    Pizza and Breadsticks
    Juan G.

Ordered pickup and everything was ready right on time in about 25 minutes--quick, smooth, and great customer service all around. We got the 2-medium pizza, breadsticks, and 2-liter combo. Pizza choices were pepperoni and pepperoni with Italian sausage, and both were . The pizza itself is exactly how I like it--soft, doughy, and fresh. The breadsticks are out of this world, and the marinara sauce tastes authentic, making the whole combo dangerously crave-worthy. The ambiance is clean and spacious, and if you want to dine in, there's plenty of seating to comfortably enjoy your meal. I'm a regular here, and they really show love to their customers. Every last Tuesday of the month, they run an amazing pickup-only appreciation deal: * Medium pizzas for $5 * Wings for $4 Hard to beat quality, value, and consistency like this. Highly recommend--this spot never disappoints.

2 stars bc this is usually my go to but I am Not happy with my last pizza. Am I wrong for questioning who allowed this pizza to go out? I didn't get to enjoy any of the crust I loved so much. Why did they assume I wouldn't care about the crust. I would have ordered no crust if that was the case. Most of the pepperoni was burnt as well. Very disappointed this didn't impress my guest either.

As a child, my mother used to take me to Pizza X Two just do we can enjoy slices, soda and those tasty garlic bread sticks while we played Time Crisis, Metal Slug, CarnEvil and HydroThunder on the arcade cabinetsThat alone is worth 5 stars. Though they don't have the games anymore and the dinning space is larger than the hole in the wall space they occupied, I am still glad families continue to come here to have lunch and dinner together while they watch the World Cup Matches on the flat-screens. They all deserve to have their family meals together. This review is to share to everyone that Pixza X Two welcomes families.

BAD PIZZA! Over cooked, burnt crust, little red onions, barely ANY CHEESE OR SAUCE! C'mon is that so hard to do for $30???? I'm not happy!
    Gayle S.

Why do you cook your pizzas almost burnt? The crust was burned, no sauce because it dried up after high heat. C'mon .... It's not that hard to keep eye on pizza in oven.... I will not be finishing it after 2 pieces.... I could barely eat it. sausage dried without any moisture- very few red onions, little cheese .... NOT HAPPY AT ALL!! Then almost $28-

My favorite pizza place and we found this one by mistake. I was hungry and called the closest place and it happened to be the original pizza x two on 7th. And it was probably the best pizza I had in forever, I felt that so much I came back the next day to make sure I actually liked it that much and I wasn't jsut starving. Since then my bf and I have came back time after time and we devour it every time. It has yet to fail us. The service is always quick, my pizza is always hot, and the topping are so good. Pizza x two has my heart

This is my public announcement that I have discovered a new favorite pizza delivery place. Big ol' perfect pizza, ranch that tastes like it was made from the heart, and garlic sticks that are good for the soul. The delivery woman was so kind!! Will definitely be a returning customer

I love Pizza X Two but upon today's visit they really inconvenienced me. My go-to is usually the sister store (Avila's Pizza X Two) located on Pine Ave which I'm assuming is under different ownership as I've never had an issue at that location as I've had here today at the 7th St location. My grandma and I decided to pick up a few pizza's after picking up my brother from school. I live just a few blocks away so it's quite a short walk and is honestly the only reason that I've been opting for this store lately than the Pine location. Upon ordering, the young lady at the cashier appeared to not know much about their specials or menu, she picked up the menu and started reading it for a while as we patiently waited. I ended up just ordering the special I usually get at the other location; 2 medium pizza's, breadsticks, and a 2 liter soda. The cashier did NOT inform us that their breadsticks do not come with any side of marinara sauce so by the time I got home I was just left with a side of dry breadsticks. I called the store to ask about my missing sauce and the same cashier said I had to have ordered it on the side; which she never mentioned lol. I find this stinginess quite unusual as they always provide at least one side of sauce because I don't like my breadsticks without the marinara sauce. The employees should be trained to mention that sauce is another additional fee apart from the breadsticks to avoid inconveniencing consumers. Before leaving I asked the young male employee (who seemed like he didn't even want to be there) if I may have a side of the cheese and red peppers packets which he informed me was gonna be an extra $1.25 solely for parmesan cheese packets. I understand inflation and all but yikes, I'll surely be sticking to my favorite location on Pine after today's experience as they're not stingy with add ons and the employees are actually knowledgeable of their menu. Now don't get me wrong, solely speaking on taste terms; the food here is great, but I'll get the same great food at the other location that knows what their doing and doesn't try to hustle their customers.

Great casual pizza, cheesy bread is great too. I finally even tried the cheesy pasta pizza and it was great, and oddly not overwhelmingly heavy. Also most of the time if you order directly from their website for delivery, it'll usually get delivered in under 30 minutes. Love love love them.

