's grocery store to use the bathroom there. I love all the variety of pizza flavors, pasta noodles, and salad bar. Also their dessert pizzas and cinnamon sticks are my favorite!

This is the best pizza buffet I've been to. The pasta bar adds variety and the carbonara is awesome.

There is something about cooking your own food at the table, at exactly the temperature you want, in exactly the amount you want, that turns a meal into an experience worth repeating. The concept is all you can eat Korean style tabletop grilling with two menu options. The Umami Buffet Experience covers a generous selection of quality meats, and the Full Premium Experience adds New York strip steak, Japanese short ribs, lamb, tri tip, shrimp, calamari, and cow tongue. We ordered one of each to compare. Honest verdict: the regular buffet holds its own and the premium upgrade did not justify the price difference enough to order it again next time. The table sauces are worth exploring. The roasted sesame is my personal favorite, but the miso apple and garlic shoyu are both worth trying alongside your meat. A selection of vegetables comes with the grill as well. One welcome improvement since my last visit: the ventilation setup has been redesigned so the smoke no longer follows you home in your clothes for the rest of the evening. A small thing that makes a real difference. The time limit is around three hours, which is more than enough. Forty minutes at the grill was plenty for us. Now for the honest part. The cold buffet side needs work. The spring rolls were a miss, the Hawaiian mac salad was forgettable, and the only sushi option was a California roll that did not taste fresh. For a restaurant that executes the grilling experience this well, the appetizer and salad bar deserve more attention. Four stars for the meat, the experience, and the improved ventilation. Come hungry, focus on the grill, and set your expectations accordingly for everything else on the buffet.

One last meal, and I know my crew and I know I can keep everyone happy at a Chinese buffet. Everyone gets what they want and all you can eat. The even have some American stuff like French fries, pizza and ribs. Price is around $20 per person with tax and a little tip. The service is typical Asian buffet, they fill the drinks if asked and clear the plates, not a lot of conversation going on. Inside the place is decent sized, not a little mom and pop. They have a Mongolian Grill thingy and sushi along with all the usual American Chinese foods. Hot and sour as well as egg flower soup along with noodles and deep fried stuff and yes, the general and his chicken! The place is decently clean, but yeah, there's the usual sloppy foods from sloppy customers at the buffet. Put the tongs back in the same place you took them from , please! We all got our fill and the stay didn't take 2 hours like some fancy sit down and order place. I paid the bill and we can head out now back on the road!

I had to spit out some of my food because it had clearly gone bad. The next day, my friend and I both had food poisoning symptoms. Horrible. The worst part is, as we were sitting there watching them clean up for the night, we saw them packing up the food to serve it again the next day. That is scary. If you can get beyond the risk of food poisoning, I will say the service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The prices were also not bad, $18 per person on a Saturday night for buffet. Personally, I would turn back the clock and eat somewhere else, it was not worth the deal.

Arrived a few minutes before lunch was ending but told our server we'd like to enjoy the dinner options. Sashimi is a dinner item, nigiri for lunch. The best part? You can order custom sushi rolls made fresh--no waiting around for dried-out rice rolls here. We tried the Sunrise Roll, which was bright and citrusy with a lemony kick, and the Tequila Roll, which packed some serious heat. I tapped out after one spicy piece (spice and I are not friends), but my other half loved it and polished off the rest without hesitation. The buffet line is a solid spread too: sashimi, nigiri, a seafood section with peeled shrimp, mussels, and rock crab, plus a bunch of hot dishes to round things out. Pro tip: The plates and bowls are underneath the buffet counters. It took me a moment to find them, but my shorter half was already ahead of the game--of course. They've got a dumpling station that's worth lingering over, and the pork belly buns were so good I may have gone back for seconds (and thirds). And if you're a prawn fan? They've got them every which way: chilled, grilled, fried--take your pick. The soups are self-serve and include miso, seafood, and egg drop--classic, comforting, and great for warming up between plates. Special shoutout to Nico, our friendly and helpful server who explained how everything works since it was our first time. Always appreciate service with a smile. We left full, happy, and with a couple of come-back cards for $3 off lunch and $5 off dinner--nice little bonus! While it may not be our go-to for sushi-only cravings, it's definitely one of the better buffets in town, and we'll absolutely be back.

I had mash potatoes and beef gravy, battered shrimp, coconut shrimp, salmon, fried chicken, roast beef, roast chicken, ham, scone (with honey butter, yum), roll (with cinnamon hone butter, yum), clam chowder, horchata. All were enjoyable. Well, the roast beef was a bit dry and a tad tough, the salmon was slightly overcooked (as expected) but was acceptable and a nice addition to their menu. The apple crisp was good as was the lava cake and rice pudding. Even the fries were good. I am impressed how good everything was. The service was very nice. They clear your table of dirty dishes and offer to get you refills of drinks. When you pay at the beginning, ask for some cash to tip them. If you forget, you can run your card again and get some cash to leave a tip on the table. They were very pleasant and even when passing you by, they smile. It was a nice restaurant, very comfortable. I had a booth. The tables are nice and conducive to large parties. My favorite AYCE restaurant so far! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
