Delicious pizza. Pizza parlor style establishment with an emphasis on the Dodgers. We usually order take out but decided to dine here with the weather being nice. We had our pup which meant sitting on the patio. We ordered two small pizzas. Pepperoni for my husband. Sausage and black olives for me. We each ate a little over half and took the rest home. The staff was great! Cashier was very nice. Same with the employee dropping off the pizza, asking if we needed anything. Another was making rounds to clear off tables. It was around 7:30pm. A group of kids, dressed in little league uniforms, were playing in the neighboring tree and running around the patio. Grand Slam is a definitely a great spot for after game eats. Was at my son's today and we decided to grab pizza for dinner. This is my first time here. Cute little place with a lot of Dodger memorabilia, I love it! And they also had the Padres game on TV last night. We ordered 3 small pizzas, an anti-pasta salad, macaroni and cheese bites, and wings. The macaroni and cheese bites were delicious. Super creamy had good flavor to them. The pizza was pretty good. I can honestly tell you on the pizza snob being born and raised in New Jersey. I don't do wings so I didn't try them, but the table said they were super good, apparently they're a dry rub and the buffalo had a little bit of a spice to it from what they said. The antipasto salad was huge enough for at least six people. We ended up taking half of it home. I thought the menu said it was Romaine, but it was a garden blend, which I didn't really like, but I still ate the salad. Service was great super friendly. I'm assuming the guy that took our order is the owner and he was really nice. We ended up getting there about an hour before closing so we were the last people there. Was craving pizza and decided to try Grand Slam Pizza while in the area. This is for sure a great local hang out, just down the street from the ball fields, so perfect location. It has a private parking lot, could be tight when busy, but the night I went, there was plenty of parking, good start. Walking in it is apparent they are big Dodgers fans, me being from Los Angeles, it was cool to see that. The young guy behind the counter was cool, he told me if I give my name and email, the next time I came back I could get a free medium two topping pizza, great incentive and I should have taken him up on it, but was not sure how soon I would be back, so I passed, should have signed up as I really enjoyed the pizza. He took my order and my salad came out right away to start. Did not get a picture until after I started eating, ate the carrot and most of the cucumber and mozzarella cheese before I got the picture, sorry. The salad was good and the blue cheese they have was great, very chunky and full of flavor. I got a pizza with ground hamburger, mushrooms and spinach. The crust was crisp, but also was chewy, has a sweet taste to it. Crust makes the pizza along with the cheese and both were excellent. Hamburger was a big light IMO, but lots of mushrooms and a decent amount of spinach, very tasty all around. They have a bunch of local beers on tap, TVs all around, an arcade and seating inside and also an outdoor patio, great for watching sports and hanging out. Check them out, support local. This place could not be a more locals spot. It cute and hidden in a neighborhood strip mall. Almost every time I've been here it's been packed with kids and families. Definitely the most kid friendly spot I've been in north county. There are always people watching whatever spots game is on too. The staff is always very friendly both when I call in orders and pick up. They are prompt and your pizza is ready when they say it will be ready. The pizza itself is always hot, fresh and delicious. Some of the best pizza outside of the northeast! The pizza reminds me of what I grew up with in southern New England and the NY metro area. The crust is just the right amount of chewy and very flavorful. The sauce is perfectly seasoned and the toppings are generous. My husband, who grew up in California, had a habit of tossing the crust from the edges of a pizza because he was used to it being dry and tasteless cardboard. Plenty of Rams and Dodgers memorabilia throughout this place will make you feel at home. Our party had a wide variety of dinner orders. I had the Sandy Koufax with the fries. Amazing does not do it justice how flavorful my sandwich was. The fries also were the perfect side to share with friends and family. The Caesar salad was both light and filling. The wings were long gone before I could even sample, a sign of the quality. Their menu is decent sized but not overly complicated. Prices are very reasonable, with good portions matching up to them. The alcohol menu has just enough to cover your needs without becoming a daunting task. The staff was very friendly and took care of all our needs. Parking lot is shared with other businesses in a strip mall, but if you're going after sunset you won't have any trouble finding a spot to park. We starting going here about a year ago and it is SO GOOD. The mac and cheese bites are the best. I like how there is a little arcade to go to if the food isn't ready yet. The workers are super friendly always ready to help with whatever you need. The tvs all over are really nice and it's a great community. There is a bit of favorites between the teams you can tell by the flags on the walls. But the thing is we don't all have to like to the same teams. We are allowed to like different teams based of where we're from and people are getting upset about that and they shouldn't. read more

We have been coming here forever but more frequently for the World Cup games. Food is great, staff is attentive, and prices are competitive. We especially love the wings and cauliflower crust pizza. Basic pizza shop that's a hangout for LA Dodgers fans on game days. There is no actual bar, they sell beer but I wouldn't call it a sports bar. Lots of beers on tap. Pizza was good. Largest size of pizza was a 16 inch, I got a veggie pizza and it was $32. Customer service was okay but employees seemed depressed. Overall it was good and I will go back for more pizza. read more

Definitely a locals pizza hang-out. Super relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices were fair, the pizza was delicious. There are many choices of topping and sauces, so let your taste buds experience something different. Multiple TV's, so you can watch your favorite sport. Self serve beverages are close so you never have to wait. Just take a few steps and refill your glasses. Parking can be tricky. It takes some massive huevos to fly a huge Dodgers flag outside your pizza shop in this town. In fairness, they've also got big flags for the Rams, Lakers, and Padres, too. But you're not here to look at flags. The pizza is thin crust and is absolutely STACKED with toppings. Don't you dare accuse them of skimping on the toppings. I will say there is not a lot of cheese or sauce. Personally, I prefer thick (thicc?) crust, heavy cheese, heavy toppings. But good is good. And this pizza is good. I really do wish there was just a little more cheese but I appreciated all those delicious toppings. We tried a large pizza, half Grand Slam (meat lovers), half Spring Training (pesto, artichokes , onions, tomatoes). I wish the pesto flavor was a little stronger but overall, both sides of the pizza were very good. The Grand Slam was definitely the winner. This place is very popular so plan accordingly. No padding left in the seat cushions. Bathrooms either need a good cleaning or makeover; maybe both. Tv's are everywhere, sportsman dream. Video games in the back. Tommy Lasorda italian sandwich was packed full of meaty yumminess. Definitely no skimping. My husband had the Meatball sandwich. Nice texture and tasty sauce. The side was a choice of chips or pasta salad. We both went pasta salad. Good but could use more seasoning. Overall, would return if we were locals but otherwise we'll keep moving.