We had a great time to find some new hand care products @Lather and went to discover an authentic italian restaurant which lots of Yelpers mentioned. My wife said, we have to order at the front, then they bring the foods to the table but the owner took our orders, and brought the foods so fast just like other Italian restaurant. We love meat lasagna, pasta w bolonese sauce, and some flat breads like appetizer pizza. We ordered 3, lasagna, tagliatelle bolonese, flat bread sandwich called Cassone w sausage, bell pepper, onions. I had some italian red wine per glass ($14). First, I loved so much my lasagna and kept eating until finish my entire portion. I give 10 stars. My wife's pasta, she said pasta is too thick, might be on purpose? She likes soft, thin texture handmade tagliatelle. For the first time, we ordered flat bread sandwich. The sandwich flavor was good, but not the dough for flat bread. Well, we tried here for the 1st time after shopping. Today was almost 81 this afternoon. Hot and humid.....unluckily AC was broken so he opened the entrance door. One big fly bothered a lot annoying us eating the foods. And so hot inside restaurant. Overall, I liked my lasagna a lot, not really tagliatelle bolonese, nor the flat bread sandwich. If AC was working during lunch time. We felt much comfortable to enjoy our foods. One thing, I loved the red wine but the portion was not enough for $14. Even my wife said, not much for this price. I got 2 glasses of italian red wine, not enough. The view was great ocean side from the patio. This is a strong point eating here for the view. My wife saw the live pasta cooking show, a chef made the pasta, stretching the pasta dough in the kitchen....great show! Fun! Hopefully AC runs well especially hot summer season, the portions of pastas and wines might be more generous for the future.

Instead of pressuring customers, he should focus on improving the food, which in my opinion is far from authentic Italian cuisine. Zero stars if Yelp allowed it. The word "authentic Italian" is doing all the work here, because the food certainly is not. I operate businesses in the United States and Europe, including Milan, and I am very familiar with both Italian food and restaurant operations. What I was served here looked and tasted like basic boiled pasta drowned in sauce--not carefully prepared Italian cuisine. The salad was roughly chopped lettuce with dressing and cheese thrown on top. The attached photos speak for themselves. I waited nearly an hour for pasta. That is not craftsmanship; it is a restaurant that cannot properly manage its orders. If the business is understaffed or overwhelmed, customers should be warned before their orders are accepted. I also felt sick after eating the pasta and shrimp. I cannot prove what caused it, but I will not ignore that part of my experience. I tried to give this business another chance today and called repeatedly during its posted hours. Nobody answered. Why advertise telephone ordering if customers cannot reach anyone? I also personally witnessed Marco speaking harshly to people helping in the kitchen. It was uncomfortable, upsetting, and completely unprofessional. Being Italian does not automatically make poorly prepared food "authentic." Authenticity comes from quality ingredients, proper technique, consistency, and respect for customers. In my experience, this restaurant delivered none of those things. The food quality, service, wait time, communication, and management were all unacceptable. I would never return and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine Italian food.

The pasta is all handmade, and you can genuinely taste the difference in both quality and flavor. The noodles have that fresh, slightly chewy texture that packaged pasta just does not have, and everything tastes carefully made rather than mass produced. The bolognese is spectacular: deep, rich, meaty, and comforting without feeling overwhelmingly heavy. It is the kind of dish that makes you slow down because every bite is worth paying attention to. The salads are also surprisingly substantial. The chopped salad, in particular, is a generous portion and packed with flavor, so it feels like a real part of the meal instead of an afterthought. Save room for the tiramisu, which is very good: creamy, balanced, and a great finish after the richer pasta. The only downside is the ambiance. The interior is tiny, so when it gets busy it can feel hectic and cramped. Still, the service is amazing, friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient despite the limited space inside.

On this particular weeknight, your favorite Yelp correspondent was pivoting in and out of Glendora's Food Hall like a metronome, ferrying a quartet of meals from the hall for my wee Uber gig. Pastaphony caught my attention within moments of nesting my customer's order into my insulated carrier- my SUV's cabin was redolent of cheese, tomatoes and overall hone-cooked goodness! I went with Pasta Arrabbiata, then customized my order by adding a breaded chicken breast, black olives, onions, roasted peppers and shaved parmesan. On the plus side, Pastaphony gives ample portions- My entree weighed almost as much as a two-item combo platter from your friendly neighborhood Chinese takeout place! And, while the dish took me to Flavortown...unfortunately it was the Mojave Desert, with its scorching flavor profile and intense, spicy taste. The star of the dish was the breaded chicken cutlet and the shaved parm, but since the penne pasta overwhelmed the chicken/parm by an eight to one ratio...this was a difficult dish to finish. Context- As the acknowledged "lightweight" in a family of folks who typically relish spicy food, I asked my wife to sample my dish. She was born in Michoacacan and regularly quaffs homegrown Serrano and Habanero peppers like they're ice. Even she was surprised by how utterly spicy my pasta dish was! My entree cost $26.39 after taxes, a wee steep for a single protein pasta dish. By comparison, you can spend $1 more at any Johnny Carinos or Olive Garden and get a three-item combo with bread and/or salad accompaniments. So I wasn't satisfied by the "value for money" question, either. This experienced reviewer probably ordered the WDD (Wrong Damn Dish) but at their prices (a side of garlic bread or breadsticks is $10.99!) one os hesitant to retake the plunge.

I ordered the Arrabiata pasta with the sausage. I'll admit I was a little thrown off by added cost of each tolling and also added cost of the Arrabiata sauce and I also did wait until a fair amount before the food was ready for takeout. But the pasta really blew me away. I'm still thinking about how good it tasted. I would definitely come back and I actually wanna bring my dad who loves spicy pasta like this. It was really that good. I can't think of another place that has this level of pasta let alone this price. The only negative I would say in regards to one of the workers. The cashier was manned by wonderful woman who did every and all tasks from taking the orders to putting food items in the oven to answering the phone I'm probably much more than that. I don't know. In contrast there was an Asian man with a black shirt who was also working. He looked lost and completely helpless. There was a moment where this woman was so busy and there was a ringing that I assume was from either a phone call or a delivery order. This man did not offer to help more nor did he help from what I saw. He was utterly helpless and unhelpful. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the encouragement "Hey help your team out!" The woman on the other hand was doing so many things simultaneously and yet was really kind at the same time.
