Tried this not too long ago and I find it to be an awesome place. I had the bunuelos, pan de yuca and anither yuca type baked good with cheese inside. They are all bery delicious. I came back again the following week after my morning walk.

Great, homestyle place for a quick bite of Colombian food and coffee. We always are seated and served quickly, and never forget to leave without a bag full of their delicious baked goods. If you have not been to a Colombian bakery yet, this is a good one to try. They have many authentic items you won't find stateside.

So happy I finally got to try this gem. It's been on my Yelp bookmark radar for a while, and I recently heard they opened up a second location in Portage Park, so I knew I just needed to get here already to try it. First off - let me just say that I genuinely appreciated walking in here and being welcomed by the staff. As a Colombian myself, there is just something about the friendliness and service by Colombian waitstaff and I got that vibe immediately when I walked in here. The girl who helped me at the counter was very nice and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. I got a medium sized Colombian style half Hawaiian and half Pollo con champiñones (mushroom and chicken), and we also ordered a caldo de costilla soup to-go as well. The lady allowed us to sit and use a table while we waited even though the restaurant was pretty busy, and she also asked if we wanted water with ice while we waited which was very nice. Overall, very happy we came here. The pizza and soup were both delicious and it's awesome to have a Colombian-owned restaurant not too far from me that actual serves the typical Colombian pizza type that I've had many times in Colombia (thin crust). They *do* also make deep dish pizza which I'd be willing to try here as well. I found the pricing here to also be pretty reasonable which is another reason to return. Will be back! :)

Didn't know this place existed. Always passed by but was going for some café con leche and a friend suggested we go here because they'd been there and thought it was good. They were not lying! So good that I ordered a 2nd cup! Ordered some appetizers and not the best ,but not the worst either. Columbian food in general is good and this place offers all sorts of items to choose from. We tried at least one of each of the main staple Columbian delicacies- pan de bono, pan de bono with guava , pan de bono con queso( our favs)YUM! And well, it's very very good, the baristas make good café con leche! . The best part, not only does their coffee and food menu offer a good variety, they are open until 9pm daily.. I stop in for coffee here at least 3/4 x's a week. That's how good the coffee and treats are. If you decide to sit and enjoy, the salsa music playing over the speakers will keep you dancing in your seat.. their staff are all attentive and very friendly ,making the whole experience nice. Tip, if you order any of the pan de bonos or empanadas, ask that they warm them up for ( they are alot better warmer. I just noticed they have another location also. This one we visites is on W Irving at Narrangsett , This place is a winner ! I

The first time I took a bite from a still-warm buñuelo, I blurted out "f--- you , that's good!" Food doesn't normally make me swear out loud, but this was delicious. The buñuelos, pan de bono, and super inexpensive little pizzas keep me coming back. The food is definitely delicious, and even though the pizza is clearly a pre-made crust, you know what? It's tasty and only $7.50. Be forewarned, if you order in advance I am 90% sure they start your order when you arrive. Both times I pre-ordered I had to wait 10 minutes for the pizza. My only real critique is the place could use a good scrub down, cuz it's a little grubby.

One of the best Latin American food I have had! The tamal and the soup were delicious! My daughter wouldn't let go of the pan de Bono relleno. I especially loved their arepa, though my husband found it dry. During this challenge time, I found them taking the cleanliness seriously! I smelled chlorine when I walked in (I think the floor was just mopped). The staff sanitized everything including the shaker and chair handles before seating us! It gets busy, and I think the kitchen is under staffed (take a bit for the food to come out, but they are piping hot!)...

So our server stated that our first-choice food selections were not available (steak jibarito and beef arepa) so instead we then ordered empanadas (one beef, one shrimp) and the chuleta valluna. We noticed that the kitchen was slingin' some massive plates of food, so we decided to split the one entree and the empanadas. Well the server comes along and says they are out of shrimp empanadas. How can a restaurant be out of so many food items when it is barely past 1PM? We decided to do just the single entree and the single empanada. I also ordered a can of Inca Kola (good stuff, though I had to beg for the drink after our food was served), and we did get some ice water. The beef empanada was AOK, not bad. The chuleta valluna features a massive flattened breaded pork chop along with many items (rice, fries, yuca fries, tostones, yellow potato, salad). The menu mentioned this dish would also have sweet plantain, but perhaps the yuca fries were a sub for the sweet plantain. I gotta admit, the food overall is pretty good. The service from the staff was pleasant, but there was always something "off" during our dining experience. When the bill came, we were charged for the shrimp empanada that was not being served, so we had to ask for a corrected bill to deduct the missing empanada. Overall we had extremely mixed feelings about our lunchtime here. Perhaps it was just a super busy day here, but I am feeling overly generous with my three-star review.

You get Polombia, one of the only (that I know of) restaurants that brings together Poland and Colombian cuisine. I had gone to their former location in the now closed Washington Food Hall and enjoyed the cuisine immensely....but a couple weeks ago, I went to their current location in the Ogilvie Train Station within their food court. This time around, I decided to play it safe and try their paczki burger that of course has a Colombian twist. The bun itself was the paczki part but the inside it had an angus patty with melted cheese, sofrito, pickled slaw, and a garlic and tomato Aioli. It also had pickles in it too. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and satisfying the burger was. It was neither too sweet nor too savory....something that I'd try again in a heartbeat. Check this location out. But note that its towards the back of the food court and could be easily missed. They also have a stand at Rate Field, Home of the Chicago White Sox.

I don't love huge portions of just meat, but for someone who does, this spot delivers in spades. While the service was friendly and helpful, they were quite slow, especially for a lunch spot in a food hall.
