Never tried it before and don't believe I will. Called to get pizza delivered at 924pm but wasn't sure of delivery distance. The employee answering the phone couldn't tell me either (hmmm)..... so I checked myself and called back at 931pm only to be told that their driver can't leave the store after 930. Went inside and ordered pizza to go (had an app while we waited). 45 minutes later, our pizzas were ready. Expected two ten inch pizzas. Got two 8-9 inch pizzas. The outside of the box was the only thing 10 inches about these pizzas (I measured). Fun atmosphere but food is not so great. Salad has no greens, just white lettuce. Pizza, (slices), not very fresh and strange crust. Sub was hot and meats were overcooked like bacon! Wings were SO salty, I couldn't take it, and the pizza crust tasted old . I worked in a similar restaurant for years, and I recognize that taste of a twice baked crust. Nice idea, but the crust doesn't taste fresh after that . It tasted like it had been sitting around for a while and was heated up in the oven for our order. The chicken tasted like canned; it was just weird. I'm sure they say everything is made 100% to order, but it didn't taste like that at all. I might try them out again with a different menu item. The first visit was just ok, Second visit with the same 4 people 2 couples. My wife and I ordered first the other couple 2nd. Our food came out 25 mins. apart ...... We came together right . The Owner told us it was because we had two tickets. And the waitress should have told the kitchen staff. Then the waitress told us it was the kitchens fault. Then the Philly had no flavor and the wings took so long I did not even eat dinner. Not real impressed with owner or staff a bit of a cluster. Needless to say we wont be going back!!! read more

Some of the worst service I've dealt with in the restaurant industry, I never take time out of my day unless I am genuinely upset. My 4 coworkers and myself stopped in after work, we are all from out of town, and they would not serve us wine or beer because we had out of state drivers licenses... I can understand their concern but at the same time a valid ID is a valid ID, secondly, they handle the situation very poorly, they lacked the common knowledge of customer curtesy. I literally just made a yelp account to make this review. This place was good about a year ago. Today on 4/13/18 i ordered a pineapple and bacon pizza, and received a pizza with barely anything on it but cheese. The service is great and the servers are all very friendly, but i feel like whoever cooked my pizza just laughed at my order. I MAY come here again but i doubt it. Cedarcrest Pizza Shack is awesome! The pizza and buffalo wings are the best I've found in the area and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality service and food you receive. My favorite is a pizza with 1 half pepperoni & peppercini, and the other half chicken/bacon/ranch. I'm not sure how they can do a pizza with half regular sauce and half with ranch base, but they've managed to perfect it. Like I previously mentioned, the wings are great, especially with the Sweet Heat sauce. It's the perfect combination of spicy and bbq. The calzones are also amazing. CPS also has a great beer selection and TVs everywhere you look in case you want to catch a game. If you sit at the bar, you can literally watch 8 different games at once if you're that much of a junky! I'm glad they just expanded into the space next door because CPS was starting to get too popular for their original size. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights means Pizza Shack is always a great place to meet up with friends and family no matter what's going on. read more

I am considerate that people have bad days, and people get busy and food is not always perfect which is why I ALWAYS give any establishment three chances before writing a poor review. HOWEVER, as much as it pains me to say it I WILL NEVER EAT AT PIZZA SHACK AGAIN! Negatives... Service, service and service... Situation #1- They were very SLOW this day so I thought I would have great service but the girl took 10 minutes to take our drink order, brought out the wrong salad, never refilled drinks, even when asked and took 15 minutes from the time we got our bill until the time she checked us out, but again... everyone has off days SO... Situation #2- Busy night, waitress took forever for order, pizza arrived 10 minutes before all the other food everyone ordered, our appetizer garlic knots came out AFTER all of our other food AND again... 15 plus minutes just wanting for her to take the bill... But the last time is what made me say NEVER again... I ordered a salad to pick up (because service is crap, but the food is okay) waited in line to pick up my to go order for... 10 minutes lets say to be nice. When I got to the counter I did not get so much as a "sorry for your wait" I get stuff comes up and things take time, but service is always nice... just acknowledge me as more than a problem for picking up my order... When I left I remembered I had forgotten to order a gift card so I go back in and wait and when the lady asked what I needed again I explained a gift card at which point she acted like I had just asked the WORST request... I could tell she was upset. She informed me I would have to wait, but I knew I needed to be at work shortly so I asked about how long to which she responded 5-10 minutes... I get that she was busy and it wasn't the wait SO MUCH although I did think that was a little much... It was the attitude like I was a pain for requesting the certificate... I was TRYING to support a local business and give their company as a gift... I left and bought my gift card at Johhnys which they were happy to do for me and fast and even offered me a drink while I waited. Anyway... Point to be is that I think a company should be kind to clients even when things are crazy... I could have respected a wait but when she acted like my business was a frustration for her.... That is fine... I can take it somewhere else. It is ashame... They do a lot for our community but I deserve a little more customer service than that. Went here for the first time for take out pizza. Bought a veggie and pepperoni pie and my family and I found it to be virtually tasteless. Like eating just some dough and not much more. Will not go back. I too am surprised how many higher ratings this place gets although I can't comment on service or the place itself, which looks nice inside. I ate here for the first time today. I ordered the meats pizza and had it delivered. The food arrived quick. The pizza was greasy, but tasted okay. I have tasted much better. I'm embarrassed for this place. Went there last night with my dad to split a pizza and salad. We got there at 5:30 PM and there was only a handful of tables. We sat there for probably a good 15 to 20 minutes with drinks before the server came back and took our food order. A short while later, Guests around that we're seated AFTER us started getting their food and around 6:40 there was still no pizza. The server came back and said that someone took our pizza to a different table and they are making another one on the fly. I told her that we could not stick around to wait for it because we had a 7 o'clock appointment and we needed to leave in no more than five minutes. She shrugged and said it wouldn't be ready by then and then gave us the check for the salad and a sweet tea. It's frustrating to me that we had to wait so long and an hour later the mystery of the pizza getting taken to another table was determined. I worked many years in food service so I understand that a busy night in a restaurant can lead to mistakes like this one happening. There really was no effort to rectify the situation which is what bothers me most. I still chose to tip her and was as polite as I could be but I will not go back here and I will not recommend it to anyone. read more

