The food was absolutely delicious!! My nephew Dante and I went for an early dinner. For appetizers, we got meatballs Parmesan and beans and greens. We each got a house salad, which was big enough to be an entree. Dante got gnocchi which was serv ed with burrata and Italian sausage. Dante got one glass of red wine, and I got one glass of Concorde grape cider. The bill was over $100, which is a little too rich for my blood I must say. However, I can't regret the meal. It was fantastic!

Located in a "Main Street" business strip in Southpointe commercial park, there is limited shared parallel street parking out front. Its typical Italian menu offers salads, pasta, pizza options. Our server, Jordan was knowledgeable and experienced. Our group of 6 adults had a whole separate dining room to ourselves on a Monday evening in January. We started with the complimentary bread and olive oil. Our entrees came out in the appropriate amount of time and were enjoyed by all. I would eat here again if in the area.

I went to Toscana brick oven for dinner on Saturday night. We got reservations and I'm glad we did because they were packed. The vibe was like nice casual if that makes sense lol! The waitress was so nice, probably one of the nicest waitresses I have ever had. I got the chianti to drink and it was so good!! The table bread was really good as well, very fluffy. For my food I ordered the prosciutto pest pizza. The pizza was so tasty and really unique. It had pesto as the base of the pizza instead of the typical marinara sauce and I loved that! Also, the prosciutto was cut into small pieces instead of just a giant slab like most places do. They also roasted it a little bit, so yummy!! If you live nearby you definitely need to check them out!

As much as I wanted to love this place it just didn't work out. We planned to have dinner here with a couple of friends of ours and everything just seemed to fall short. I started out with the pomegranate cranberry martini. It literally tasted like cough syrup. We ordered the zucchini fries for the table which was pretty much the only thing that we enjoyed. They were cooked perfectly and had a delightful dipping sauce served along with it. They serve you complimentary bread along with a dipping oil. The bread was good, but the dipping oil was not the best. Just didn't have a good taste to it. Since I was disappointed with my martini I ordered another drink in hopes that I would like it better. It actually ended up being worse. I thought it would be pretty hard to ruin a greygoose with cranberry, boy was I wrong. I felt like I was drinking straight vodka. While I'm not one to complain about a stiff drink, this one resulted in several uncontrollable facial expressions with each sip. I gave up after my two attempts to be served a good drink. For my entree I decided to go with the Toscana meatballs thinking that they would be delicious in this Italian restaurant. Sadly I was wrong yet again. While the presentation was nice, the meatballs were not cooked through in the middle. They were very gummy and bland. The pasta seemed to be fresh but also was very bland. I do want to mention that our waiter was very good, hence the reason why I gave this place the 2 stars. If it wasn't for him I would have rated it 1 star. All in all this place was a big disappointment. It had a great atmosphere and potential but definitely fell short.

3.5 stars. Long, detailed review... Arlecchino Ristorante is a casual-elegant Italian restaurant…read morethat is uniquely inside a one-room schoolhouse that was built in 1907. This restaurant is open for dinner and catering for dining in and takeout. It has many of the same menu items as its excellent sister restaurant Alla Famiglia. Each meal includes bread and oil, optional appetizers (e.g., meatball and mussels diavolo), a first course of salad and pasta, the chosen main course (e.g., chicken marsala, cacciatore, veal chop, and filet mignon), and then if desired dessert. Alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, wines, and beers) are also available. For my husband's and my wedding anniversary, I made a reservation for Arlecchino through OpenTable. We arrived shortly after they opened for the day. Our first impressions: Valet was required for our vehicle. We felt interested in seeing the exterior and remodeled interior of the schoolhouse. Most of the restaurant was empty then, but the seating hostess took us to the worst table--the smallest table inches from the front door. I requested a different table, and she then gave us a much better one. OpenTable had said that the dress code was business casual, but other customers wore casual clothes, and a hostess wore shorts and a baggy sweatshirt hoodie. Our names were written on a chalkboard above the kitchen and on my menu but not my husband's menu. Our waiter provided timely service and spoke courteously with us. (If you are wondering how to pronounce the restaurant's name, he told me something like are-lee-kee-no or our-lee-key-no.) Here are my ratings for what my husband and I ate: Autumn Spritz - 4 stars - This spritz contained apple cider, Marie Brizard Apry, prosecco, and soda, and I liked its flavors. Smoked Provolone - 2 stars - Smoked provolone was topped with black truffles and arugula. Neither my husband nor I liked this appetizer. I took two bites, and he tried to eat half. Casa Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad consisted of mixed greens, roasted peppers, raisins, walnuts, olives, gorgonzola, and slightly too much vinaigrette. Caesar Salad - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this salad, and he said that it was his favorite food in the entire meal. Cavatappi Alla Vodka - 4 stars - My husband ate this pasta, and I took one bite, and I thought that it tasted good. Cacio E Pepe - 4 stars - Months ago at Alla Famiglia, we loved the locatelli romano cheese wheel at the tableside, so we felt excited to try it at Arlecchino. The waiter definitely mixed the linguini, cream, oil, and pepper in the cheese wheel. This cacio e pepe tasted good but not as great as what we remember from Alla Famiglia. Halibut - 3.5 stars - My main course was this special menu item. The halibut tasted bland but was served with black-tiger shrimp, carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, cauliflower, and butternut squash that added some nice flavors. I did not know the price for this fish until I saw the bill, and it was $72. Veal monzu - 4 stars - The veal was nicely breaded and fried and topped with mozzarella, jumbo lump blue crab, pine nuts, and lemon butter. My husband ate it, and my one taste-test bite indicated that it was flavorful. My husband was not interested in trying dessert, so we skipped it. Our total bill was $178 plus tax, tip, and a credit-card surcharge. Comparatively, I think that Alla Famiglia has significantly better food, but Arlecchino is worth a try.

