Good food! Owners unique she's not for everyone the food is worth it! The sub bread and the deluxe pizza is to die for!

So...I was skeptical. When i called she sounded very rude. I had to bite my tongue not to lash back. But i figured "what the heck, I want to try this ladies pizza" Well let me tell you.. I AM SO GLAD I DID. I got a large meat lovers. $18.00. 8 HUGE SLICES. She topped it on. I am talking pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham, beef, and extra cheese. The sauce was to die for and boy oh boy mmmm mmm on the crust. Mmmmmm I am guessing sauce and crust is homemade?. It was so delicious. Best around me and i have over 30 pizza makers around my country ass. The lady was nothing like on the phone. In fact she was so rude when i called that i took my phone in to record her. Assuming she was even more rude in person. Never judge a book by it's cover. Says a lot. I don't even care abt her poor customer service because the pizza was to die for. Really. And in person, she was sweet as pie. We talked about how she only accepts cash and about her cats. I tipped her and ask if this (Small cat jar on counter) was her tip jar? She said, "Why yes. That's my stray cat fund." And chuckled. She has 40 stray cats. All spayed and neutered too. Great gal and great food. I highly recommend you give it a try and pay no attention to her phone communication skills. Must i also add... Very clean pizza stop too. read more

Where do I start... This is the most amazing pizza that I have ever put on my taste buds. Oh how I've read the reviews about "Kathy The Pizza Lady" ...that I just had to try this place for myself. We ordered pepperoni pizza with garlic crust. The garlic sauce in place of the red pizza sauce, what a wonderful twist on the traditional pizza. We also ordered a deluxe pizza. It was packed with toppings.... the most I've seen in my life time! The wait is totally worth it. I will be back soon. Oh, and the pizza lady was friendly, but very passionate about turning out a quality pizza. read more

ZERO STARS - Tried to call to place a carry out order, as soon as I began the order - I informed the associate this would be a large order - she replied with "well ok then, what do you want?" with an extremely rude attitude. I proceeded with the beginning of the order, I had ordered 3 subs, she then replies with "well what all are you ordering??". I explained I told her this was going to be a larger order, I was ordering 7 subs. She then proceeds with the terrible attitude asking, "UGH, ok then what all do you want??" Completely unprofessional, completely rude, FOR NO REASON! I ended up having to hang up on her because she was so rude and mouthy, and would just not listen to my order being placed. We tried Large thin crust deluxe pizza. Very good! Will visit again. Basically carry out only establishment with no Internet presence so had to drive there (from Warsaw so not far) to get menu but... none available- so snapped a pic for future reference. Owner/chef & only worker (as far as we could tell) is in late 70's so it is the def of "old school". Contrary to another reviewer- she was very friendly to us & other customer that came in while we were there. read more

This review is based on the experience, not food. I have not had the food. Hours are 5-9pm and the presumable owner arrived at 5:10pm. My family and I wanted to give them a try; support a local business. We walked in to check out the menu and we felt like we were inconveniencing the woman. We were not greeted or engaged with at all. Her demeanor whilst answering the phone was not any friendlier. There are "unfounded rumors" that the place is closing and it is quite likely due to the absolute lack of any semblance of customer service. We don't live far from here, so hopefully we can try again and have a better experience and actually try the food. read more

Unfortunate to say I didn't even get a chance to visit this place. There are several reviews on Yelp commenting how rude the owner is. I didn't think it could be that bad and people were exaggerating, and being a Pierceton resident I thought I would support a local business. I called the Pizza Stop & Subs and the person answered and when I asked the price of a product her answer was "Well, first of all I am closed. And to answer your question the price is $12.99 but I am doing some stuff over here" I said thank you and she hung up. I called back to say she should not be that rude to customers and the voicemail I received said "Today is my day off". If that is your excuse for giving poor customer service maybe you should change the hours on Facebook and other websites because they all say OPEN 5 - 10 PM. Or maybe don't answer the phone next time the store is closed and you are doing stuff on your day off. Have a voicemail listing your hours of operation? I wish I could rate this place a zero because we didn't eat any food from here. The place was empty. I was studying the menu to decide what I wanted and that nasty woman asked me to remove my mask among other snarly mean comments. I noticed she wasn't wearing a mask, so that was that. I was out the door fast. She should close up shop and get a job at Dick's Last Resort where meanness is expected, although they do it in a light-hearted way. Maybe the food is good. I don't know. Since we have lake property here we only order during the summer months, but we have never been disappointed. The BLT pizza is the bomb!!! Never thought of mayo on a pizza until we tried this. Small family owned pizza joint with great pizza. Have to admit the owner is a little on the short side with friendliness, but makes up for it with her food. read more

Good pizza. However, the service could use some polishing. I presume the woman who took our phone order and whom we picked up from is the owner . She was completely charm-free, to the point of being gruff and rude. Next time we want pizza, we'll drive to the next closest choice. read more
