Went to my fav pizza place after being out of town for a few weeks. The service was fantastic as usual. However, everything was different. The crust was one of the many reasons I loved the pizza. All the way through, no crust was ever left! It would pair well with the chicken salad as well, like a breadstick! The calzone was NO WHERE near what it used to be! The breading was thin and zero flavor. They used to be loaded and I could eat a small one in two sittings sometimes! Not this one, Very little ingredients in the middle and absolutely none on the ends only bread! The street tacos were not as good either! That was the best part I guess! It was such a disappointment! I will really miss eating here. Please know all the prices listed on yelp are incorrect per the owner. We were charged an extra $25 for 3 pizzas and tacos. They were for a party we were headed to and we didn't have time to go somewhere we else. My 18 year old didn't know any better, they paid the bill thinking it would be correct. When I called in to question it, I was told there's nothing that can be done. The reason is they don't own yelp. So, taking our business elsewhere moving forward. I recommend they provide itemized receipts in the future, and post their prices. read more

Everything we ate was so good! It's 100% a Hole-in-the-Wall. We ate inside and seating was Very limited. The owner was there and was super friendly. He brought us some free carne asada to try. He said if we don't like any of the food, we don't have to pay for it. That was comforting. We ordered pizza and tacos. The small pizzas were only $5! Perfect for 1 person. They were very tasty and the crust was deliciously soft with a slight crunch. The tacos were traditional street tacos and hit the spot. I highly recommend the salsa verde. It was very mild but flavorful. I even ended up dripping my pizza crust in it, it was so good. I really wish this place was closer to where we live. We would come here all the time! Just tried this place for the first time and it was great! We got a small pepperoni pizza and some hot wings. The wings very really tender and the pizza tasted great and had a softer crust. Seems to be a small (Italian?) family running the place. The gentleman that helped me was really nice. I will take his suggestion to get mild-hot on the wings next time! The hot WAS hot lol. It is limited seating, order at the counter, and low profile (aka hole-in-the-wall). Don't let that fool you though, the food is excellent, especially at that price. Being new to the state/area and wanting to branch out from our usual pizza joint, All American, we decided to try Fat Daddy's based on YELP reviews even though it's a little further from our home. Yelp. You have failed me for the first time. We did not have tacos, so I cannot speak to that or the gyros and other foods the advertise on their shop window- maybe those items are better! This review is JUST for the pizza. We called a pick up order in and the lady who "helped" us was not helpful. When asking if something could be upgraded for a cost (adding a topping) she told us no and they don't have/do that combination. Okay, no problem. So we ask what she thinks is the best there, and home girl proceeds to tell us she "doesn't eat anything from here" so she didn't know. THIS IS WHEN WE SHOULD HAVE STOPPED AND ORDERED ELSEWHERE. We go on to order a basic pepperoni/sausage pizza with cheese sticks and a chef salad. Got there in the 10 min quote we were given. All is well. Y'all, I've never spit out pizza before, but today was a day of firsts. For an easy to read recap, the negatives of our experience is as follows: - Cheese bread was not fresh, with absolutely no seasoning. No garlic. No oregano. Nothing. Crust was dense and harder than expected for a cooked to order item. None of the cheese on the pizza nor cheese bread was stringy and stretchy as you want in a quality cheese. Just snapped/broke. A disappointment for me, a cheese lover. - Pizza sauce and in itself was sickeningly sweet. Dessert food sweet. After testing the marinara that came with the cheese sticks we could confirm it was the sauce. Originally I thought I had a bad first bite- but all were this way. - The chef salad we ordered with ranch came with cups of sour cream?? I am just confused here. -Service wasn't bad, but not helpful nor a good representation of the brand. Based on our call, we should've just hung up and gone elsewhere. I have heard about this place and finally had the pleasure of going. It is worth your visit. The place is small and truly meant for carry-out, but there are a couple of tables for dine-in. The feel is rather like a small pizza joint back east. Staff is friendly, helpful, and quick. It's a popular place and growing in popularity. You might find the phone line busy when trying to call in an order, but keep trying or, better yet, just drop in personally to place your order. I had a pizza (Fat Daddy's Special) and sampled a carnitas taco (pulled pork). The taco was delicious with good meat, a bit of onion, and salsa (both red & green). The pizza was really good. I'm told the new owner has significantly improved on the quality. The crust was excellent. It was between thin and the standard thickness of what most typical pizza joints call "traditional, hand tossed. I really like that because I think most pizza places have a crust that is too doughy. The ingredients are quality and the taste was excellent, a pleasant balance of sweetness from the sauce and saltiness from the toppings. And it was not a long wait from placing order to being served. I highly recommend this place. I look forward to future visits and making a meal of the tacos as well as getting around to trying the wings and the gyro. It seemed that most customers who came in while I was there were very pleased repeat customers. That's a good sign. You won't be disappointed. read more

