I had never had Pizza Guys before tonight, so this is just sort of a random jumble of thoughts as I'm finishing up eating: It was better than Domino's, about the same bread/filling quality as Little Caesar's, but was also a little more expensive than I expected for the quality. We got a double pepperoni that had a normal amount of pepperoni on the pizza. Between my boyfriend and I, we killed a Large in one sitting so it wasn't exactly the most filling pie in the world. We also got the garlic cheese bacon breadsticks. Those were pretty awesome. Very cheesy! It comes with a large side of marinara or ranch or garlic sauce, too. On top of everything else, we got the cinnamon sticks for dessert (we go all out when we try a new place). Now, I'm not a huge pizza snob. But I did work for a pizza parlor for a few years and know a thing or too about quality. And I may be biased because the place that I worked for had the best dessert sticks ever, but the cinnamon sticks were literally the equivalent of Jack in the Box churros, except less flavorful. I was very disappointed. Some extra perks were that they had awesome coupon deals (I don't think I would want to pay full price for their pizza), and we got a free 2-liter of soda for picking up our order! And the service wasn't bad either. We ordered online but when we picked up our order the guy at the front was nice and helpful. Overall, we might go back, we might not. First had pizza guys when a rep brought it for lunch to our office and I was quite impressed. The though is on the thinner side, and they balance the sauce and toppings just right so the crust stays crispy, and the toppings are moist. The ingredients seem and taste fresh and they aren't overly salty or seasoned like a lot of the other establishments. I came here for pick up, the location is a little weird but it's behind the gas station next to the quick stop, they have proper covid protocols in place and they even threw in a 2 liter for picking up. This place is across town from me, but it's sooo worth it. We always get the meat lovers pizza. He bacon is crunchy, the sausage is cooked well. The crust is always nice and crunchy. Please do not go here whatever you do. Their customer service is terrible. My friends and I found a promotion code online validating a free pizza. They called to say the pizza was ready. So driving across the freeway to get there for the pick up they call again and deny the promotional code and not only that, threaten us. They could have definitely handled the situation a lot better but instead chose to be hostile. All in all, this place is SHAMELESS and a SCAM. They said that the promo code was faulty even though it legitimately went through the online order but even so this does not justify how they handled the situation. I've heard from several others that they were treated in the same dishonorable fashion. If you're craving pizza do not go here! I have been to this establishment several times and have usually had a neutral to fairly positive experience with them. The pizza was decent, although never exceptional, while their prices are fair. My most recent experience however, has left a very bad taste in my mouth. After ordering a pizza online, I was called 20 minutes prior to my scheduled pickup time only to be informed that not only was my ordered cancelled, but I had been accused of attacking and scamming their business. As a customer just looking for a bite to eat, the conduct of the employee greatly shocked me. Under no circumstance should a restaurant treat their customer with that kind of behavior. Two large pizzas for around $21 is a good deal in my book. They also have some of the best tasting gluten free pizzas I've tried, especially the California garlic chicken one. Though they are expensive $18.99, plus tax and they are a little small, only 12 inches. I love, love, love their normal dough as well. It's so tasty and never too thick or thin. Oh, and free soda or ice cream when picking up an order is also nice. Friendly staff inside as well as on the phone.
