I have been enjoying Leonardo's pizza for years when my kids were little even now and their adults.

Very expensive for mediocre pizza. Ordered from a free pizza coupon from a welcome to Burlington packet. Wanted to order more stuff but the menu is pretty much just pizza. The Maine Potato Pie was a roll of the dice and it turned out to be red onion pizza because that's all you could taste. Going to have to try more spots around the area. read more

I'll give two stars because the cheesy breadsticks were good! But the fact that they serve it with COLD tomato sauce is ridiculous!! And the lady on the phone could have cared less! What chef serves cold sauce with warm breadsticks! Where is the warm sauce held 140-160 degrees?? She was so rude talking about its kept in the fridge because we make it fresh.. Like I am the dummy!! Oh and not ONLY is the sauce cold, its served in a 4oz. PLASTIC container so you can't even heat it up in a microwave! NOT a fan!! read more

I've had Leonardo's in both Maine and Vermont, it's absolutely amazing, Deliciousness to say the least!!!! I've never gone into any location because I've always had it delivered but their service is prompt and professional. Even while ordering over the phone, their customer service is phenomenal. I was incorrectly charged once and they gave me a full refund and the pizza/ wings were on the house! That's customer service at its finest! read more

We ordered ahead online and set our pickup time for 5:30pm. When we arrived the pizza was not ready, the person told us it would be on the blue shelf where orders are placed for pickup. We left for about 10 minutes and on return the pizzas were still not on the blue shelf pick up area. We waited a few more minutes and after asking again the worker said she forgot that our 3 pizzas were sitting in the back. Almost 30 minutes late and waiting to bring home 3 cold pizzas. I was in town on business and arrive at my hotel in the evening. Leonardo's was very close and I was hungry. The business was pretty busy with take out orders. Staff were friendly and the place appeared organized and clean. I ordered a Thai chicken pizza and it was great. Hot, as described and I especially liked the crust. Very good pizza - I ordered half fennel sausage gourmet and half margherita. I was very surprised there wasn't an upcharge to split the flavors and it actually looked encouraged while ordering. I got thin crust and requested 8 cuts and it was perfectly crispy. Delivery driver was also nice. The highlight was the margherita half - great cheese and perfectly cooked tomatoes. Slightly on the expensive side but, obviously, pizza is more than worth it. Also, I ate the whole thing before I could take a picture but it looked as good as it tasted. read more

What a disappointment ! I have been a fan of Leonard's pizza for years . On August 15, 2023 , I ordered a meat lover's revenge pizza from the Williston location. The pizza was a disaster. The pizza sauce was nothing more than lumps of tomato paste, heavy and salty, hardly any varieties of meats that my family is used to it looked like slices of salami all over the pizza. The pizza was not cut properly, so by the time it arrived, it was really hard to cut and separate the slices. We ended up composting most of that pizza. read more

Have moved out of State, came to VT for visit, and could not wait to have my favorite Leonardo's Greek Island again. This pizza did not disappoint! The wheat crust is fantastic. I swear I could eat it everyday, and it would not get old! Highly recommended! read more

This is a local pizza chain that is only found in Vermont and Maine. It's sort of a hybrid between California pizza kitchen and your typical "pizza." They've got a lot of specialty pizzas such as Thai chicken, barbecue chicken, and buffalo chicken, and much more. So it's not your typical tomato sauce with cheese and sausage kind of place. However if that is your thing, you can get that here as well. What really stuck out to me was their whole wheat crust which they offer for only $.50 more. It's the best whole wheat crust I've ever had. Super crunchy and flavorful without the guilt, or at least most of it. They've got a ton of sauces and toppings to pick from but honestly I think the best pick is the Thai chicken pizza. The Thai peanut sauce is on point, if you pair it with a thin crust, it really hits the spot. I also really like their garlic olive sauce that they use for some of their specialty pizzas in lieu of the tomato sauce. read more

Well, we fell for them again, and got burned again. We ordered a single pizza at 630 on a Monday night and it took an hour and a half to get delivered. The order said 50 min, which is too long for pizza in general. An hour after the order I received an email that said it was on the way. We live maybe 8-10 min from the store and it still too 30 additional minutes to get our lukewarm pizza. I get that they're understaffed. If you can't offer your customers proper delivery service, then cut it. I'd much rather have them say takeout only than lie about delivery times than receive cold food. We're not falling for them again, no matter how many coupons they send. read more

