Overall super fast service and lots of people here for lunch rush hour. The combo meals are super affordable and lots to choose from on the menu. I kept it simple and got the pizza puff lunch combo. I added the extra pizza puff to the combo and it was only $8.27 for two pizza puffs, fries, and a can of soda. Lots of seating space outside to enjoy your meal, and the establishment was clean. This place has hours online (that) they open at 10:30a. No hours were posted on the door. So...It was after 10:30a...they never opened. Someone came out to throw away trash - I asked when they open - he said "11a". I left and went to Joe's in Crest Hill....which was awesome. I went back by this Joey's Red Hot when it was 11:05a - the place (still) wasn't open. Stools in the window upside down etc. Lights off and the place still dark. I was super excited to try out this new place I'd heard so much about. I decided to go for a cheese dog and some hot wings, because why not? I got my food and couldn't wait to dig in, especially the cheese dog. When I got home, I opened up the wings first. They looked amazing and tasted just as good. So far, so good! Food is always good here....when they are open. The service is lazy. They arent supposed to close until 10pm. I was there at 920pm and was told that the grill was closed...fryers only. I was expecting a good burger and I got a very small thin piece of what I guess was hamburger but it was definitely not 100% beef. Although it had a good hot dog stand vibe to it the workers were very unfriendly and couldn't answer basic questions concerning the food since it was my first time there. Went there when the first opened, ordered the Italian Beef Sandwich, one of the worst beef sandwiches I ever ate. No flavor. Exceptionally bland. Tried the Gyros, again awful. Had onion rings that were fantastic. Today went in for an order of onion rings and was served a far inferior version of what I had the last time. The food here's very good, things like the Chicken Philly or the Maxwell Pork Chop are exceptional. The burgers and dogs are pretty standard. What isn't standard is the price, everything is substantially cheaper here, though I heard their prices were likely going up. I started coming back after about a year break and was pleasantly surprised how friendly the blonde girl taking orders was and how quickly the food came out. The short guy with sunglasses needs another profession because every time he's there it take twice as long for the food to come out and he's not friendly at all. I've actually walked out when I saw he was working and came back after a shift changed and the girl was working. Joeys management if you want happy and satisfied customers have that girl work everyday. Food comes out fast and she's a delightful person to chat with. This is your generic Burger n Dog place. Fast, tasty and priced like most places of the sort. You won't get any frills here but, service and food is on par. The outdoor seating area is well maintained, plenty of seating with several tables with umbrellas. Though it seemed most people that came and went as we had our lunch chose to take their food to go. i've been eating lunch and dinner at Joeys for the last 10 years, in Orland Park, and now the new store in Crest Hill. The food is great. The service is beyond great, and the people are so helpful and nice and I absolutely love Joeys. I would recommend JOEYS to everyone,if you haven't tried it, please do. I stopped in a couple days ago with a craving for a good hot dog. Trouble is, I still have that craving. I asked for two hot dogs with mustard and celery salt only. Ordered this under new management and recv'd a plain beef because he said he didn't understand my request. I asked if there was a special for 2 and old hag behind counter told me no special for 2 but had a special for 3 didn't want 3 but after she rang up 2 it was 1 penny cheaper than 3 hotdogs.
