First time at this restaurant, many friends have recommended it. We didn't wait long for a table. The staff were great. Our waitress Esmeralda was kind and friendly. The restaurant was nice. The food was delicious. I had the shrimp enchiladas, yum. The chips were nice and warm. The food here was great.

Came back to try the Menudo and was not disappointed the bowls were good sizes and made perfectly. The customer service was great and the interior had plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Came here for lunch and tried the queso birria tacos and they were amazing. The consume was OK. The service was outstanding. It was a very nice vibe in the well decorated Mexican restaurant. It's cool that they also offer free chips and salsa when you get seated. I'll be back.

I come here from time to time, since it's not close to my home. But I make it a point to come here on lent time, because I n ow for a fact. That they will have my tortitas de camarón & nopalitos, and my favorite dessert.....capitotadas.! Now I also come here for the Oyster shots ( best in Southern California hands down). Their carne asada is also very good, this place is definitely a must visit for good quality food.

Chile Rellenos were great. Sauce was just right. They can be combined in combo or not.

My daughter was craving for Enchiladas so I recommended this place. This is the first time we actually dined in. The dining place is nice and clean. Majority of the time I order to go. While we waited for our order, we got the complementary warmed salted chips with spicy salsa. We decided to order from the lunch menu. My daughter ordered Cheese and Sour cream Enchiladas. I ordered Carne Asada Taco and Cheese enchilada. We loved the flavor of the taco and enchiladas. The portion size is perfect. The waiter who took our order was sweet and gave a fantastic service. Both my daughter and I enjoyed our meal and it was delicious. We will be back again. Check out the lunch menu attached. In the regular menu, they serve variety of delicious items. They have appetizer, breakfast, burritos, Seafood, Cocktails, variety type of tacos, Soup, and etc. Come check this place out if you are craving for a Mexican food.

Taste: 5* Service: 5* Ambience: 4* Stopped here for Father's Day. Service was quick, efficient, and helpful. Despite being very busy the food was fast and service great. I had the campechana (pictured) without ketchup (campechana blanco or campechana sin ketchup) and my partner had the mixed fajitas. Both were a very good size for the price and tasted great. Ask for the house made corn tortillas (tortillas de maiz hecho al mano). We will return.

I was pretty bummed out that the food quality wasn't that great. It's a pretty big restaurant and can accommodate large parties but I wouldn't consider going back if I'm in the mood for good Mexican food. The tortilla chips and salsa were pretty mediocre. Salsa was bland and watery. The menu selection is pretty diverse and they have a pretty extensive selection of seafood options, if you're in the mood for seafood. I started off with a Michelada and with that alone I wasn't impressed. It was pretty much an iced down beer with a little bit of Clamato sauce. I didn't even bother to order a second one. The food was ok. The rice was bland, no flavor and the enchiladas were not that great. The service was decent. It was late in the night already as they were going to close so maybe that's why the food and drinks weren't great but I doubt I'd give it another try.

Let me say the snails were a highlight. Surprisingly tender and flavorful. Sometimes, snails can have a livery / dirt / bitter flavor, but not these. And we were lucky rice wasn't on the table, because we would have stuffed ourselves eating rice with that wonderful sauce. Next comes the boil itself. My wife insisted on "no-spice" (ugh). But I got a side of the house sauce with med-spice. Let me tell you. That sauce. Again, good thing no rice on the table, because I'm already drowning everything in that sauce. Esp the garlic bread. The seafood was fine. You're not at the pier / Hawaiian beach / HK wet market fresh off the boat & straight into your mouth scenario. But fine. We're planning to be there again tomorrow. BTW, that boy scout selling popcorn a few years ago? He made it. He's now an Eagle Scout. Thanks again for the icy refreshing drinks on a hot day.

Took a look at the menu and asked for some recommendations. I ended up getting the cooked mixed seafood ceviche. I noticed they had some options of cooked seafood or raw seafood ceviche. I didn't want to take a chance with the raw seafood in the case I wasn't going to like it. I also got a cucumber lemonade aqua Fresca and an order of fries. So much for being healthy. Haha Anywho, when I got the receipt I noticed I was charged an extra $2 for avocado and a small service fee. I asked the workers about these charges and they explained it to me. I had both charges removed and I highly recommend the workers be upfront with customers before they print the receipt. Anything that is an extra charge or additional fee should be mentioned beforehand as to not sour the experience and to avoid printing multiple copies. For instance, ask the customer if they want avocado or not and mention the charge and when they're ready to pay the bill ask how they'd like to pay and be transparent beforehand about any fees associated with their choice of payment. As a customer, the experience is better when employees are kindly upfront. After I paid I wasn't given back my receipt so I did ask for it. While I waited they gave me some chips and the food came out within 5 mins. It was quick. I took it home and enjoyed it. Its not the best ceviche I've had but it was decent. They gave me a bag full of tostados, crackers, lime, and multiple sauces. The fries were soft but the flavor was alright. The white queso sauce they included with the fries saved it. No ketchup, utensils, or napkins were given. However, the portions of ceviche and fries were fairly big and can be eaten twice or by 2 people. 3.5 stars overall.

