Although the service was very good and the pizza hot, I was disappointed in the taste of the pizza. The sauce was very bland. I did however like the amount of cheese they put on their pizza. I probably won't order the pizza again. I will order from Michael's Pizza which is my families favorite. Absolutely ridiculous to offer a promotion and not plan for how busy it would be. It took over an hour to get ahold of someone on the phone, website was down, and then when we finally got ahold of them by phone they said they stopped the promotion at noon. So recently ordered from Rosatis and found out about the down sizing of the pizza sizes. A medium now is a 12 inch, a large is now a 14 inch and so on. So they downsized each pizza size but not the pricing. So now a medium size pizza actually cost what a large used to cost. How thoughtful to decrease the size of the pizza and at the same time increase the price. There are still many pizza places in the area that are true to the traditional sizes and are in tune to giving customers what they pay for unlike Rosati's. read more

Came in on my lunch break and I only wanted a tiramisu slice, I came back to work to take a bite of a frozen brick solid slice of tiramisu. I called in to see if there's anything that they can do and their response is that they serve frozen tiramisu to customers and I should come so they could warm my slice up. Unbelievable I could not believe they tried to say they serve frozen rock hard slices to their customers. I'm at work I can't bring this slice back I'm stuck with a brick hard piece with no attempt to even rectify their mistake. Waste of my money don't come to this establishment. read more

This place massively has gone downhill since the new management has taken over. We recently went for lunch, Rosatis has been one of the better places for Italian beef sandwiches, but what we got wasn't Italian beef, it was a regular beef sandwich with no seasoning on it and was incredibly disappointing, fries were undercooked and soggy. It used to be so good and now it's similar to me having ordered dominos or Pizza Hut.... it's just blah. You can just tell that everything is freshly made here. The sauce is great and certainly doesn't come out of a can. I tend to stick to the pizza but they have so much more here and great daily lunch specials too. I have had the fried chicken and several of the pasta dishes over the years. All being very good and so affordable. They only have a couple picnic tables out front and no room to dine in. Lots of love goes into the food here and it shows. Tonight i ordered a well done pizza with light sauce...and well done wings...what I received was a pizza swimming in sauce and the cheese wasn't even brown, the wings had flabby skin. So nothing I requested was done...I specifically repeated myself and said I didn't care how long it took...this will be a neighborhood restaurant that I will no longer frequent and that's a shame because I try to frequent local businesses. read more

I ordered by phone after specifically looking at the Rosati's of Romeoville website, and when my total seemed high, I asked why. The cashier said they raised their prices. Ummm...ok? I ordered a 16-in cheese pizza with one ingredient for $3 should have been $23 they charged me $31 I found a coupon and I called and they're not honoring your coupons anymore they said it was changed. $23 pizza with delivery is now $28 with a coupon I would say I love their pizza but pick it up yourself don't order delivery it's a lip off they don't honor their own coupons if one comes in the mail throw it out. We have always loved Rosatis food and have ordered from them for as long as we've lived in Romeoville (over 20 years). After tonight we will always continue to stand behind them as a great local spot! The call center had mistaken our order. When we called to double check what we actually wanted to order so it is ordered correctly the next time we ordered, they insisted they send us out the meal we intended to order even though it was not the restaurants mistake, and we were just looking to clarify for next time not looking to get a new orde, to begin with! This place has really ended our over 5 year relationship. We order the same pizza every 2 weeks and every time we order the price goes up. It started at around $25 for what they called the Fab-Four. In a few months that same Fab-Four went up to $28. Today I called and they no longer have the Fab-Four. So i ordered the same size pizza with only 3 ingredients and now it's $30, for one less topping. Recipe to me has changed..not for the good. Your paying premium prices for non fast food pizza you should expect a premium product. That hasn't been my experience since ownership change. I want to like this location. Their pizza is good. A lot of people like it. I'm not someone who can eat any pizza and be satisfied. I'm older, almost 50, and my pallet had changed. I don't taste flavors like I used to. This Rosati's uses the perfect ratio of cheese and toppings versus sauce. It's a tad greasy and good. I just ordered a chicken and pizza meal for a family gathering. I've done this a few times. Usually good. The last two times their chicken has been way over cooked. Instead of golden and tender it's brown and dry. Their chicken does not have a lot of meat which is fine but they have cooked it too long. I ordered two 8 piece dinners. That's $30 of dry, over cooked chicken. Edible but barely. I am going to let them know this. It would be very good if they didn't overlook it. I haven't tried their other dishes. read more

The food quality is good here, but the prices are a bit high to begin with. What makes it worse is they either charge "extra" for substitutions, or don't allow them at all. Nearly $10 for a shrimp special that comes with fries and mostaccioli (like I really need both), yet they won't let me sub bread or a pop for the pasta on Thursdays at all (other weekdays its 50 cents extra). Anyway, I've been a pretty steady customer (1-2 days a week), but I guess that makes no difference. I'll be taking (some) of my business elsewhere for awhile, to a place that shows their appreciation a little better. read more

Rosati's has been our favorite pizza place to order from for probably over 3 years now until our experience today. My husband and I LOVE their BBQ chicken pizza and get it probably once a month or every couple of months. We have ordered from the Lockport Rosati's and since we have moved to Romeoville over a year ago now the one on Weber road. Today we ordered their BBQ chicken pizza as we usually do. When we get the pizza we are surprised to find that there is pineapple on it? Now in our 3+ years of ordering the BBQ chicken pizza from Rosati's there has NEVER been pineapple on this pizza. I PROMISE because I have been obsessed with this pizza. My husband HATES pineapple so we paid 40 dollars for him not to eat it. I ate a slice and was noticing I could barely taste the sauce! The chicken was also SO dry. So I called and complained. The manager I spoke to was so unpleasant... I explained that I have been ordering for years and we had just recently ordered this BBQ chicken pizza probably about a month ago and not once has it come with pineapple. With MAJOR attitude she tells me that it has been like this for 20 plus years and it has never changed like I'm the crazy one... I also tell her I have never had a more dry pizza in my entire life and I had asked for extra sauce and she tells me that "There definitely was plenty of sauce I watched them make it..." After going back and forth she finally offers to bring me a BBQ chicken pizza with no pineapple and extra BBQ sauce but cuts me off in mid sentence to shut me up. Ordered a large pizza with wings last night around 7:30pm, they delivered at 8pm I noticed soon as they left that my buffalo wings I ordered were dry, over cooked, with absolutely no sauce. They weren't even edible. I called overr and over because it states on google that they close at 8:30. I also didn't have enough food to feed the 6 kids that were in the house. I called this am and spoke to Kevin a supposed manager. Very rude and dismissive. Told me that's how the BUFALLO wings come. Dry plain without sauce. So I asked why arre they called buffalo wings then? Then he says well we sometimes put them in sauce. I tell him at this point I want my money back and didn't call to argue. He says he will remake the food and I requested my money back. Keven told me that I had to pick up my money then. No apologies or sorry, just rude. So I paid the driver a tip, and paid for the deliver fee and Got something completely different than wHat I ordered/ paid for. Now I have to find a way to go get my money for the wings.
