    $15 to go salad
    J C.

You can tell there's a change of leadership and management. I came in and there was no greeting and left to wait there for someone to say hello. Even though the new owner already saw. My first review was that I complained about how expensive the pasta was but it was still good so it didn't bother me. I ordered a salad this time. And the Togo container was practically empty. Pasta is just ok now. Service is bad. Salad is worse. Not worth your time -

Spaghetti with Tomato basil sauce and a $5.50 meatball.

Ordered spaghetti with tomato basil sauce and added a meatball ($5.50) and also ordered the Cacio e Pepe. First off if you charge $5.50 for a single meatball, I expect that meatball to be the size of a softball and taste amazing. I got a meatball that was barely bigger than the size of the plastic fork prongs and it had literally no seasoning. It was literally just an unseasoned ground beef ball. For Cacio e Pepe, they seemed to have forgotten both the Cacio and the Pepe. Just butter noodles essentially and not even really flavorful for that. Heard such good things about this place and it was just so underwhelming.

I hate to give bad reviews, but I needed to update my previous review of this place. It's been a while since I came back from the first time I came here, and I don't know if I'll be coming back. I placed a DoorDash order for ASAP pickup of a 16" pizza. Placed the order at 4:35 pm with an ETA of 15-20 minutes. The app said it should be ready before 5 pm. Keep in mind, I intentionally placed the order early so that my 2 year old would have food at her normal dinner time. When I entered the restaurant, there were a few customers who didn't know what's going on. Neither did I. There wasn't anyone at the cashier's area. I had to flag the lady down to ask about my order. This was around 4:50 ish, so I don't mind waiting 10 minutes for my pizza. However, at 5, they didn't even start making my pizza, let alone put it in the oven. It's not until 5:21 pm that the pizza finally made its way out of the oven. It was disappointingly slow. Good news, though, I was able to write this review while I waited for my pizza and I finally got out of there by 5:23 pm. Also, one more thing to note, it felt like they were definitely short staffed and the person who was taking the orders at the front was also the person who was making the pizza. However, I noticed that she didn't use any gloves when making the pizza after transitioning from taking orders nor did I see her wash her hands. Just for that reason alone I don't know if I'd be coming back or would I recommend this place.

In-laws felt like Italian and this place had very high reviews. I would categorize this as "American Italian" and this isn't a bad thing, just know what to expect and don't compare this to what you had in Italy. They let you build your own pizza and pasta so it's a bit mis en place to customize your order to however you want. There is an "IG wall" you can take pictures at but it's located in a tiny normal strip mall and besides the website and social media pictures a pretty normal restaurant. Margherita Pizza :Tomato, Ricotta, Fresh Basil. Very sparse ricotta on this and felt like not enough cheese was used, see pictures. Cacio e Pepe: Spaghetti noodles, Pecorino Romano, Parmigiano, Olive Oil and Black Pepper. With sausage added, it was OK, too al dente and slightly under cooked. Rigatoni with Meatballs: This one I wish we ordered more of, we got it for the kids but I tried some and it tasted great.

We saw online that they have daily lunch specials but it's not advertised in the restaurant. The staff had to dig around for a while to find the lunch menu. It's basically $2-$3 off select dishes. We ended up ordering the chicken parm and the 12in short rib sandwich. Total was about $47 for both. Pretty pricey. The chicken parm barely had any pasta. We thought there'll be more pasta under the chicken, but sadly no. Short rib sandwich was dry and lacked flavor. We dipped it in the chicken parm sauce which made it better.

What can I say? I wanted carbs for lunch! Ordered a braised short rib pasta, meat lover pizza, and garlic bread. The one thing I was really eyeing was the pasta. The short ribs in there were so tender. They have nice pieces lathered onto the noodles. The noodles were nice and bouncy. They are wide and long, so fun to eat and just delicious. Would order this again! The meat lover pizza was amazing. My kids loved it, nice thin crush, nicely layered with cheese and just an overall yummy pizza. The garlic bread was a 6/10 not crazy over them. Service was good, the gal who took my order was down to earth. I waited about 15 mins until my entire order was done . Not too bad for all that food. Casual dining area and plenty of indoor seating along the wall. There is more seating towards the back as well. I love the different artwork highlighting Orange County. Super neat to look at.

