Pizza and Breadsticks
Juan G.

Ordered pickup and everything was ready right on time in about 25 minutes--quick, smooth, and great customer service all around. We got the 2-medium pizza, breadsticks, and 2-liter combo. Pizza choices were pepperoni and pepperoni with Italian sausage, and both were . The pizza itself is exactly how I like it--soft, doughy, and fresh. The breadsticks are out of this world, and the marinara sauce tastes authentic, making the whole combo dangerously crave-worthy. The ambiance is clean and spacious, and if you want to dine in, there's plenty of seating to comfortably enjoy your meal. I'm a regular here, and they really show love to their customers. Every last Tuesday of the month, they run an amazing pickup-only appreciation deal: * Medium pizzas for $5 * Wings for $4 Hard to beat quality, value, and consistency like this. Highly recommend--this spot never disappoints.

King Pizza!

Pizza is awesome! Taste fresh toppings generous! Service great! "Cash Is King" I love this philosophy! If you pay cash you get about a 4 percent savings on menu pricing! Keep up the great work you guys!

Medium half pepperoni jalapeno + half Canadian bacon pineapple

My favorite pizza place and we found this one by mistake. I was hungry and called the closest place and it happened to be the original pizza x two on 7th. And it was probably the best pizza I had in forever, I felt that so much I came back the next day to make sure I actually liked it that much and I wasn't jsut starving. Since then my bf and I have came back time after time and we devour it every time. It has yet to fail us. The service is always quick, my pizza is always hot, and the topping are so good. Pizza x two has my heart

BAD PIZZA! Over cooked, burnt crust, little red onions, barely ANY CHEESE OR SAUCE! C'mon is that so hard to do for $30???? I'm not happy!
Gayle S.

Why do you cook your pizzas almost burnt? The crust was burned, no sauce because it dried up after high heat. C'mon .... It's not that hard to keep eye on pizza in oven.... I will not be finishing it after 2 pieces.... I could barely eat it. sausage dried without any moisture- very few red onions, little cheese .... NOT HAPPY AT ALL!! Then almost $28-

This is my public announcement that I have discovered a new favorite pizza delivery place. Big ol' perfect pizza, ranch that tastes like it was made from the heart, and garlic sticks that are good for the soul. The delivery woman was so kind!! Will definitely be a returning customer

Medium Two- Topping - Pep & Sausage

I love Pizza X Two but upon today's visit they really inconvenienced me. My go-to is usually the sister store (Avila's Pizza X Two) located on Pine Ave which I'm assuming is under different ownership as I've never had an issue at that location as I've had here today at the 7th St location. My grandma and I decided to pick up a few pizza's after picking up my brother from school. I live just a few blocks away so it's quite a short walk and is honestly the only reason that I've been opting for this store lately than the Pine location. Upon ordering, the young lady at the cashier appeared to not know much about their specials or menu, she picked up the menu and started reading it for a while as we patiently waited. I ended up just ordering the special I usually get at the other location; 2 medium pizza's, breadsticks, and a 2 liter soda. The cashier did NOT inform us that their breadsticks do not come with any side of marinara sauce so by the time I got home I was just left with a side of dry breadsticks. I called the store to ask about my missing sauce and the same cashier said I had to have ordered it on the side; which she never mentioned lol. I find this stinginess quite unusual as they always provide at least one side of sauce because I don't like my breadsticks without the marinara sauce. The employees should be trained to mention that sauce is another additional fee apart from the breadsticks to avoid inconveniencing consumers. Before leaving I asked the young male employee (who seemed like he didn't even want to be there) if I may have a side of the cheese and red peppers packets which he informed me was gonna be an extra $1.25 solely for parmesan cheese packets. I understand inflation and all but yikes, I'll surely be sticking to my favorite location on Pine after today's experience as they're not stingy with add ons and the employees are actually knowledgeable of their menu. Now don't get me wrong, solely speaking on taste terms; the food here is great, but I'll get the same great food at the other location that knows what their doing and doesn't try to hustle their customers.

