We arrived at the Pizza Bar around 6:30 on a Tuesday. There were a few tables occupied. The atmosphere had a chill vibe... easy listening John Denver style music playing on the speakers and warm lighting throughout. It had a great industrial aesthetic that was quite comforting. There's a beer bar you can sit at with a happy hour that ended earlier in the evening along with plenty of booths and tables to choose from. We chose a plush and comfy booth. The menu is fairly straightforward with many staple items you would expect from a quality pizzeria. We had a slice of Buffalo Chicken, BBQ Chicken, Meat Lovers and Chicken Parmigiana. 2 slices and a drink special is $10. Individual slices are $4. We also ordered an 8 piece wing, $14, half buffalo and half mango habanero. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. The pizza was crispy with a nice delicate crunch as we bit into it. The chew was perfection. My favorite was the bbq chicken with the parmigiana coming in at a close second. My boyfriend preferred the chicken parmigiana overall. The wings, served with ranch and blue cheese along with carrot sticks, were crispy and tender. Both sauces were light but full of flavor. Our total came out a little under $35 and we brought home leftovers. Overall this place is quite amazing and if we lived closer we would surely be regulars here. Went in with my kids to order pizza and wings and was told 20 min. I sat with my kids for about 15 minutes and started to watch the pizzas come out of the oven. After 20 min I see a pizza that resembles mine a pepperoni come out and placed on top of the pizza oven. I figured maybe it was a phone in order so I waited patiently after 30 minutes I started looking at the guy that took my order some guy with a 70's mustache wearing a baseball hat. He doesn't make eye contact so after 35 minutes I go up and he says oh yeah it just came out and grabbed the pizza that resembled mine that was out 10-12 minutes earlier and the wings were sitting on the counter for 20 min. I tell him no this pizza had been out for a while. He hands me the pizza and I go home with a not so hot pizza. We get pizza every Friday and have got pizza here plenty of times. Yo. This place is amazing. If you are a carnivore and prefer a low carb diet, this place is for you. Their cauliflower crust is fucking outstanding. Sorry for the expletive, but it's that good. For folks that like traditional crust, this place is all that and a bag of chips Of all the options in the area, my kids prefer Pizza Bar over all others. I do too because of the cauliflower crust. Food is good, selection of beers is always changing and fresh. Music, specifically the sub is way too loud, and recently the air has not been on and it's been uncomfortable to sit it. Went to the bar and another patron commented on the temperature as well. This location used to be Flippin Pizza and I have to say it's slightly worse so not sure why the location went under. This place honestly feels like a soulless version of Flippin Pizza. I stopped in for 3 slices and a beer and it came out to $18. A bit pricy if you ask me. I can go to Almalfi and get a whole pizza that's worlds better and a beer for that price so I began to question why I came here. I got pepperoni, pesto mushroom and margarita slices. The crust of the pizza here still has that previously frozen cardboard look and taste. I would describe the ingredients as medium-low quality. Any time the cheese turns that brown bubbly color you know the pizza, cheese and oven are not the best quality. Service was interesting here, the manager had no mask while a couple associates had them. Overall I didn't get the most welcoming vibe here. The music they play is honestly trash, irrelevant late 2000's pop like Katy Perry. Pepperoni slice was floppy and heavy with sauce as another reviewer pointed out. The margarita slice was perhaps the worst with the bubbly cheese and low quality ingredients. The crust was very cardboard like as well. I usually eat the crust but simply couldn't with this pizza, it didn't taste like food on the margarita slice if I'm being honest. The pesto mushroom slice was the best but I could tell the mushrooms were low quality and not organic. Overall I would not return here unless maybe there is new management or they vastly improve. read more