So disappointed! We have eaten at the Shack a few times since they opened. We were so excited for the new restaurant. The first time we ordered pick up, we have 3 small kids and the restaurant is very noisy. The food was amazing!! Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. The next couple of times the food was ok, the wait times were quite long, and it is very expensive. Tonight, I decided to give them one last try, hoping they had regained their glory. I can assure you they have not. The pizza was ok, but the wings we ordered were both super bland and spicy. They put the mild wings for my 9 yr old in the same box as the spicy teriyaki wings, with nothing separating them. The onion rings were a soggy mess, and the fries were disgusting. We had it delivered. It took an hour for delivery, which is fine for a Friday night, I would just expect my food to be remotely warm when it got here. We live less than a mile away. Just a tip Pizza Shack, if you're not able to deliver it for an hour, don't make right away. Everything was ice cold. Not sure that we will eat there again. read more

First time here and we all loved it. Ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and Italian sausage. Others ordered the "kitchen sink" pizza. I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and my daughter had Chicken Parmesan rolls. Additionally, we ordered french fries, onion rings and cheese wedges for appetizers for the table. Everything was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the "shack sauce" which is a Esperanza sauce (a creamy parmesan dressing) for dipping. Went today for lunch for the first time, and it was great! My husband discovered it the other day, so this was his second visit. $5 strombolis (at lunchtime) are deeeee-lish, and large enough to count for 2 meals, so you can't beat that deal! Looking forward to leftovers for dinner tonight, and already planning to go back often! Didn't realize at the time that it was a small, family owned business, so we're even more happy to support a local business. It's set in a shopping center kind of far back, so it's easy to miss. This place is very deserving of one star. The atmosphere is great, but the food.... Unbelievable bad, especially for a place that looks pretty cool. You would probably be safe with slightly overpriced beer. I wouldn't even feed my dog the food that was served to my family today. A salad that had toppings that were sitting in a refrigerator for at least 2-3 weeks, spaghetti that had noodles that went directly from the pot to the plate, because it was swimming in more water than marinara, and a chicken Stromboli that had slightly warmed canned shredded chicken. This place has great pizza! Im stuck on their buffalo chicken pizza. Its a great place for adults to drink but also kid friendly. The manager/owner is so sweet and is always concerned on how her customers are doing. One night I went with from friends and we sat on the patio outside. We were getting eaten up by mosquitos and even kept our menu to fan away the bugs. She came up to us and asked how we were doing and I told her that we were doing great but the bugs were awful. Not even 10 minutes later, an employee asked what scent of bug repellent candle we would like. Best costumer service and wonderful food and environment! read more

Terrible customer service. I'm down here with work and have an out of state ID. The server didn't feel comfortable judging it so she wanted to give it to her manager. Which is understandable but when it takes 30 minutes to find your manager. Then you reject a party of people all of which whom are from out of state. Mind you we are all well above the age of 21 and have full facial hard. The manager josh is an incompetent child. Whomever put him in charge of communicating with customers and judging valid IDs is a fool. You should seriously rethink whom you hire for serious positions in a company. read more
