My friends and I chose Pizzaiolo Primo in South Fayette for a recent girls night/happy hour. This location had a special happy hour menu that runs from 4-6pm Monday through Friday and includes several $10 pizzas and appetizers along with $5 glasses of wine. We sat at the bar, though they do have three 4-top high top tables and three 2-top high top tables that are within the bar area, as well. They have a dining room adjacent to the bar. Our bartender was super friendly, funny, and quick to take our orders. We decided to share everything we ordered and couldn't decide on which apps. So, we ended up getting everything besides the mushroom pizza along with a few glasses of wine. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The pizza crust had that wood fire chew to it, the meatballs were hearty and fresh, the calamari had a great crunch and the marinara wasn't too sweet. I enjoyed the arabic the most because of the incredible cheese glob on the inside. We're already talking about going back.

Came here on a Monday night and there was no wait so we got sat immediately! We initially had went to a different restaurant and it had a long wait and this place was only a short walk across the parking lot so we tried it out and i am so glad we did! The pasta was delicious and the vibes are super cute in there! I've only been to the one in Market Square before and this location is comparable except bigger and more parking.

Stated in last review it is rather noisy, well more than rather noisy, extremely noisy! Our waitress was great! Started with the Artichoke Fritti, tasty with a nice sun dried tomato and pesto sauce and the Misto that has some really good cheeses and meats. We enjoyed a couple of pizza, swordfish, crab limone and a salad. All very good.

Arancini is by far my favorite appetizer, so I decided to try it here. It was DELICIOUS! I didn't even remember to take a picture before inhaling it lol. I ordered the margarita pizza for my dinner which was mediocre. It's a small place inside, but it does offer outdoor seating, weather permitted.

Such a wonderful date night spot! We shared a pizza and a pasta dish and everything was delicious! We can't wait to come back!

We didn't have reservations on a Friday night but we're surprisingly seated right away! That was a great start, until we sat there for about 10-15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Even more annoyingly, both tables next to us were seated after us and waited on before us. Once we finally got waited on, the server was very knowledgeable and let us know all about the fresh made pastas, sauces, and cheeses, made daily in house. I had the chicken parmigiana which was very good and a very large portion size. My last complaint was the bread... the server brought it out after we got our meals. I just thought that was weird and would've been nice to have earlier.

I've been to Il Pizziolo in Wexford so I was excited to check out the new Pizzaiolo location in south fayette. What a great location! Super beautiful inside, clean! The others in my party ordered soups, which all looked good. One who ordered a daily soup special said hers was not hot though. Three of us got pizzas, and one got a salad. I got the diavola. It was good! Could have been spicier in my opinion. I think this place is insanely overpriced and I'd rather frequent my neighborhood Italian restaurant or other upscale pizza shops. $26 for a wood fired pizza is crazy to me. Service was mediocre, was expecting more.

Visited on a weekday for dinner with a party of 5 with a reservation. Our server immediately came with menus and water. We started of with the mozarella Fritto. Yum!! Soo good. Like a mozarella stick but adult version. A must order. And, great for sharing. For entrees: Pappardelle Funghi: solid choice, served with a variety of mushrooms and the pasta was fresh. The sauce complimented the ingredients nicely. Rigatoni Polpette: Super filling. Delicious. Large portion. Champion level eater (my husband) only ate half. All in all a solid choice.

It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and our server, Jack was super friendly and attentive to our table. He went over the specials with us and checked back often. We are looking forward to coming back to try out their happy hour specials. They have a very nice patio on the outside as well.

This is so much more than a pizza shop, which is what I thought. Been here twice, pasta was cooked perfect. Sauces were amazing. We really enjoyed both visits so much. Full bar, nice music, great desserts and knowledgeable staff. I can't say enough nice things about this place. We put it on our go to list.

The pizza was delicious and service was good. For a place with pizza in the name, I expected more specialty pizza options (there were none other than the special, which we got) & a larger list of toppings, but there's something to be said for doing what you do well. The women at the next table got pasta and that also looked delicious. There was no cell phone service for us and the WiFi was locked, so I couldn't check in there on Yelp or any other app. There were TV's on the walls showing the football games. Not all in the best places for viewing at the table we chose, but we didn't really care about any of the games on at the time. The parking lot had arrows about going only one way, but no other clear signage, so most cars seemed to not pay attention to the arrows. Not a big deal when it's pretty empty, but I'd think it could be a bit dangerous if crowded. We'll surely go back to try the pasta.

For the main items with dinner I had the Spaghetti Alfredo. Delicious. I took a bite of my husband's Spaghetti Ala Vodka and it was good, it did have a bit of a kick (heat/spicy) to it. I like that stuff. I saw some other Yelp reviews mention the meatballs. I ordered 2 on the side, they were very tasty, I loved them. I ordered 2 specialty drinks from the Italy menu. I love that they make them pretty. I forgot to take a photo of my 2nd drink. The inside is intimate, your tables are close so it can be loud from being so close in proximity. Parking is tight but I knew this from other reviews but it's worth it. Our waitress was so kind, short dark hair woman. They package your leftovers into the boxes which is such a nice touch. Can't wait to return!

There is inside and outside seating as well as some bar seating. The decor and atmosphere are interesting. Our server was super friendly and reminded us happy hour was over in 10 minutes, so we quickly looked at the drink menu and ordered. They have lots of drinks!!!! I settled on a lemon blueberry martini and it was good. The food menu is very limited, but being that Italian is my favorite, I was a happy camper. 4 of us shared the arancini, which was not my favorite. I order this often when I am out and this one was dry and I didn't care for the prosciutto and cheese in the middle. For my entree, I settled on the spaghetti and meatballs which arrived steaming hot which I love. There were 3 huge meatballs which had a nice little spice to them. The sauce was good and the portion size was perfect. No room for dessert. Overall, a good evening

We were warmly greeted by Todd and Gina, the owners, who couldn't have been friendlier. Todd told us all about their wines, including the awards they've won, especially in California, and generously offered us the chance to try any of the wines at no cost. We started with the Gruner Veltliner, a bright, citrusy, and crisp wine. It was extremely dry compared to other Gruners we've had, which are usually more fruit-forward, but it was still quite enjoyable. Next, we tried the Riesling, which was also very good. My wife moved over to the semi-sweet side and tried the Traminette, which I eventually sampled after trying all the dry wines. We both really liked it. I then tried the Cabernet Franc, which was a medium-bodied wine with notes of raspberry, blueberry, and a light mocha oakiness--delicious! The Chambourcin was also quite good, without the typical bite or tartness. Lastly, the Flagship Red, a classic Bordeaux-style dry red, had a pleasant hint of pepper and was definitely a standout. Todd shared that they exclusively offer wines from Stony Run Vineyards in Breinigsville, PA, which has a wide selection. They're also planning to offer Old Fashioneds soon, as their winery includes a distillery, and they'll be featuring a "drink of the week" as well. What really sets this place apart, though, is Todd and Gina themselves. They're genuinely kind people who are dedicated to the community, and it was heartwarming to learn that they both served in the US Military--Todd in the Navy and Gina in the Air Force. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're in the area again. Don't forget to thank them for their service when you stop by!