Everything that was great about Fat Daddy's Pizza remains the same but seriously...that pizza sauce is way too sweet, y'all. Whoever's in charge, please find a remedy for this because it's turning into a sore point whenever I recommend you for pizza night. Maybe your customers like the sauce like this and I'm just crazy but, for me, it's turning into the only thing I remember about your pizza. And I don't want to only remember your sauce, because your service is great, your tacos are tasty, and your crust is amazing and unlike anything I've had in OKC. Chewy, soft, caramelized, etc. describes that beautiful dough more than ever before, but it's getting overshadowed by large amounts of sugar. We tried some cajun wings last time I carried-out and, while they were tasty enough, I can't imagine I'd get them again based solely on price. They're good, but imho not worth the price. Try them out and decided for yourself, dear reader. I'd still highly recommend them for pizza and tacos, but with a bit of warning in regards to the former's sauce. read more

This is a neighborhood pizza shop that also has salad, gyros and calzones. Large pepperoni pizza only took 10 mins on a Friday night! Cost $11 what a deal and I must say I've had lots of pizza from high end shops and the delivery places and this pizza rates at the top of them. Great quality, not greasy, homemade type ingredients! You hardly notice it when you walk past. I was pretty hungry, and I was meeting someone for lunch, so I went ahead and ordered a gyro and a small supreme pizza. While I was waiting for the other person, I ate a bite of the pizza, and it was amazing. The gyro was great, too. I could hear my friend perfectly, and there weren't a lot of disruptions, the environment was a 10/10! Their delivery service is free so I would highly recommend it because the food is ready in less than ten minutes and the drive is quick. We were excited to try this place! After calling for an hour almost and getting no answer or a busy signal we have to drive up there to place our order. We tried to order wings on 2 occasions and they were always out of them =( but we ordered the gyros.. the meat was cut nice and thick and the pita was fluffy. The cucumber sauce was not good though. We ordered delivery Sunday night: pepperoni pizza with extra sauce, all meat calzone, and even more extra cups of sauce. We were told it would be about 30-40 minutes. Neither of us had ordered from here, but I went off the suggestions of other Yelpers, and boy, were they right! It was probably about 20 minutes when the doorbell rang. The majority of our crew wanted pizza, but it wasn't unanimous. This led to a search for places that offered both pizza and other options. We were nearly resigned to a bland chain (looking your way Pizza Hut) when we stumbled across this place based on its stellar yelp reviews. Half of us ordered pizza and the other half ordered gyros, and everyone wound up very happy with their food. As a bonus, the price was much lower than I would expect for the quality/volume. In addition to the tasty and reasonably priced food, the service was great. The woman working the counter seemed to be working alone, and she was extremely gracious and friendly both on the phone and in person. This place is so easy going! The owner found out we were new customers and gave us a sample the fresh carne asada he uses on the tacos. We are from Kansas and have a lot of authentic Mexican restaurants and this was probably the best carne asada I've had. They only have 3 tables about 8 chairs so I'd recommend getting it to go or delivery just in case there isn't enough room. We got 4 tacos ($1.50 each) a large meat lovers pizza and 5 wings for $23! Amazing pizza and staff! I usually go to All American Pizza because it's closer to my apartment but they were already closed. I called Fat Daddy's at 8:35pm and they had the pizza ready quickly and didn't seem upset that I called right before they closed. The staff was kind on the phone and in person. $15 for two large pizzas. I was very surprised how good the pizza was for the price. read more
