The pizza is pretty good, I can't say I like the fact that they're so tight with the ranch dressing but that is as it is. As for dining in at this particular location I gotta say they need to fix the speakers the only thing worse than listening to bad background music is listening to bad background music and only hearing half of it because at least channel on the audio system is blown.

NO DOUGH OPTION... Top right corner! Individual size only

KETO OPTION for Pizza?!? I'LL TAKE IT! When in full ketosis, keto players can't really enjoy traditional pizza sadly. Knocks you right out of the zone with one bite! So if you enjoy pizza like I do, had to have avoided it like it was symptomatic with COVID-19... until I discovered PMD (Pizza Man Dan's)! Oh YEAH! Their new Oxnard location is cool (the old "Pirate's Grub & Grog site) and easier parking compared to previous location, due to less competing restaurants. Staff was friendly during our visit. Well... let's eat! NO DOUGH PIZZA (or no bread crust pizza): This option comes in INDIVIDUAL size only, and you are limited to 3-4 toppings, depending on what the toppings are. So not all specialty pies can be ordered but I was able to get The Philly Pie and Pesto Pollo. For The Pesto Pollo, I requested to not add tomatoes & onions, but they still added tomatoes. I'll fault that to the glass barrier & masks hindering communication lol! Just a lil bit of work to take a the tomatoes off. So basically the cheese serves as "crust." Bell Peppers are keto friendly, and of course chicken, bacon and cheese are, so a solid keto friendly pie. Probably nets around 4 carbs. Pretty small though, good for small appetites or those preferring small meals. Tasty stuff, slightly greasy, but not as greasy as the Philly Pie. The Philly Pie had Philly steak, mushrooms and bell peppers, minus the onions, probably nets about 4-5 carbs. Definitely more noticeably greasy, but still pretty good eats. Better to eat this one fresh out of the oven, rather than wait to eat at home. I'd probably just go with chicken next time around to avoid the greasiness of this pie. Solid option to consider for those doing a Keto diet. Avoid all veggies to keep it as keto as possible. Also, any greasy meat will be make the "No Dough" pies considerably more viscous as there is no bread crust for absorption. Don't say I didn't warn ya! ;) Enjoy! SYOY!

Wrong order of buffalo Wings (6 pcs)

If i had to describe this place in three words I would choose unprofessional, greedy, and inconsiderate. First off, the place had asked for a tip before even getting our food, and i tipped $4. I sat down for dine in, expecting to receive the pizza by the servers, as in other restaurants, instead i was surprised when i heard my name being called to pick it up. The dish was hot so i burned myself. As soon as i saw the pizza itself there was a gap, as if some slices were taken out! aside from that, the slices were so thin (see pic below). i then got the wings. let me tell you, there was more bones than actual chicken. THEN i noticed that i got the wrong sauce. i had ordered buffalo and mango habanero wings. however, i got bbq instead of the buffalo. I requested for them to correct the order, which they agreed, but the order came wrong ONCE AGAIN. Then i asked for some ranch and they wanted me to purchase it. Ridiculous. The PizzaMan Dan's in santa paula is a better option, even though it's a little further, but they always have outstanding service. Do better.

Cheeseless veggie pan :)

This location of PizzaMan Dan's is way better than the one on Santa Clara. I really wanted to give PizzaMan Dan's another try after our bad experiences @ Santa Clara location, so I've ordered from this location twice now and both times were really good! The first time I went in to pick up the pizza and the employees were all really friendly and the pizza was delicious. The second time my husband went in and got the pizzas, again our order was correct here and the pizzas were delicious! They also recently got vegan cheese although I haven't tried that yet, I usually just get a cheeseless pizza with all the veggies. I'll definitely be ordering pizza from this location of PizzaMan Dan's again. :)

Great find in Ventura! Asian food has certainly come a looooong way since I was a kid!…read more Was needing a quick bite before swim finals. First, the gal who took our order was super friendly and helpful. The food was really good. Reminded me of We had the original chicken wings, japchae, kimbap, bulgogi bowl and the yuzu and grape ades. All of the dishes were wonderful. Chicken was nice and crispy --good flavor throughout and not greasy at all! The japchae had a great balance of flavors and the shiitake mushrooms, in particular, had really great flavor--must have been marinated for a long time to soak up all the juices! The kimbap was delicious! It was fresh and the pickle in it (Japanese call it takuan, idk what its name in Korean is) was super mild. It didn't overpower the other ingredients. The bulgogi was a solid dish. It had also the glass noodles on one side and plenty of meat and veggies. A good, well-rounded dish. We will come back for bing soo after the kid finishes finals, if it isn't too late! A local regular enthusiastically suggested we try it, so we will be back. The drinks were really delicious as well. Not too sweet and refreshing taste--I think each one is handmade individually. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It has all of the taste of real Korean home cooking at a good price point. You can get quality dishes in a casual in-and-out setting. We will be back for sure!

The bibimbap was very standard -- nothing special or memorable about it. It tasted like a typical Korean bibimbap you can get at many other places, but here it was priced at $12.75, while I've seen similar dishes at other restaurants for under $8. The wings were the same story. A small portion of five wings costs $12.99, and while they tasted fine, they were just ordinary Korean fried wings. Nothing about them really stood out to justify the price. Overall, the food is decent, but there's nothing unique or special that makes the higher prices make sense. In my opinion, the only thing that stands out about this restaurant is that it's overpriced for what it offers.

I can understand if you're frustrated or overwhelmed because of rush hour but the joint was empty aside from 1 person waiting for their food. It's unfortunate because the food was great but the service left a bad taste in our mouths on this one. Just because you may be an older employee in comparison to others doesn't mean it exempts you from treating customers appropriately. However, all the other employees were attentive and kind and made the experience much better. Shout out to the cooks though! The food was cooked well and wings were crispy and not drowning in butter and oil! Not salty either and probably the best serving of food at a Wingstop we've ever had especially the voodoo fries. Enjoyed sports on the tv and music as we ate. The tables and drinking stations were clean and bathroom was freshly cleaned.

They offer great combos which gave us the ability to mix and match various flavors. We did the garlic parmesan boneless and the habanero boneless. Both had wonderful flavors and were cooked to perfection. The customer service was great and the speed of service was fantastic. We were quoted an 18 minute order time and I believe we received the food in about 8 minutes. This made the experience very nice and got us back on the road in a timely manner to avoid traffic.

This is a hidden international gem of a restaurant, which may take you a little time to wait if you aren't ordering ahead, but it's worth it! There is a variety of food offerings and to-go beverages, sure to satisfy almost anyone's palate. I've dined here a few times and my favorite sandwich is the Rachel** - packed with sauerkraut (gut-friendly probiotics!) & well-seasoned turkey. So delicious. And it came with a tasty side salad. You can also choose fries as a side or tater tots, for an up charge - both satisfying options, IMO! Dining vibe is low-key and spacious for small groups and the restaurant is kept very clean, with festive touches. I'd recommend going 'old fashioned', skipping the order ahead/apps or delivery and mindfully enjoying a meal to close out 2025 - it's the perfect spot to do it and support small business. Pro-Tip: Don't skip dessert! I've tried the cream horn, but also eyeing both the German Chocolate and Tres Leches cake, which were recommended by some fellow diners on my last visit. **On a throwback note, to me "The Rachel" is a chic & trendy haircut from the 1990s, but here we are in the 2020s, and it's a delicious sandwich - haha! Both are classics to me :)
