The waiter took this opportunity to explain that it's accidentally under pasta (you would think upon ordering would be the best time to share this info ;). They were kind enough to bring me their other eggplant pasta. Penne, red sauce almost like a vodka sauce but darker and tiny bits of eggplant. My husband ordered rigatoni with meat sauce. He thought his was tasteless and I have to agree. Both dishes were passable but nothing to write home about. Their fish special however looked fantastic! I should probably share that growing up in the 80's near 18 Avenue in Brooklyn, I might be an Italian food snob!