We were staying in Southpointe and this establishment came up as a nearby option. We had three of the grandkids with us along with our son. Two of the grandkids are picky eaters, but pasta and pizza often do the trick in a situation like this. Hence, Italian fare fit the bill quite nicely. Located in a small complex sharing a driveway with a daycare, a bakery and a couple of other businesses, this place was otherwise located in a very quiet neighborhood. It was not hard to find with GPS, but was one of those places that surprised you when it came up because there was little other commercial activity around it. The storefront was simple. The dining area was moderate in size and seemed to be sectioned in two parts. They also apparently have a seasonal patio which was not being used that evening as far as I could tell. It was an hour before close when we walked in on a Saturday evening. It was not terribly busy, and thus we were seated right away. Our server, Sarah, did a great job. She was engaging without being intrusive and made sure we had what we needed. The menu featured several Italian favorites as one would expect at a place like this. The kid's menu featured a cheese pizza and a penne pasta with a meatball that worked well for the two picky eaters. Our son suggested that the three adults split a Greek Salad and a pizza to conserve on costs. This sounded good to us and we made what turned out to be a great choice with the medium Italian Steak Pizza. It was very tasty and this amount of food was enough to satisfy everyone. The youngest grandchild was able to share the pasta with her sister (and they still did not eat it all) further conserving cost (and food). We did end up getting dessert since we offered it to our grandson. He opted for the Zeppole, which was fried pizza dough drizzled with honey and sprinkled with powdered sugar. They were almost like donut holes. This option was nicely shareable and allowed for moderate consumption. We took four or five pieces back to the room with us for later. It was a nice finish. Our final bill was $89 including food, drink, tax and tip. At just under $30 per adult (ignoring the kids in this equation), that was not bad. Considering three kids were also fed, that's a really good deal. If we're in the area again, we'll certainly consider making a return visit.

Owner came to our table twice to let us know he didn't agree with us and was very confrontational. He said we were happy to "waste food" (I would argue that we would not waste it if it was made properly) so I handed him my card and told him I would pay but we were going to leave because of how he was acting. We walked to the counter and he threw my credit card at me and told us to leave. He then started walking towards my wife and when I told him to stop talking to her, he stepped towards me and followed us into the parking lot. Told us he didn't care because we only spent "a little bit of money" here (my credit card would disagree considering we are there multiple times per week and also have used them for catering twice). I genuinely thought he was going to try to hit me so I got my family out of there. There were a lot of people in there, so I am sure many saw it. Disappointing and unbelievable how he acted towards people who are pretty loyal to the place. Only had three issues in four years. Following us to the parking lot scared my kid. Never seen anything like it. I never post a review, but feel this is warranted.

The restaurant is located in an old bank building and the ambiance here is lovely. We chose the 5 course for two which is chef selected. It did not disappoint. We started with the polenta fries with the tomato basil aioli dipping sauce. The fries were hot, crispy and loaded with flavor. The sauce gave them a nice punch of flavor and was a nice addition. Next, we had the green goddess which included shaved asparagus and snow peas with mixed greens which was a lovely departure from your run of the mill Green Goddess. The lemon zest and ricotta balanced each other nicely. Next was the porchetta genovese pizza. Delicious! The olive oil flavor from the pesto sauce was stellar. We each had a slice and took the four remaining slices home so we could finish the two additional courses to come. Next, the Mafalda Cacciatore, a braised rabbit ragu. The meat was moist and the homemade pasta is the stuff dreams are made of. We finished our dinner with the tiramisu. Left to my own devices, I wouldn't have chosen tiramisu, so I'm happy it was chef's choice. This tiramisu was head and shoulders above all past tiramisu's I've eaten. The ladyfingers were moist without being soggy, the coffee flavor was strong without being overwhelming and the zabione was creamy deliciousness. I'm going to dream about this dessert. I just know it. Our server was Natalie and she has truly perfected the art of her craft. She timed our meal beautifully, described each dish she delivered, and answered our questions. On top of that she had a warm and friendly personality to boot. Finally, I have no idea how Della Terra has a rating below a 4! I'm absolutely baffled. I read a LOT of reviews and I love good food and good service. Both of these things are in abundance here. The ambience as I said is wonderful and their background music is at the perfect level. We were able to have conversation throughout our meal without yelling or repeating. So refreshing. Run, don't walk, to dine at Della Terra tonight! You can thank me later.
