Seriously one of the best pizza spots I've tried in Miami! I love that the restaurant name is an Italian word that translates to "Pleasure" because that is exactly what this pizza does in your mouth! There was parking on the street only, but there were a couple spots available. We ordered a couple pizzas at the window and they were out pretty quickly, delivered to our table. Delicious ! Was looking for a new pizza place to order for from. Per usual I go on yelp first to get a feel for these places and I went with some of the things the people were raving about. Something hits just right about pizza after a music festival..the "Eat" part of my "Eat Sleep Rave Repeat" motto. After dancing, and walking a distance from Ultra's barricades, my friend Felicia recommended this place. I'll admit, when she mentioned that it was a food truck I was a little hesitant because after raving for over three hours I wanted to sit down. I was pleasantly surprised! You see, they have their trailer where you place your order but also a little garden area with tables. There's also a bathroom in a pre-gentrification era house a few steps over. I started with my usual caprese salad (served in a clear plastic container, so I'm not sure if it's commissary or made on site). However, the tomatoes were large, the mozzarella creamy and greens fresh. It was served with the rich & slightly sweet balsamic vinegar I like. Of course, Hawaiian pizza was my main course! Piacere's had a light & slightly crispy crust topped with a generous serving of red sauce. There's a decent sprinkling of pineapple and ham as well. Service can be a little slow, especially on late & busy nights. However, the taste was worth it. It's located near a group of other of other food trucks & next to a late night soccer field, so it's perfect whether after an event or even a casual date. It's even walking distance from Midtown if you have a little more post-rave energy to burn. read more

Here on a Sunday, my first time. I admit I'm a bit snobby when it comes to pizza, and Miami has plenty of BAD pizza places. This was actually the 4th spot after leaving the other 3 because the pizza looked horrible AND was ridiculously expensive. (How can you have lousy pizza and stiil charge an arm & a leg? People will eat ANYTHING now a days!) Sorry for the rant, back to the pizza... It's a food truck in a cute little area, they have tables & chairs set up for the customers' convenience. It was a little difficult to order because no one spoke english- but after a few tries- we figured it out. We ordered a 12 inch pep, sausage & bacon to share. Note: It is almost impossible to find crumbled italian sausage down here, it's usually salami style sausage (in the shape of a log, and then sliced). Now the only real option was do a grub hub and this was a first for me but was worried about how long and how cold it would be on this rainy night. Now it seemed to take forever for the restaurant to "accept" my two pizza order and after 30 min called grub hub to find out timing. It was now 7:30. The guy arrive about 8:10 and put the pizzas in the oven. Pizza was ok, not raving about the sauce, sausage had a spice about it, my young companion had no complaints. Lots of beautiful trees (nature) light decor at night, plenty of seating, & an always clean mini bathroom but for the top of the line rating it would have to go to the service, don't get me wrong the pizza is phenomenal! But the service, Wow---amaxing. I believe it's family owned & what a beautiful family, God bless them and their fantastic business. If your looking for a great place to go out with friends, a date, solo. This is a great spot! I love going in the evening cause of the decor at night, & they also play a band on certain nights. Piacere was my go to pizza for a bit there. It was the perfect balance between doughy, cheesy, and a light crunch. The small bits of fresh mozzarella mixed with the rest of the cheese also added to the flavor. The last 3 times I've ordered have been quite disappointing. I received a half burnt pizza. It tasted like charcoal. Then this most recent time the pizza was quite over cooked, dry, and lacking flavor. I know a lot of Italian wood oven pizzas like to fire up the pizza and char it but that's something Piacere's pizzas weren't really doing. I'll give it another shot in the coming weeks but really hoping the pizza quality improves. read more

Every Sunday after serving and attending evening service at our church myself and my church crew always go have dinner at a place in the Wynwood/Midtown are and this past Sunday was no exception. We were in the mood for pizza and so one of us found this place and off we went. Located midway between N. Miami Avenue and NE 2nd Avenue, Piacere is an outdoor pizza spot located in a fenced in lot but do not let the location fool you. It is a very spacious outdoor spot with plenty of tables and chairs to eat. This location is just like a food truck whereby you walk up to the window, place your order and sit down and wait for it to come out. After about 5 minutes my piping hot pepperoni pizza was brought out (yeah I went basic). The smell emanating from it was divine and for it being wood fired it had just the right amount of char on the crust that did not make it too burnt. Let's just say that I wolfed down the pizza; it was that good. I definitely can see why this place was popping on a Saturday night; noticed a lot of their business was take out which makes sense given its location. Next time I will try one of their other pizzas on the menu as they all looked delicious. read more
