I've been ordering from this location for the last few years, and the pizza is always great and very affordable. I was finally inspired to write a review tonight, though, when they went above and beyond with their service. First, I wanna preface this by saying that the people who work here are very chill, regular people who don't put on a fake customer service persona, which I personally appreciate. The dude who answers the phone is always straight to the point and makes it easy to get things done, like tonight when we realized our delivery driver had forgotten to get our drinks. As soon as we called and told them we didn't get them, she turned right around and brought them back. She was also really kind when she brought the pizzas up earlier too (: all was good until we discovered we also had no dipping sauce however, that was my fault; I thought I'd ordered some, but I pulled a typical annoying customer move and forgot to add them back to my line order when I had to restart it after the page closed on me the first time...so I felt pretty dumb when I called to ask about the sauces I didn't order despite that, a few minutes after that call, Pizza Shuttle called us back to let us know they'd be driving back by and we're gonna drop some sauces off anyway, free of charge! It was so cool. We sincerely appreciated them going above and beyond like that. It made our night! read more

Called to see if we could get pizza shuttle delivered....only to have the manager, Art, hang up on us after trying to understand why they can't deliver when Pizza Hut and Dominos will. Wasn't upset that they couldn't until the manager hung up on us for no reason and then refused to answer the phone afterwards. Here's to no more pizza shuttle...yall were one of my favorites. I used to order from yall all the time. So sad that this pizza will no longer be a part of my routine and that I am forced to support a big chain and not a local norman company. read more

Pizza Shuttle was one place I'd go, as I've always had good experiences with people being safe during the pandemic, but this is over the line. I didn't even know what to say. You drank a lot, you can't drive anywhere, you got the munchies so who do you call? SHUTTLE! It's Pizza Shuttle. You know what you're getting with Shuttle, and it's reliable. When I lived out of Norman I CRAVED the cheesy bread!! It's pretty cheap and like I said, reliable. I prefer it over most chain pizza places, like Hut and Dominoes. It's amazing when you're drunk :) The best thing there is a TBS. Turkey, bacon, Swiss, with lettuce, tomato and onion (no mayo for me) and (PRO TIP) ask for a couple sides of the Italian season in/oil & vinegar! It's a game changer. The herby sub is awesome also, kinda philly-esque but with roast beef and sautéed bell peppers and onions. It's warm and gooey and awesome. The gyro pizza, BBQ chicken, and margarita are my go to's. I loooove that they use slices of fresh Roma tomatoes instead of little chunks. Sometimes I just get a cheese and tomato pizza! And now I want pizza. OH! Order a chocolate chip cookie! Taking a order over the phone should not be this complicated. If I ask you for a item and I ask you to describe it and you give me a attitude while you do it and can't really tell me what it is you should not be working there. If I say I want Alfredo with chicken and broccoli it shouldn't be that complicated to add it to my check. You should not work there. If I give you a credit card number and you can't take 4 numbers at a time. You should not work there. I have been ordering form this shuttle for 4 years. I was a executive Cheff for 6 years and I am currently a business owner in Norman and I will no longer be ordering from them until they get it together. Also I was hung up on. When I get to heaven, I'm going to ask St Peter how many times I ate Shuttle in my life. 1000 constitutes a wheel twice a week for 10 years, so I'm probably near that mark. I like it. Open till 2AM. 3 on the weekend. Solid crust, good cheese, tangy sauce. The only thing that separates this pizza from really good New York pizza is the mystical contaminants of the East River water. HOWEVER... Most of my pizza eating career I've patronized the Lindsey store- same ingredients, different ovens, different dough slingers. I moved to the east side, a stones throw from the east side Shuttle, and the first few times I ordered pizza from the Alameda store, it made me want to cry. It looked like someone had taken my favorite pizza out of the oven when it was half baked and sprinkled flour on the crust. So now I order my pizzas "well done" which seems to take care of my complaint, nay, my observation that east side Shuttle doesn't cook their pizzas to the same standard as the Lindsey store, and even then, sometimes my pie looks like they either didn't bother to read my order or they just really don't give a hoot about my pizza happiness. There's one