First time I've been back here since 2018. When I worked in Norman this was usually a monthly place to hit. Not like I remembered, I think they changed their pizza dough. I still liked the pizza but I could tell it wasn't the same. Service could have been better, we ordered at the counter and not quite sure when our pizzas were actually ready! I love Pizza Shuttle! I go there every time I am in town, particularly for the cinnamon bites (formerly cinnamon fingers). The pizza, cheesy bread, and Boomer shroomers are also excellent. The staff are kind of quirky/edgy, think tats and unkempt hair, but always nice and fun to chat with. I generally take out as there is a pretty small eat-in area. read more

Leaving this review for my grandmother. She ordered from here 4 weeks ago, she asked if they could break a $100 dollar bill and they said no I'm a very rude manner and hung up. If they were nicer about it we wouldn't have cared. We've at her for the last couple of years we love the food here. But if they are going to be hateful we can take our business to much cheaper pizza places that don't taste that much worse. It has been a while since I've ordered from PS (Lindsay street location) and wow their quality has gone downhill. Ordered a large thin crust cheeseburger pizza, cinnamon fingers, and a slice of carrot cake. First off, the pizza was cold by the time it got here, and I live only 5 minutes from that location. The "large" was the size of a medium anywhere else and it was kind of bland. The cinnamon fingers were cold and dry, when they used to be warm and swimming in butter (as they should be), and the carrot cake slice was *maybe* 2/3 the size that you used to get. I don't know what's happened but that was not the Pizza Shuttle that I remember from last year. I ordered from them because they're the only place that still makes a cheeseburger pizza but what I got wasn't worth what I paid. Doubt I'll be ordering from them again. read more

Listen, we've all been there... You're traveling north on I-35, it's after midnight and you're hungry. You're coming up on Norman and running through the available options of things that are open at this ungodly time of night. All of the sudden Pizza Shuttle comes into your head! That just happened to be the scenario of my last visit to Pizza Shuttle. I pulled up Yelp, gave them a call and placed my order for a small SuperShuttle. 10 minutes later I pull up hand them a $10 bill and even get change back. You can't beat that. Plus I got to stuff my face with delicious Pizza Shuttle Pizza! I'm not sure if their Pizza is as good during the day because I've only ever had it between the magical hours of between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. It is always quick, easy and convenient. I will not give the details on how we found our way here, but it sure was an adventure. My rating is just average due to the things I witnessed during the long time I spent here. Partially waiting for food and the other for an Uber. First, we walked here all the way from campus. I know, crazy. When we got here we ordered one meatball provolone sub, a cheese bread, and a coke. The service was friendly and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. I'm not sure if it is always like this or it was just the time and night that we were there, but it was quite the experience. Perhaps the issue is you shouldn't spend more that 5 minutes in any pizza joint. While we were here there was a huge beetle like insect just walking around. People saw it and didn't even care. I think someone whistled at it like it was a stray dog or something. Due to the late hour there were a few 4th meal patrons. This is fine, but considering they drove to get here it was a little disturbing. They were talkative and uncomfortably a little aggressive. Granted we were wearing Ohio State gear and we just beat them pretty bad so it could have been worse. There were a couple scuffles outside and some shouting. All in all it was sketchy. It was safer than walking down the country side roads in Oklahoma though. There are a few tables and chairs to sit, but like I said, don't spend more time here than you need to. I get it -- college students in Oklahoma probably think McDonald's is a great hamburger, so this place is probably good. But it is basically whatever CostCo sells on to a sandwich or pizza. (Evident by their jars of Alfredo sauce in plain view.) Maybe the pizzas were better than my boring sandwich, but it was very lackluster. I've been ordering from Pizza Shuttle since 1980, and it was my preferred pizza in Norman. Today I got a really pathetic excuse of a pizza. It was made with the kind of premade crust you can buy at Homeland or on Amazon. Don't know if they intend to keep using this because of shortages (labor or supply), but I will not attempt to order anything from here again. A Norman, and particularly campus, classic. Shuttle delivers good pizza and subs, and usually promptly. There are lots of coupons available just about everywhere; notably in the phone book and online. A great deal of Shuttle is delivered late at night, after you've been out for the evening. While I'm not in college anymore (and haven't been for a long time), I do recall fondly those late night Shuttle orders.... I typically get the thin crust over the regular or thick. But, I'll get any of them depending on the mood. The go to sub for me is the TBS: turkey, bacon and swiss. I always add the Italian dressing. It's wrapped in foil and even when delivered, the lettuce stays crispy. Is it the best pizza you've ever had? Nope, and not the best sandwiches either. But, they are consistent, deliver quickly, and offer a lot of options for ordering. I ordered them as a college kid, and I continue to order them as adult. I've been eating Shuttle for over 20 years. When I was a kid, my friend and I used to mow lawns and spend all of our earnings ordering Pizza Shuttle. The good: there's something about the pizza and subs here that is just really tasty and hits the spot. Shuttle uses a unique pizza sauce that's thick and has tasty spices. The subs are served on rolls baked daily by La Baguette (note: if you order a sub on Sunday, the bread is baked from refrigerated dough but any other day it's bread baked at La Baguette's bakery). The bad: Not the cleanest place in the world. I remember when I was a kid, my Mom and I went into the Robinson St. location to pick up a pizza and some guy hopped up on the counter where they were rolling out the pizza dough, ran his fingers through his greasy, long hair, and said "man, I need a shower." Everything gets cleaned with weak pink dish detergent. That said, it's never made me sick. Also, when you order a pizza with beef on it, they put clumps of raw, cheap ground beef on top which cooks when the pizza does, leaving a nasty, greasy mess. This is a pizza place in a college town for college kids. They deliver to the dorms and all around Norman until late in the night/early in the morning. A lot of people live on this pizza throughout college and it has a huge following because of it. Definitely in a class of it's own and a lot of Normanites/OU alumni I know think it is a class above the rest. Things may have changed since I last had it back in 2008, so I'll have to do some testing when I go to back this fall for a football game. read more