Cheesy Pasta Pizza
Mackenzie F.

Great casual pizza, cheesy bread is great too. I finally even tried the cheesy pasta pizza and it was great, and oddly not overwhelmingly heavy. Also most of the time if you order directly from their website for delivery, it'll usually get delivered in under 30 minutes. Love love love them.

I've had many positive experiences in the past, which brings me back, but unfourtunatly the past 2 times I have ordered here have been less than pleasant. Today: pizza extreamly greasy, (photo of grease dabbed off 1 slice). and the breadsticks which were ordered with "extra cheese" came "plain; no cheese." When I called I was offered 35 cents off my next order. $30 out the window, as the only thing worth consuming this order was the diet coke!! We'll, I waisted my new years resolution last order of pizza before surgery. What an extream disappointment, in the food and lack of customer service.

Never ordering againg , had soggy pizza , and cant even get a sandwich order correct called and asked about the toppings shown on sandwhich asked for grolled onion sonstead of raw and add a lil mustard , sandwhich came drenched 8n mayo no cheese no onion no lettuce just babana pepee, pickle and mayo n a lil mustard gross

Medium two toppings, $10.99. Ham and pineapple.

Food - The dough is airy with good structure. You can eat many pieces! The marinara sauce is perfect balance of acidity, saltiness and sweetness. Cheese is always melting and stretchy. I used to take out pizza here almost every week when I lived in LB around 2017. It still tastes the same! You can't find this pizza around here unfortunately...So good. Service - Good! Always nice on the phone and in person. Ambiance - Regular pizza place, nothing special.

That was very much appreciated. This is a fun casual spot in 2nd and PCH shopping center, so you get 90 minutes of parking free here. You order at the counter, and they bring you the food pretty quickly after. You can eat inside or outside, both are lovely options. You basically pick your pasta type and sauce, so it's kind of a create-your-own-dish. They also have weekly specials and a few other specialty dishes on the menu. I will say, the lasagna looks to be the dish to get. The person next to me ordered it and the dish was massive. Looked delicious! I got the pappardelle bolognese. Pappardelle is my favorite type of noodle, and they make a great pappardelle here! Perfectly toothy. The noodles themselves were 9/10. The bolognese didn't have the deepest flavor I've ever tried, but it was solid. I loved the beautiful plate that my pasta was served in. I would definitely come back here. It's great to "make your own dish". It's a fun spot right along the water as well.

Service is exceptional as always, the gals working were truly so sweet. We'll be back soon, this is truly such a gem.

I WISH I LEFT A BIGGER TIP! .. and I hate tipping!…read more We just came back from Italy and had an amazing time there with the food we tried. Fatto a Mano sells pasta and pizza that takes us right back to Italy. If we ever miss that country, then this is the only place we have to go to satisfy any nostalgia. Marco is such an amazing host. He makes everything from scratch and is up front with how long it'll take for him to make your food. We got there right when it opened and the place filled up quickly. But he still made time to ask for our names and check in on us frequently. You can tell the customers love him because so many people came in and talked to him like they had known him for years. We got the carbonara and Estiva. The carbonara was perfect. Just like the way they make it in Italy. Al dente with the sauce perfectly integrated with the noodles. Generous with the ingredients and a flavor explosion with every bite. The Estiva is a pizza with basil pesto, yellow tomato confit, and "fior di latte' mozzarella. All I'll say is that it was delicious and any one who likes pesto needs to try this. Now, why do I wish I left a bigger tip? The delicious food would be enough but it was Marco! He addressed us by name every time he passed by. The most memorable aspect was when we were getting up to leave. He loudly said if we could please wait 5 minutes so that he could give us gelato for free! He was making it fresh as well so his machine needed some time. It was delicious! We threw our trash away and started to walk out, but then he told us to wait so that he could give us gelato again! I told him he already gave some to us and then he said we needed more... and that he insisted because "it is like 1000 degrees outside!" I'm coming back and I'm brining my family and all of my friends!

