Our info is so outdated. Pizza Soul is no longer in Sugarbush Village, but in Waitsfield, in the Village Square Shopping Center next to Mehurons (our go to for good bread from local bakeries, local cheese, and generally well-priced, high quality animal proteins), near Tempest Book Shop (amazing, so amazing -- needs its own review soon), Canteen Creemee, and Mad Taco. The Internet tells me it's been in the "new" location since 2019. =) We left the mountain early on a day when ski conditions were pretty bad even on the way-out trails that sometimes have some powder on them even when nothing else does. We're lucky to have a lot of good ski days in our year and didn't feel obligated to ski in such awful conditions. Ordered a large pizza for pickup in 20 minutes around lunch time and were told that the place gets slammed around this time of day, at this time of year. After puttering about Sugarbush Village for a bit we realized we were in the wrong place and drove to the "new" location at almost exactly the 20 minute marker for pickup. The pizza was just as we fondly remembered: a great balance of oregano-forward sauce and not-overly-high-brow mozzarella, and a generous amount of pepperoni / toppings on a slightly more cracker-like crust than NYC-style pizzas. My family of pizza snobs likes, but does not rave about, this place. read more

been trying to try the place, about 20 minutes away and has been too busy last couple times I tried. I really liked that the guy didn't scoff at my " no cheese" request and he did a great job with the pie, no burning of broccoli Big pie too! Awesome thin crisp crust! Never open cant depend on this establishment to be open when they say theyre gonna be. Plus the dough is always to thin and bland. This is not a New York style pizzeria ! Hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had! We got the VT vibes and we substituted the game for mushrooms and it was amazing! The owner is a certified Waitsfield culinary and cultural icon, and he slings the best pie in central Vermont. Try the Symphony in C for a life-affirming exercise in dairy. We are vacationing and has just arrived at our rental Sunday afternoon. I was not wanting to go out. Just eat in and relax for the evening. I think it is one of the very few pizza places close. They are lucky to have such a good place. The pizza is a New York style. It was cooked perfect. The tons were just enough. The sauce has a lot of flavor. A really good pizza!! We were getting together with another family and wanted to do some takeout. We called a few other restaurants around 4pm and they were telling us that it would be 9pm before they could make our food. We took a chance on Pizza Soul and it worked out great. They were able to turn our order around in an acceptable amount of time and the pizza was good, which for the Sugarbush area is great. My only criticism is that the crust was a bit bland, but it's not a deal breaker. We're glad that we have them as another option for takeout. read more

This guy runs out of pizza at 7:00 pm. Don't waste your time. Called several times but he kept saying he might run out. I guess he's not capable of baking more pizza. My family would have spent $100. We ended up getting frozen pizza as nothing else was open or doing take out. read more

It a local pizza stop at the Sugarbush Village. As far as I can tell, it is being run and prepared by the single owner. I know that he has some help some times but hang in there- the pizza is worth the wait. Often when you call to place an order it will be at least 30 mins before the pizza you have ordered is ready. Why is that? Because it is all being made fresh, right then and there, and that's honestly the only way to eat pizza. They have some awesome and unique flavor combinations so make sure to check out the menu. I am personally a fan of the VT vibes. read more

Really didn't think I'd find such a great pizza place on the side of a mountain in Vermont, but the owner here puts his heart and "soul" into the pies. The output it a huge 18" thin crust that has great proportions of crust to cheese to sauce (which is quite good). Now in his third year, it's a perennial favorite of mine. The only thing this place needs is more hired help so the poor guy has a moment to breathe. read more

Is this place ever open? Seriously? We've lived in Warren for over a year and the 6 or so times we've attempted to call no one picks up. Yelp says they're open. No answering machine with hours (easy enough and would be helpful). Why does every business around here have such wackadoo times they're actually open!? I miss Bongiorno's. Wanted some pizza and found this little place and thought I'd try it out with my dad. We ordered the 'mo-stax' meat lovers pizza ($21). For $7 more than the cheese pizza we expected there to be loads of meat on it, however there was scarcely three things of any meat per slice. The pizza itself wasn't the best pizza I have ever had but when you are hungry it can get the job done. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you really want pizza and don't feel like picking up a frozen one to cook yourself. Overall I probably will not order from here again, the pizza we got was not even close to be worth the cost. read more

We got two pies, the Symphony in C (amazing flavor) and a half cheese/half pepperoni. The crust was really perfect - just the right thickness and crispiness. The toppings and sauce were also excellent. I would highly recommend and think we've found a new pizza place when we visit. Good pizza but owner could do a better job of estimating how long it takes to make a pizza. Like for instance tonight when we placed an order and were told it would be 90 minutes. When we finally walked over to pick it up, we were told it would take an additional 20-25 minutes because he hadn't even started our pizza yet. No thanks! read more
