Unfortunately, Piezano's just didn't hit the mark for us. The biggest issue was the quality of the food. The pizza lacked freshness and flavor, and overall it felt poorly executed, especially for a place centered around pizza. It wasn't a matter of personal preference or style -- the quality itself was disappointing. That said, the staff were very friendly, kind, and attentive. Everyone we interacted with was polite and tried their best, though the team did seem quite young and possibly undertrained, which showed a bit in the overall experience. The most concerning part of our visit was the bathroom, which was absolutely disgusting. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any restaurant, and this alone would make us hesitant to return. We really wanted to like this place, but between the food quality and the cleanliness issues, we don't see ourselves coming back. With some serious improvements to cleanliness and food execution, it could be better -- but as it stands, it missed the mark for us.

But I wouldn't like it, and maybe I'd go full vegetarian. Located walking distance from a truck stop (if you dont get caught by the railroad police and forced to go around the train tracks the long way, instead of zipping straight across them and turning left;)), or you can get delivery by instacart, but be careful on the prepped, bagged produce. That stuff isn't all fresh and rosy. Make sure you put instructions in there for your personal shopper to grab you a bag from behind all the ones in front if you go that route.

I'm not sure why I should even give any stars at all, but the salad and pizza was pretty good. One of the male employees was very nice and even brought me a slice of pizza straight out of the oven (He knew I was waiting on this particular pizza). The main reason why I will not frequent this establishment ever again is due to the absolute rudeness of the manager on duty and the female employees that seemed to be her little posse. As my sister and I were finishing up our lunch, we both had a little bit of chicken left on our plate. I went to the front counter to ask if there is such a thing as a small bag or something that I could take my leftover chicken home in. Mind you we had paid for our meal as we entered and even with my military discount it was a good $30 for lunch., so I didn't think too much of asking to take home the leftover piece of chicken on my plate. The response I got was a very stern NO, THIS IS A BUFFETT, YOU CAN TAKE ANYTHING HOME WITH YOU. To this I said "nothing" and walked back to my table and told my sister what they said. As my sister was trying to finish her meal, there were no less than 3 (THREE) of the employees circling our table! We were 100% provoked by these people. Seriously, do you think we are thieves and are going to steal half a piece of Chicken! I didn't really notice the two employees (girls) standing one table behind us but did notice the manager walk past us twice pretending to be looking for a table to clean. There were not many people in there at this time as the lunch crowd had pretty much cleared out. My sister was visibly upset due to being watched, as was I at this point. We got our coats on, refilled our To-Go cups, and proceeded to leave, but not before I mentioned to my sister that one girl was being a little bitch. Well they obviously heard me say that and that's when they began yelling at us to get out, just leave, they said. The manager said, Watch your mouth! One of them called me a bitch and the other one said "hollar". What the hell does that even mean? Do any of these people have so much as an education or any sense for that matter? Never have I ever been treated so badly in a restaurant before for simply asking a question! I say to you, go ahead and take your chances here because the food is not great, but just ok.
