Service is a little unusual in where you order outside (it was freezing and cold and I felt pressured to make a decision quickly so I didn't lose out on my turn in line.) I hope they change it but I guess it helps them serve more people. I also didn't like that there were people in bar stools to the right of us and I realized they were all overlooking our table and that was just too close for comfort. Service was alright tbh. The service was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. I was a bit disappointed with the scampi shrimp. The shrimp were much smaller than I expected, and I may have misunderstood the menu because I thought it would be served with pasta. We live close by and had been meaning to try Pasta Supply Co for a while. Really glad we finally did. The space is small and comfortable. The grab and go section up front with fresh pastas, sauces, and other items to take home is on point. To start, we had the spicy cauliflower with pesto rosa and pumpkin seeds, which was a great dish to kick things off. The staff mentioned there are a few staples on the menu, but a lot of it rotates regularly, which is always nice to see. They also have a really solid wine selection. For pastas, we tried the lasagna du jour with pork sugo and the mafaldine with beef cheek and mushrooms. Both were very good, but the mafaldine was the standout for me. Really rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On top of the food, the service was excellent. Wonderful staff and food! Stepped in to try their lamb ragu lunch special, and I couldn't help but add on a grapefruit and olive oil panna cotta because I'm a sucker for olive oil on desserts. The pasta was all dente and had good lamb flavor. Their packet of chili flakes is so good! It's pretty spicy and crisp with a little sesame surprise. You can even use the qr code on the back to win a years supply of tomato sauce. The panna cotta wasn't too sweet and olive oil was good. But I didn't feel like the pink peppers added too much in terms of flavor, it was mainly texture. Maybe a little dusting of fennel powder or maldon salt would be better. Stopped by Pasta Supply after they sent me a coupon for $10 as a subscriber...that always gets me. Regardless, Pasta Supply has some of the best fresh pasta in the city so you should check it out anyways. On the day that I went, they had a corn ravioli which I thought would be such a treat for a warm day. There wasn't really a sauce that I felt would go with it so I ended up picking up a few fresh ingredients also along clement (English peas and mint) and whizzed up a bright pea sauce that made my corn ravioli such a nice summery treat! But I couldn't have just that, so I also picked up some of my favorite shapes - malfadine and paccheri. Both are difficult to find outside of a restaurant but I love that I can find unique shapes here from time to time. The pasta lasts well for a few days in the fridge or a few months in the freezer which is great when you want to whip up a meal that feels just a little fancier than your grocery store bought pasta. The texture is so much more tender and almost velvety, it's a real treat! Trust me! read more

We live close by and kept hearing rave reviews about Pasta Supply Co, and finally were able to give it a try. To start off, we got the crispy parm garlic bread and the PSC greens salad. Although I'm not usually a huge garlic bread fan, we all loved how crunchy and cheesy the garlic bread was. We realized later that we should have saved it to be able to dip into the pasta sauces, but it was fabulous. The PSC greens salad was also very good. We really enjoyed the zingy lemon kick, and kept coming back to the salad throughout the meal as a contrast to the pasta. For pastas, we tried the lasagna du jour, which had broccoli rabe, the daily special ravioli (stuffed with four types of cheeses, and drenched in a spicy sauce) and the kabocha squash plumpers. All of the pastas were phenomenal. Again, I'm not usually a big lasagna fan, as it can be heavy and overcooked, but this lasagna was not heavy at all and the broccoli rabe provided a nice bitterness that cut through the rich sauce. The daily special ravioli was probably our least favorite, but was still delicious. The sauce had a nice kick, but the filling did not stand out as much as we were hoping. My favorite was the kabocha squash plumpers, which were perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. Although the brown butter sauce was filling, it complemented the squash filling wonderfully. On top of the amazing food, the service was wonderful. We were checked on regularly, and the staff seemed to be having a great time. Although we stayed until closing as we arrived fairly late, the staff were also very accommodating and did not make us feel that we had to rush out. We tried: - lasagna of the day: I believe it had pork sugo but I mainly just remember how cheesy and luscious it was, sitting in a pool of delicious sauce - fusilli in spicy tomato-vodka (I forgot to take a photo of this one because I was so happily eating!): the shape of this one was so satisfying - larger and thicker than typical fusilli with looser spirals, they still held the sauce well and were cooked perfectly al dente. I came here for lunch to try the meatball parm sandwich. I would give it a 8.5/10. The sandwich overall is good, however it does need a little more sauce. The meatballs are thick which I like, but since theres a lack of sauce and the meatballs are a little more bland, the flavor gets lost. The dining room is pretty small and rather cramped. Our party of three were seated at a small table. My favorite dish was the spicy broccolini lasagna ($21), the lasagna du jour. I was worried that it would be bitter from the broccolini, but such was not the case. The reginette with pork sugo ($23) was delicious, as well. By the time the malfadine butter + parm ($18) came, we were pretty full. If you order it, know that is a very rich dish and needs a little something to cut through the richness - maybe some veg on the side. The crispy parm bread was the only thing I was not wowed by. I ordered the lamb ragu reginette pasta and the artichoke with arugula salad. Both were well seasoned and tasty. I paired the salad with a glass of falanghina and was really happy with the meal. Aaron returned and got me my check and some to go containers/bag. The restaurant automatically adds a 15% service charge and lets you know you can leave an additional percentage, which I gladly did.