HOUSE PAN ROAST It tasted exactly what was expected. A creamy tomato soup consistency and flavor. Got level 2 or 3 for spice level. I wanted more of that creamy flavor, not spice. Any higher than 3 would be Tabasco level spice and up. Deliciously filled with shrimp, chopped scallops, small crab meat. I could taste the crab meat, which was all sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The scoop of jasmine rice with the creamy pan roast was comfort on another level. Got the small size, but it is enough for me. I do wish there were more shrimp and scallops and crab in the pan roast. I felt the scallops and crab were chopped too small and wished there was a bit more. But still I enjoyed the pan roast and would get it again. As an appetizer and accompaniment to the house pan roast, they bring a basket with three sliced breads and a side of butter. It's a light, soft bread with a bit of sour flavor. Didn't like it. I would have preferred dinner rolls. CUSTOMER SERVICE I arrived 1 hr before lunch closing time. It closes at 2:00pm and then re-opens for dinner at 5:00pm. But service was good! Only one server, but she checked back with everyone and all around better than most places I've been at recently. Lots of people came in 30-40 mins before closing time. Still, service was friendly and they weren't turned away. LOCATION At The Commons at Chino Hills. This is a large outdoor mall and have many parking spaces.

Hey Jackson, Instead…read moreof giving me an imaginary prize for being relentless, I would much rather appreciate your business taking accountability for the really poor service I had to experience in order to get a basic refund as a result of a mistake that was clearly from your restaurant. I can definitely be more upfront about my dietary needs moving forward when ordering, but even your employee admitted over the phone that chicken is not automatically part of the item that I ordered. If your staff wanted to add chicken to an item that should be seafood only, perhaps they should have asked if I was okay with that. After communicating with your employee about my concerns, I realized that the mistake on the food was secondary compared to the horrendous service I experienced when I shared my concerns. In your reply, you failed to mention anything regarding customer service that I mentioned, so let me say these facts again. I was hung up on several times over the phone, ignored multiple times when I showed up in person the next day, pressured to sign a claims release in order to get the refund, then was told I was an inconvenience to your business. Another fact is I lost my appetite after tasting your food yet was essentially called a liar when I came in the next day because I didn't appear sick to your employee. I cannot believe that is how your employee was allowed to treat a customer and I honestly hope you had a serious conversation with them. For the record, I was signed out of my main account for several months and did leave a review on a temporary account. Once I gained access to my main account, the review on my temporary account got deleted because that account got deleted. I operate on only one account and needed to re-write any reviews that got deleted. Looks like someone reported my review for your business, so I did revise it to better follow yelp's guidelines. Therefore, it is absolutely not an exact duplicate of the previous review. The real impact here is not only the loss of appetite, but also how I was treated after I raised concerns. It really was one of the most horrendous experience with restaurant staff. I will never again feel comfortable stepping inside your restaurant that is careless enough to scoop an item that was already made with chicken in it instead of making a fresh one with only seafood then try to pressure a customer to sign a claims release to protect yourselves. Nice try, but I'm not falling for that and neither should anyone else.

Our usual order is 1lb of shrimp and 1lb of mussels, and we've always been happy with it. This time, we decided to try the Combo #2 because we wanted to add crab legs. We ordered three combo bags, each with shrimp, mussels, and crab legs. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like there was anywhere close to 1lb each of shrimp and mussels in the bags. I can't prove it, so I can only share our experience, but it honestly felt like there were fewer than 15 shrimp in the bag. For the first time ever, we finished our meal and were still hungry afterward. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend ordering the combo bag. Not only did it seem like there was significantly less food, but with all the ingredients piled together, some items ended up overcooked. We were really disappointed because we've had consistently good experiences with multiple locations here over the years. Hopefully this was just an off day, but we'll be sticking with ordering the seafood separately next time.