I was told about this place a long time ago by a family member who lived in the area at the time, but had since moved away. So, really no reason for me to visit after that. Came across it again on a shopping trip for pet food and thought I'd stop by finally. Location: On the corner of Glassell and Lincoln Ave it's in a small strip mall with a private parking lot, but shared. Customer service is good and the ambiance was like walking onto a sidewalk cafe for a break after a shopping trip. Food: I wasn't feeling brave enough to chose my own plate, so I went with their braised beef ravioli in pink sauce. Wasn't expecting the mush like consistency of the filling, but I couldn't fault them the freshness of their pasta. There's just a taste you get from fresh made pasta you don't get with packaged ones. The pink sauce was divine and i liked it. Larger appetites will think the serving too small, but was just right for me since I had garlic bread. 8/10 The garlic bread wasn't my favorite. Too much oil/butter on the bread and not enough time in the oven or on the pan for a crust on the top. I was given the option of cheese on top but i passed on it. Maybe i should have gotten the cheese on top as that might have given me a crust on top of the bread. Summary: I left full and satisfied except for that garlic bread. Maybe next time I'll branch out and build my own next time. The menu looks inviting with endless combination possibilities. Adding a protein to your dish will be an extra charge. Build your own pizza is also available tool (They have signature pizzas too). However, sandwiches are not build. your own. Cute little place, just too bad it's so far away as I love pasta. Still reasonable prices for what you get and best of all:mom and pop shop. Happy Eating!!!

I came to this place because of their reviews, but was disappointed in my experience. The restaurant was nearly empty while we were there and it took 45 minutes for our food to be ready. I understand people have off days, but the staff wasn't very friendly and seemed annoyed when asked questions (ie asked for a water cup because none were available). Braised beef ravioli - 6/10, beef was flavorful, sauce was bland BOYP (pappardelle, pink sauce, and sausage) - 3/10, the up charges on this felt excessive (ie $2 for pappardelle + $3 for pink sauce + $3.50 for sausage), the sauce was not flavorful, the pasta was cooked well, sausage was okay Garlic bread - 2/10, no garlic flavor I am tempted to try their pizza in the future, but would not re-order pasta. The price for the meal we ordered was not justified during this dining experience.

My boyfriend and I went on a Tuesday night and we got the pasta trio! First of all, the service was incredible, the lady there was so helpful and sweet. The food was also incredible. The pasta and sauces were sooo good. They were just right, they didn't make me feel all nasty after the fact, like some pastas do. The place was also nice! It wasn't busy so there was a good amount of open tables. I would definitely recommend dining in if you can help it. This is a MUST TRY and I will be going again!!

I came here with family. We all enjoyed our food and service. My sister ordered the cheese ravioli and said it was one of the best cheese ravioli dishes she has had. My mom ordered the cacio e pepe and enjoyed it. I ordered the parpadelle beef pasta and was blown away. Both my boyfriend and mom tried it and said my dish was the best. Big portion sizes. Comes with bread and butter. Pizza was decent. It was warm inside the restaurant--it is September and warm out. Customer service was good. Overall we all said we would come back. It's a must try

Like a normal pizzeria with seating into the back so it's not a romantic spot or overly picturesque. There's a parking lot which is convenient. Service was friendly and quick. They have a surcharge for using credit cards. Penne In pink sauce and sausage 8/10 Chicken parmigiana with spaghetti 9/10 Beef braised ravioli 9/10 - all the pastas were a bit on the salty side (prob the pink sauce) 12" pizza with half deluxe 10/10 They have a self serve soda machine but you do have to pay for a cup; they do offer water but it doesn't taste good at all. Their soda machine is all cream based drinks so if you don't like those I would bring your own water.

Food was delicious, but service was even better. The restaurant felt very homey and welcoming and the mini vespas were a nice touch. Alex recommended the short rib pasta, beef braised ravioli, or gnocchi and I opted for the short rib pasta. It was a generous portion and the pappardelle and short rib were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Alex, chef Fabio, and the rest of the team were great because you can really feel the love that was put into the food and restaurant. I will definitely be back!

My husband, our 3 boys and i stayed at a local hotel so we chose this place for dinner based off the yelp reviews. I'm happy we did because they did not disappoint. Luckily we were the only ones dining in. It's in a strip mall so it's not that big inside but cute little cozy space with friendly staff. The food was even better! Their beef braised pasta was so good! I highly recommend. My husband and I split that with a Cesar salad and we were stuffed. If I'm ever in the OC I will definitely go back

Should have taken a picture before we attacked tjis bad boy.

Do they have a full bar?

Sorry we only have beer&wine no liquor (not full bar)

Can your dinning room accomodate a group of 6people? If yes, is a reservation suggested?

Yes we can. We don’t formally take reservations, although if you call us 2 hours in advance we can prepare the large table for your group. Some weekends we do get an influx of customers so wait time can vary.