employee whose name I keep meaning to ask. It's getting ridiculous that I only know him in my head as "the nice guy," but I bet money if you call the store a lot too, you know who I'm talking about. There were 2 nice guys for a short while, and at that point I thought to myself now I really have to ask "the nice guy" what his name is, but I haven't seen or talked to nice guy #2 for a while, so... sorry, "the nice guy." Cheap but good alternative to large pizza chains - nice menu selection. Their pizza is cheaply made, and their facilities are kinda nasty, but two things give this place some serious value to me - price and selection. You can make a custom pizza with any of 4-5 sauces and about 30 toppings to choose from. And they LOAD the pizza with your topping selections. They also have decent subs and non-typical sides for a pizza joint, in addition to standard garlic bread & cheesy bread. It's a nice break from the big chains anyway. By the way, Shuttle is delivery & take out ONLY. There are a couple tables at one location (Lindsey St), but it's too nasty inside to enjoy yourself. Finally, for those you care, it is interesting to learn the Pizza Shuttle story. It was originally an OU student project for an economics class, but they now have like 3-5 locations. Likes: Great menu selection & low prices. Their typically fast service helps too. Food isn't bad and can be quite good if you know how to order. Dislikes: Facilities are kinda nasty, but luckily it's pretty much carryout and delivery only. Not gourmet quality, but tasty enough anyway. Ordered a special treat for myself tonight to celebrate the end of a rough project. Big mistake! Pizza Shuttle-Norman (east side) took almost an hour for food to arrive. (I live less than 10 minutes away.) Drink wasn't completely filled. I asked for a replacement and sent the cup back with the delivery driver. Replacement took almost another hour and was left on my porch despite instructions not to do so. It was just as empty as the original cup. Called the store and spoke with manager. He not only didn't apologize for the crappy service tonight, but also gave me instructions on how I should talk to him. I hung up on him when he told me that I could call the home office "to bitch if I wanted to". As I told him, I've worked at more than one pizza place. I know what it's like to be slammed on a game day. I know what it's like to be short cooks, drivers, or both...on a game day. I've been that person answering the "angry customer" call when you've got six lines of calls on-hold, you're trying to get orders out the door, and walk-in customers are at the counter in front of you. I would've been happy if he had just said, "I'm sorry about the level of service you received tonight". I didn't ask for a store credit. I didn't ask for another drink to be sent to me. That wasn't what I wanted. This isn't the first time I've had problems with this store. But the manager has always been nice to me and fixed the problem one way or another. I think this review needs two parts-food and customer service. Because I'm nice, I'll start out with food. I have never had anything from pizza shuttle I didn't like-this time being no exception. I ordered a mozzerella pocket, cheesy bread and an Italian sub for the man. The food was delicious. The mozzerella pocket is basically a calzone, but for 4.99 you can't beat it. The crust was the perfect blend of crispy and chewy and the pepperoni was delicious. The cheesy bread was perfect as usual. Just the right amount of cheese(probably too much, but good for me)and yummy marinara. I didn't taste the Italian sub, but was told it was awesome. Now for the customer service part. I usually call in orders, but this particular time I happened to already be in the area when we decided to have pizza shuttle. So, I opted to just walk in, order and wait. No big deal. Nobody met me at the counter to begin with-I had to peek my head over into the back and catch somebody-all the workers were eating. When the girl came over to the counter she was nice and very knowledgable of the menu, but certainly not over-accomodating. When I finished my order she asked if I was waiting, I told her yes, I'd just sit here, and she informed me it would be 11-15 minutes because the mozzerella pocket usually has to be baked twice(or whatever they do). No big deal at all. So there I sit, watch two other customers come in and order, and sit some more. After about 22 minutes, one of the customers I'd watched place an order came back and got his stuff.... The worker who helped him kind of looked at me funny, so finally I spoke up and told him my name for my order. Well, go figure that I watch him in that big security mirror in the corner-everything was ready but nobody had bothered to hand the order out. That really made me mad. The guy didn't really care, but I didn't raise a big fuss, either. I guess when you know you are getting