For all the other food options being closed after 3AM or having a long wait, this spot at Harrah's came through. You have to line up first and although it feels like a Chipotle line where you order up at the start of the counter, you don't order until you make it all the way to the end to the cashier! Sometimes the pizza chefs have to let you know about this because some people start ordering. The line was very long when we came since this is the only spot open around the area. However the line was going very quick! I feel like they had a very quick system going on and the staff were all being very efficient in calling out orders too. You can mainly get pizza slices and chicken wings here, and have them in different combos! My boyfriend got a combo advertised for $23, a slice of pizza with a 5pc chicken wings (either plain, buffalo, or garlic) and a drink. We got lucky to find a table so we ate it there but the food comes in slice boxes so you can to-go them easily to your room. The pizza slices are at the counter for you to choose from and are reheated in their oven. The chicken wings (plain) to me were very deliciously fried and a good size. I like their texture being soft cooked crisp rather than super dry and overcooked crunchy. The side of ranch made it even better. Free refills on soda due to their soda refills machine! Friday, 4-04-2025: Another overdue review about our LV trip. We were so happy that this was conveniently located in Harrah's, where we were staying. When we arrived in the afternoon, there were a few people already seated at tables and nobody in line. We opted for the specials as seen in my photo, which were great deals! I opted for the Hawaiian slice while hubby as always, got the pepperoni. We couldn't believe how good they were! The crust was a winner and the toppings rounded out these tasty slices in spectacular fashion. We had gotten there at the perfect time because a long line was formed beyond the entrance by the time we finished our pizza slices. We will definitely return here when in Vegas. read more

The most unexpected encounter seeing Buddy Valastro himself just casually walking out of PizzaCake! I just stopped dead in my tracks and did a double take and awkwardly stared at him because I couldn't believe it was actually him! I use to live in New Jersey near Hoboken where the original Carlo's Bakery is located and where he got famous from the original Cake Boss show on TLC. Is this amazing pizza? No. But honestly if your looking for a slice while gambling, it meets the need. You could get a whole pizza somewhere else for the cost of two slices, but it's is fast and easy to access. The staff kicks out pizzas super fast like a well oiled machine. This is located inside the Harrah's casino. CakeBoss Buddy knows what he's doing! The pizza is delicious. Just the right amount of crunch with amazing flavor. I would definitely recommend the good ol pepperoni slice. But you can't go wrong with any other slice. This place is a must try when you're on the strip. The service was fast and easy. Pizza Cake is a weird spot. My friend and I were staying at Harrah's in Vegas and decided to give this Buddy Valastro spot a try. We left feeling confused how he could put his name on this spot, quite honestly. Come on Cake Boss, what happened? It's a bright and colorful casual spot with a few tables to dine at. They have iPads to order at - neither one was working. One had an out of order sign. The other we ordered on, while staff watched, and got to check out when we realized it wouldn't process the order. Alrighhhhhhht~ so then we went up to the counter and ordered. They push $5 shots here hard. It's so odd. A huge bullhorn sits outside repeating over and over "Best pizza on the strip! $5 shots!" and there are tons of signs inside advertising same, said shots. Mind you, no one in the line I was in got a shot. They were out of a bunch of the pizzas, BUT when we went to the counter, there were more items than what was listed on the computer. No consistency, but it worked out for us to get a Smores and Peanut Butter Cookie because it was on display in the case! HURRAH. The Reese's was actually really good, albeit a bit dry. The flavor was awesome though! The S'mores was mind numbingly sweet and this is coming from a bonafide chocoholic. Not feeling it! Now all could be forgiven if I bit into some tasty and mind blowing pizza! But I think you already know where this is headed. The chicken in the chicken & bacon alfredo was dry but overfall the flavor was fine. It was tasty enough for me to finish it, not enough for me to get it again. Their shots may be $5, but 2 slices of pizza and 2 pieces of the desert ran us $40. Not a bad price if everything was fabulous. Not gonna front though, I won't be back. read more

Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's go!. My wife and I used to watch the cake boss on HGTV quite often with the host of the show starring Buddy V. We had planned trips to visit the Hoboken restaurant in New Jersey but always fell short during our visits. We have even tried to visit this location on our last Vegas trip but fell short in time. But not this time around because we made it our priority to make it here. We got a slice of cake and it was quite a disappointment. They have a variety of pizzas to choose from as well as drinks and garlic knots (yum!). The pizza slices are big so you get a decent amount for the price but also it's Vegas so what can you expect, the garlic knots were actually pretty delicious compared to some places, they also serve shots and have some beer on tap. The pizza slice I had today at Pizza Cake was the worst I've ever had. I've come here hundreds of times whenever I stay at Harrah's, but this time the bottom of the pizza was completely burnt. I've never had a slice like this here before. I had just woken up after a long nap, was super hungry and ordered a buffalo chicken slice but it came out burnt. I was surprised and asked them to change it, but they told me they were out of buffalo chicken. Since I don't eat beef or pork, I asked if they had any other chicken slices, but they didn't. So, I asked for a veggie slice instead. They told me they were going to throw the burnt slice away, but I said I'd eat it anyway since I was so hungry. Still, I paid for a new veggie slice and ate that too. I tried explaining this to the supervisor, but he just said the same thing happened last time. Honestly, if that's the case, it really needs to be taken care of. I love the pizza here a lot and often come to eat, but the service this time was disappointing. If they fix small things like this, this place could easily be one of the best on the Strip. It's not about the money charge more if needed, we'll still come because we love the pizza.
