Went to lunch here with my wife and the food was decent. They were only taking orders from the menu and not the table top bbq. That was fine with us. The sizzling combo plate was decent as all the different meats tasted fresh. The service is why I took two stars away. Our waiter was the only one working and taking care of 3 other tables, carry out orders and a catering order someone came in to place. He was doing his best and working hard so this isn't a knock on him but they simply need more workers to create a better service experience. We got out food but didn't get the naan until a good 5-7 min later which made the food cold. Our drink came much later. These are just two example of the lack of service due to manpower. Will be back to try again.

It is a bad place. They did not serve the what I ordered. Despite reservations, there was nothing on my table, served even after 30 minutes of order. It is typical trait of such restaurants, as soon as they see a decent foot fall they start doing corner cutting. Staffs are trained to lie. They first lied taht there skewers is not working. Finally they agreed to serve but it never come. Other items in menus which we ordered were tasteless too.

A lot of people are unaware of this new gem in town - Absolute BBQ is an EXCELLENT Desi food joint that should not be missed. My mother had had their food, and had loved it, so when we decided to have a birthday Party for my husband, I was skeptical about it since I had not tried their food myself. But man oh man, am I glad that I listened to my mom, because their food was PHENOMENAL! Their Goat Ghongura Biryani was simply delicious. The Shrimp Curry was perfectly seasoned. Their Apollo Fish is a MUST try! And their butter chicken was darn good too. But what completely had me licking my fingers was that they had absolutely the BEST pillowy idlis, with a great tasting Sambar and Rasam, to boot! Overall, their food was awesome! We ordered off the menu and since there were a LOT of us, we did not order BBQ as this would take a lot of time to make for 20 people - but I would CERTAINLY recommend it! They have these awesome tables where they can light a fire right in the middle of the table, and your bbq cooks in front of you; it's a DELIGHTFUL experience, and certainly worth experiencing! But what is like to acknowledge is how STELLAR their customer service was. We were a group of almost 30 with a bunch of kids of varying ages, and the restaurant staff and owners went ABOVE and BEYOND to give us the absolute best customer service! They've got a LOT of space, so definitely consider having your next party here! I will be coming back here, again and again...for sure!

No. This dining concept has been around in India for over a decade. I always hoped that someone would open one in the US. Its like Korean bbq but Indian. Hot coal grill at your table. Your kababs cook right in front of you. Awesome concept unless you CUT CORNERS AT EVERY ANGLE. The first red flag was when the gentleman at our table asked us if we could forget about the charcoal grill altogether, let them skillet everything up in the kitchen "and then we'll bring it out on a sizzler plate!". Um no, we drove an hour for the grill experience. We ordered a medly of meats and shrimp...all ended up being precooked...to a dry rubber state. Luckily we ordered a few ala carte items because my parents couldn't chew the overcooked meats for the charcoal grill. Fyi, ala carte entrees aren't shareable like most Indian restaurants. Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian was just ok. What was to be veg pakora was some onion and a few strands of spinach but mostly flour. The chicken biryani was good but took sooo long to arrive. My parents said the mutton curry smelled a little too gamey. When we asked the gentleman (who seemed to be managing the place) for lassi, he responded like my daughter responds when I tell her to clean her room: "LASSI!!??? (sighs)....okay" I mean it IS on the menu and its just yogurt, sugar, ice, and water buddy. After all, we needed something to wash down the day old product that we were being fed. Service was slow, value of food was poor, costs were high considering the other options we could have chosen for a group of 10. A gimmick that has potential but you mustn't wince and cringe whenever we want to give you money in exchange for what you advertise. Please try harder Absolute BBQ. -fin-

Our friends catered from this fine Indian restaurant for a milestone anniversary. The food was finger licking good and.delicious! My favorite was the mutton biryani, it had an authentic taste which transported me back to my days in Hyderabad, India. The veggie cashew curry just hit the spot. The food tasted homemade, fresh and non- greasy. I cannot wait to dine at this fine establishment.

We were invited to a kid's birthday party at this restaurant and I had never heard of this place before. Walking in, we were the only family in the restaurant granted that it was early Sunday morning. There was a buffet. The tables had old grills on them that should definitely be removed if they're not planning on opening the barbecue part of the restaurant. Or, there should be nice covers on them because the grills look a little old. The food set up is in nice big pots and there was a variety of dishes from Indo-Chinese to Mughal items. There is also a lot of vegetarian options as well. Everything was so tasty and surprising. The butter chicken and chicken manchuria was scrumptious. The naan was served hot on our tables. The kids enjoyed the Lassi drinks and the adults enjoyed the chai. It was a little sweet for my taste so ask them to put a little less sugar. I'm writing this review after 3 days just make sure I didn't get sick from the food which can happen at most desi restaurants. I would definitely come back here for the food!

TANDOORI TAKE-OUT…read more Our preferred spot for Indian food has amazing butter chicken & tikka masala, even though we're not sure which is which. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Every 1-2 months, my wife and I--having exhausted the other options of sushi, pizza, gyros, and wings--find ourselves placing an order at Kababish. This restaurant is located on Hassert & Route 59 in Naperville, and although they've been in business for some time, I'm stunned that I'm the first to review them on Yelp. The chicken tikka masala ($15) and butter chicken ($15) are equally good, but never labeled--the yellow one is distinctly spicier and uses large chunks of white meat, while the red one is sweeter with strips of chicken. According to Google AI, however, butter chicken is milder and creamier, whereas chicken tikka masala uses more spices and has a reddish color. We still have no idea. Garlic naan ($3.50) is perfect for mopping up leftover sauce, and they're kind enough to include a small bucket of rice with each entrée. Some places have the stones to charge you for plain white rice, even though it's absurdly cheap, so I'm glad that Kababish doesn't play those games. My wife also usually orders a mango lassi ($5), a yogurt-based drink with cardamom. We've typically ordered through Grubhub, UberEats, or Doordash (with the occasional in-person pickup), but the few interactions I've had with the guy at the carryout counter have been friendly. * TL;DR * This unassuming spot in Naperville has some of the tastiest tikka masala out there. For a while, we went to Sara's Indian but when we realized they were ripping us off (white rice was extra), we started giving our business to Kababish and haven't looked back. Sometimes the spiciness level of the butter chicken changes, but the deliciousness doesn't. The Indian food here is tops, they've made us lifelong customers! Highly recommended.

The biggest issue was the payment process. The waiter handed me a portable payment device showing a total of $94.04 and immediately prompted me to select a tip amount. I chose 15%, bringing the total to $106.15. Only after asking for a receipt did I discover that an 18% service charge had already been added to the bill. I felt misled. The waiter should have first shown the full bill breakdown before presenting the tip screen. Charging an 18% service fee and then prompting customers for an additional tip without clearly disclosing it is not transparent. My party consisted of two adults and children, with the oldest being only 10 years old, which made the service charge even more surprising. The food itself was decent, although the portion sizes were quite small compared to other restaurants charging similar prices. Had the billing process been handled honestly and transparently, I would have overlooked the portion sizes. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning.
