This is very close to a five star experience. The food is delicious and well priced. Pizza and salad were fresh. The menu is very extensive and you can definitely get confused. If you are here for lunch, recommend the lunch special for pizza. The pizza is large enough to share and did not take too long to come out. The staff taking orders was friendly and patient for new customers. They even brought our food to our tables. The ambiance is open dining room, but an odd stench is the first thing I smelled when I entered and it really impacted my experience. That's about the only negative I have for this restaurant. When asked about the menu amd flavors, the server told me that the menu is still in the works, and only the pizzas and pasta dishes were available. This place have a lot of fresh new flavors, and some crazy ideas about food! I have to admit, I got nervous and ordered the Latino Detroit style pizza. I am not familiar enough with Indian flavors and didnt want to misjudged the food. Hands down, the BEST pizza in Ventura County. Yes, I said it. And yes... even better than the local favorite, Toppers. Pizza Twist just opened in Port Hueneme, and they came in HOT with flavor, style, and culture. This is Indian fusion pizza done right, bold, seasoned, and anything but basic. My favorite so far is the 3 Idiots pizza, loaded with flavor and personality. I haven't tried them all yet, but I already know I'll be working my way through the menu. Their wings are on point, crispy, flavorful, and not over-battered (which is rare out here). You can actually taste the seasoning, not just the fry. And let's talk combos... Pizza + Mango Lassi = undefeated. Coming from the Caribbean, I've honestly felt that the West Coast has been missing those bold East Coast flavors for a long time. We need to step it up, and Pizza Twist is doing exactly that. Big flavor, no shortcuts. They'll also be offering Taco Twist soon (not available yet), and I'm definitely looking forward to that. One small suggestion for improvement: the music on the TVs was a bit loud, and one of the videos had someone giving the middle finger just something to keep in mind for maintaining a more family-friendly environment. Every time i come into Pizza Twist to pick up food for doordash, the restaurant smells like sewage waste. The food smells amazing and the restaurant is always empty. Every time i enter Pizza Twist there is absolutely no one inside the restaurant because of the STRANGE odor inside the establishment, no one wants to eat inside. One of the worst/strangest smells i've encountered in my entire life. There are multiple reviews about this location and this god awful putrid stench.