greasy food at a cheap place you can't expect good service. Absolutely unprofessional. My boyfriend and I just picked up our order of 2 small pizzas and a sprite. My boyfriend went in to pay. He asked for no ice at first then changed his mind to light ice on the sprite, the cashier asked if he wanted light ice or no ice, and told him that if he wanted no ice then it would be $0.25 more because they are putting more soda in the cup. I find this absolutely insane! We have already paid for our drink, a sprite, not ice, so why is this a thing? They are robbing you people! My boyfriend also asked for ranch, he ended up getting a total of four, which all cost $0.50 per ranch, the cashier told him that they pay $0.28 for them so they charge $0.50. It's not like these things come out of this guys paycheck. In all of the years that my boyfriend and I have gotten food/drinks from Pizza Shuttle this has never happened to him or I. We love Pizza Shuttle and order from them often. We love their food, but I just recieved my order from the Alameda location and it is wrong. I ordered an HBS which is how it is worded ON THE MENU . I recieved some weird sandwhich . I called and instead of correctly the issue they argued with me and said I ordered the sandwhich given. I have never even heard of a herby sandwhich before. Delivery can get expensive so I recommend calling in your order and picking it up. The spaghetti with meatballs is also really good if you aren't wanting to get pizza. I've lived in Norman for a long time and I've always loved pizza shuttle, but lately it's been awful. Specifically the one on west Lindsey. Two times now I've ordered pizza with easy sauce and when I've gotten it it was loaded with sauce and the cheese wasn't even melted. Last time I got a pizza with mushrooms it looked and smelled like they were just piled on after the pizza was cooked. It's been flavorless. Last time I tried to use a coupon, for pick up it was $9.74 for a large 3 topping for specialty pizza, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and they told me I couldn't use the coupon cause it wasn't 3 toppings. That was the first time in 15 years that's ever been said to me. Who can't use a coupon when you're getting less? I don't understand. I probably won't be going back anytime soon, next time I want shitty pizza I'll just go to dominos. read more

I am a norman north student. Me and a couple of students in GEMS club where hosting a magic show for 5th graders. so for lunch, we decided for pizza shuttle. I called them and ordered did all the process I didn't know the address so the lady on the phone said CALL ME BACK WHEN YOU HAVE IT AND HUNG UP. then I called back and complained about it and they said SO WHAT. Until today Pizza Shuttle was the only place I would order pizza in Norman. We ordered pizza last night so we could eat it today for lunch after a night out. We ordered a Chicken Alfredo pizza with NO mushrooms as I have an allergy. When I woke up and grabbed the pizza out of the fridge, I took a huge bite out of said pizza only to find it covered in mushrooms. Immediately spitting it out, taking a Benadryl and waiting anxiously to see if I have a reaction my husband calls to talk to the manager. To our shock my husband is told to call back tonight and there was nothing he would do about our complaint. "Bob" then proceeds to accuse my husband of trying to scam the company in hopes of a free pizza. Are you kidding me?! Your company messed up an order so badly that it could harm a person, we call to tell you about it, and we are accused of theft? For a $7 pizza??? If this is how you feel, it's probably best to not tell your customers you think they are trying to scam you. It's not a very professional way to run a business. We like to keep our business local, but after today it looks like we will just make the drive to Moore for Eagle One pizza where you're not treated like a criminal. read more

I just called to place a delivery order and was immediately put on hold....that's fine, I understand that they are busy. The pizza guy got back on the phone and asked what i wanted...in those exact words. I explained that i would like to place an order for delivery and that i had a coupon for "1 large specialty pizza plus 1 large 2-topping pizza for $20.56 + tax". He said, "Fine, but it wouldn't be the price." I asked how much it would be and he replied, "I dunno". I then asked if the coupon was not good and he said that it depended on what i ordered. I explained that i wanted to order exactly what the coupon stated. He said, "Fine, what do you want?" His tone during our brief interaction was very short and rude, so i told him that I didn't believe that i would order after all and i asked for his name. He hung up on me. Geeze....i only wanted to order pizzas. Very sad that Pizza Shuttle has such a lousy and miserable employee projecting their attitude on their customers.