I also appreciate that every table comes with olive oil and vinegar. We ordered the mentai cream pasta and the uni pasta. The mentai pasta was packed with umami and the pasta itself was cooked perfectly al dente. The nori and mushrooms paired really well with the sauce as well. The uni pasta was just as good. The sauce was rich and creamy and the uni on top was fresh and buttery. The meal also comes with complimentary bread and salad. The salad was light and refreshing which helped balance out the richness of the pasta. The bread was simple but great for dipping in olive oil and vinegar. The service is always friendly and efficient. If you're a fan of Japanese Italian fusion, this place is definitely worth a visit. Pastaphony bills itself as "Where pasta gets a personality."…read more Judging from the fiery heat that blasted outtve my plentiful order of Pasta Arrabbiata, I'd venture that my particular entree's personality was, indeed, zesty and irascible...to the point of inedible. On this particular weeknight, your favorite Yelp correspondent was pivoting in and out of Glendora's Food Hall like a metronome, ferrying a quartet of meals from the hall for my wee Uber gig. Pastaphony caught my attention within moments of nesting my customer's order into my insulated carrier- my SUV's cabin was redolent of cheese, tomatoes and overall hone-cooked goodness! I went with Pasta Arrabbiata, then customized my order by adding a breaded chicken breast, black olives, onions, roasted peppers and shaved parmesan. On the plus side, Pastaphony gives ample portions- My entree weighed almost as much as a two-item combo platter from your friendly neighborhood Chinese takeout place! And, while the dish took me to Flavortown...unfortunately it was the Mojave Desert, with its scorching flavor profile and intense, spicy taste. The star of the dish was the breaded chicken cutlet and the shaved parm, but since the penne pasta overwhelmed the chicken/parm by an eight to one ratio...this was a difficult dish to finish. Context- As the acknowledged "lightweight" in a family of folks who typically relish spicy food, I asked my wife to sample my dish. She was born in Michoacacan and regularly quaffs homegrown Serrano and Habanero peppers like they're ice. Even she was surprised by how utterly spicy my pasta dish was! My entree cost $26.39 after taxes, a wee steep for a single protein pasta dish. By comparison, you can spend $1 more at any Johnny Carinos or Olive Garden and get a three-item combo with bread and/or salad accompaniments. So I wasn't satisfied by the "value for money" question, either. This experienced reviewer probably ordered the WDD (Wrong Damn Dish) but at their prices (a side of garlic bread or breadsticks is $10.99!) one os hesitant to retake the plunge.

I think I was a little hesitant because in my head I was thinking how good could possibly really be? In my head spaghetti/pasta is something I can make it home and almost thought it a waste of money to go out of my way to go out specifically to eat this dish. I ordered the Arrabiata pasta with the sausage. I'll admit I was a little thrown off by added cost of each tolling and also added cost of the Arrabiata sauce and I also did wait until a fair amount before the food was ready for takeout. But the pasta really blew me away. I'm still thinking about how good it tasted. I would definitely come back and I actually wanna bring my dad who loves spicy pasta like this. It was really that good. I can't think of another place that has this level of pasta let alone this price. The only negative I would say in regards to one of the workers. The cashier was manned by wonderful woman who did every and all tasks from taking the orders to putting food items in the oven to answering the phone I'm probably much more than that. I don't know. In contrast there was an Asian man with a black shirt who was also working. He looked lost and completely helpless. There was a moment where this woman was so busy and there was a ringing that I assume was from either a phone call or a delivery order. This man did not offer to help more nor did he help from what I saw. He was utterly helpless and unhelpful. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the encouragement "Hey help your team out!" The woman on the other hand was doing so many things simultaneously and yet was really kind at the same time. Anyways, I'm giving my review of a five star because I wanna see this place succeed and I'll definitely come back .