    Do you have chicken Alfredo?

Yes we do. We have, build your own pasta :)

The pictures look like orders of trays but no pricing or is this just for presentation?

For catering, you’ll need to give me a buzz. I can explain the menu and suggestions on the perfect catering :) info@pastapartyusa.com or call the restaurant

Are there any gluten free options besides salad?

Yes we have a penne pasta gluten free! You can pair it up with sauce of your choice. Hope this helps!

Do you (or can you) do family style dining?

Yes they do and it's a crowd pleaser!!!

    Dry noodles or fresh?

All I can say is that its fantastic food. Im not from CA but when I come into town, I make sure to order Cacio e pepe! Chicken Parm was also great along with the pizza!

    Takeout comes with bread?

    I think so.

My husband and I came across the restaurant on a Saturday at 430pm. We had our baby stroller and have been mindful on avoiding dinner rushes while going to restaurants, just in case. The Host asked us if we were a party of "3 and a half" which we laughed and said yes. We waited outside where there is patio seating and only a couple of tables taken. Inside, there were people at the bar and maybe one table occupied. The rest were open. I could see through the windows that the staff made a big deal about the stroller, they were walking around making hand motions as to where the stroller would "fit" mind you we've been to plenty of restaurants where this has NEVER been an issue. They came out to speak to us twice stating they were looking for a spot. I told my husband we should just eat elsewhere but he insisted on waiting. We did not want to sit outside due to it being hot. The host finally returned and said that they have reservations and can seat us at a table but we have an hour limit due to the reservation. My husband obliged b/c he was hungry, and I was annoyed. We got seated in the back which is fine by the big display of wine and our stroller replaced a chair. Which idk why that wasn't suggested or thought of in the first place. Our server was very nice but the other staff just kept side eyeing us. Dinner was rushed, it was tasty yet over priced. Our baby slept the entire time, No fuss thankfully. What were they to do if they had someone in a wheel chair and couldn't accommodate space? I know the comparison is far fetched compared to a stroller however it was the first time I ever encountered this. Since someone else made a comment about them not being seated due to a stroller, I would suggest avoiding this restaurant if you have small children as it seems it's not welcomed. Again, we were mindful and have been going to dinner before 5pm.

We ordered the Fugazzeta and a pepperoni pizza--both were delicious, especially the Fugazzeta. We also tried the gnocchi and milanesa napolitana with Russian salad, and everything was flavorful and satisfying. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Before leaving, we grabbed desserts: bread pudding with dulce de leche, a dulce de leche cannoli, and alfajores--all really good. Only downside: I later noticed the receipt showed two chocolate volcano desserts instead of the alfajores I actually got. Not sure if it was a mistake or mix-up, but worth double-checking your receipt. Overall, great food, great vibes, and I'd definitely come back.

We had some of their beef empanadas $3.90 each, and a gnocchi de la casa (House gnocchi) with chicken $17. The beef empanada was filled with beef, eggs, and olives and had a nice sweet and savory balance. The gnocchi was good although the chicken was a bit tough. We also ordered a side of their French bread, which was warm and soft. I dunked the bread into the creamy tomato sauce in the gnocchi dish. The restaurant offers inside and patio seating, and it has a casual yet cozy ambience. I would come back to try their other empanadas and maybe their pizza. They also have beef and chicken milanesa, breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and even a case of pastries and dessert! I need to come back and try their baked goods and fruit tarts. Happy eating! Yelp Review #53- 2026

After hearing so many good things about this place we decided to come and give it a try. This place is not big , it had maybe like 15 tables, it tucked away in the back of a shopping center. We walked in and were seated right away. Our waitress came over and explained the specials and we ordered an appetizer and our drinks. I ordered a mocktail and my husband ordered a Negroni. They just recently got their liquor license so they just started with the cocktails. For our appetizer we went with the carpaccio, it was absolutely delicious. The lemony sauce was so good and it is topped with some arugula and served with some toast. I would order this again. For our entree I ordered the Frutti d mare and my husband ordered the cannelloni Romano. The cannelloni Romano are 3 crepes stuffed with chicken , spinach and cheese and topped with more cheese and a red past sauce. My husband enjoyed them very much. We have actually never seen this served in another Italian restaurant before. My Frutti d Mar was also very delicious, it had scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari.Served with some linguine in a delicious red broth. So delicious. Now I can understand why this place has been around this long. I heard that the same chef has been making those dishes for 36 years or maybe more. That's a great consistency to have. We will definitely be back to try some more delicious food.