Extremely friendly staff and a unique selection of pizzas. The nine feet under was the favorite of the four we tired during our visits. The baked wings were excellent ( ask for hot tossed in buffalo sauce ). The Nutella bread was also very good. Overall a pleasant surprise, I look forward to visiting in the future. read more

The bomb cyclone was coming and we were in desperate need of somewhere we could grab an early dinner and get safely to our hotel to hide out...this happened to be on the way and well-rated, so we thought we'd try it! And indeed, it was a good choice - the pizza was hot and ready on time, and quite tasty! We got the veggie and a half pineapple-onion, half hot honey minus the pepperoni (two larges for four people, plus a basic salad) and all were well received. The only real critique was that the hot honey wasn't very hot-honeyed. My family and I ordered pizza and boneless wings from here last week for my birthday. The pizza here was great and I love the fact they have anchovies available as a topping. I heard the boneless wings here were great but mine were tough. I heated some up the next day and they were more tender. They could have been a little on the cold side when I got back home which is why they were tough. I'd definitely order pizza again here but probably pass on the boneless wings. read more

Was looking to go to to Pizza Hut, but insted ended up in the parking lot of this hidden gem. From the get go we could tell that this place was going to be incredible. The way that the workers tossed the pizza like it was nothing was mesmerizing. The performance they put on was incredible. When we finally ordered, we were faced with a vast variety of options, each looking more appealing than the last. At the end we made the tough desision of a plain medium pizza with a side of garlic breadsticks. Best. Decision. Ever. They made quick work of the order without any blemishes to the quality. We got it perfectly cooked and oven-hot and fresh. We had high hopes based on the looks and the pizza certainly did not disapoint. Every square inch of that italian masterpiece was overflowing with flavor and elegant texture. The breadsticks were equally as delicious. They had the perfect crunch and when paired with cool, soothing marinara sauce had the perfect balace of flavor and provided a magical feeling inside your mouth. It was as if there was a raging party inside our bodies throughout the whole experience. This was definitely some of the best pizza we have ever had the pleasure of tasting and we are sad to say we will likely never be able to reach this apex of flavor again, or at least for a very long time. Disappointed. I did a preorder. I ordered at noon, expecting it to deliver at 6pm. At 6:15 I was still waiting, and at 6:20 I called them and they told me they were very busy and backed up. I called again at 6:45 and they told me the delivery driver had arrived at the store and would be leaving soon. Then at 7:15 the driver himself called me and asked if I still wanted my pizza and said he was leaving the store now. I finally got it 1.5 hours after the time of delivery. After chatting with the driver, he informed me that the manager who makes the schedule forgot to take into account that college students were back and would be ordering. I think part of this very late delivery though is the staff and their inability to pick up the speed of their service when it calls for it. When I finally got to eat my pizza, it was no longer hot. It was just warm and I was debating putting it in the microwave to heat up. read more

We stopped here before the Twiddle drive in concert for some dinner. We ordered two pizzas, pepperoni well done and a meat lovers. Then we got 2lbs of chicken tenders. The pizzas were good, dough tasted fresh and crisp but the toppings were hardly cooked. Tasted like they were just thrown on. The pepperoni that was supposed to be well done was not which was a disappointment. The chicken was the grossest thing I've ever had. No breading at all. This pizza place was right down the street from our hotel so we figured we'd walk there rather than taking the car since it was close. We get there for a nice sit-down dinner after a long drive to discover it's a take-out only place. And they put a table in the doorway so you can't walk into the building; the staff comes to the door and takes your order while you stand outside. SMART! In these Covid-19 times, this is the right way to do it, we applaud them. And the lady who took our order was really friendly and talked to us a bit after taking our order since we're out-of-towners on vacation. She gave us some advice on neat things to see and do in the nearby area. Although when she found out we were from Wisconsin, she did ask, "So why are you here? Don't Wisconsin and Vermont pretty much look alike?" We told her Vermont is MUCH prettier! Although the city of South Burlington apparently doesn't believe in putting in sidewalks, which made for an interesting walk along the very busy street to get to the pizza shop. Maybe they're trying to be cosmopolitan, like Rome, Italy, which also doesn't believe in sidewalks and you take your life in your hands every time you try to cross the street. Anyway, we ordered the Vegetarian Works pizza, half with no cheese to accommodate our vegan/vegetarian thang. Really, really good pizza! Highly recommend Leonardo's. read more
