So I have gotta be honest, walking into the place I was a little skeptical. The drinks cabinet was empty and looking around. It looked a little disheveled. I ordered an extra large deluxe pizza was told it would take about 15 minutes !It was just a couple minutes longer but it came out huge and delicious !My wife who is very picky , and I thoroughly enjoyed it Couldn't eat nowhere near all of it and plenty for lunch and snacks tomorrow we'll go back for sure. read more

Honestly say one of the worst pizzas ever: doughy crust with no flavor and no crispy bottom. No sauce, literally tasted no sauce. Very little cheese, hardly any present on top! Sad attempt at pizza, hope other items are much better! read more

I was shocked! I thought maybe I had been transported to another planet and aliens were feeding me! Everywhere I've ever been you can order a sub or a hoagie or if you desire you can order a grinder. The cook will take your sub, make sure the cheese is on top, and bake it until the cheese is bubbly and the roll is toasted. That's what I expected here. You can see what I received. I quickly looked around. The aliens were probably taking notes to see if the earthlings could handle the stress before we were conquered. I can't say it was bad, it was just weird. The bread was very thin. Inside was sliced peperoni, crumbled sausage and diced ham along with lots of cheese. It was billed as Italian Meat Supreme but there was nothing supreme about it. BTW- it went for $8. Because it was tasty I'm going to go with three stars. I'll be generous and be back to try the pizza. Pizzano's wasn't my first choice for pizza, but I'm glad that I expanded my search radius and found them. I stopped in to pick up my pizza and while they do have some seating inside, I got the feeling that it's really a delivery or pickup sort of place, rather than eat in. I got the barbecue pizza with extra onions and green peppers. I kind of misunderstood the special they were offering on three topping pizza for a fixed price. The pizza was still hot when I got it back to the hotel room. A little doughy and wasn't easy to pick up and eat likely because of the extra toppings. Or maybe they didn't bake it as long as usual because I was sitting there waiting for it? Anyway, it still had a decent flavor and I enjoyed it. read more

We have only been in Sebring for 6 months. Getting pizza here & there. This is the best we have found so far & we are from N. Indiana close to Chicago. We ordered today & my husband went in to get it & Uber driver was in to pic up order so my husband waited. The only man working in the store gave the Uber driver the food & told him to make sure to hold the one bag straight up & keep from other bag as the other bag had cold food. Salad etc. The Uber driver took it outside & then came back in with the food & threatened the workers life & told him not to tell him what to do with the order & threw it on the counter. Ruining everything. He slurred racist words to the man & threatened to kill him for telling him what to do. My husband tried to calm the worker down as he was shaking. This was ridiculous & I hope the Uber driver loses his job. Terrible. Our pizza was great, for a Florida pizza. read more

We asked our hotel desk clerk where the best pizza in town is, and they unflinchingly responded "Pizzano's". It appears to be primarily a take-away restaurant. On a Friday evening they were doing a brisk take-away business. We decided, however, to dine in. The ambiance of the dine-in area is that of a take-away restaurant that added tables for the few dine-in customers. The area is small with two booths and table space for 22. The table and counter service was friendly and invitingly. So on to the pizza. In our vast experience (seriously) of visiting pizza joints on Fridays, we would rate our large pizza with peppers, onions, olives and Italian sausage in the 80 percentile. It had a very good flavor, equal amounts and distribution of toppings. We have no other pizza experience in Sebring, so this is a very safe bet if you're also passing through. Especially if you're a take-away customer. Even if the interior ambiance is lacking, if the bottomline is the quality of the pizza, then you've also found the right place. read more

Visiting Sebring and went here for a quick dinner. My parents said they'd been here before, usually for take out. They said they have carryout for $5. #1. I ordered a half and half, they said no problem. I ordered half pepperoni and half chicken parmesan with alfredo sauce. The old guy at the counter didnt know how to write down my order. We ordered a large pizza, 1 soda ($1.49 ) and it came to $17.99. Then we added 2 more sodas and all of a sudden it came to $24.14. Sodas are 1.49 each.....do the gut didnt know how to add. Then we get the pizza, they put alfredo sauce all over the pizza, not on the half with the chicken. Duh!. I was very specific. I went up to the counter and repeated my order and I told the guy what he did wrong. He said he didnt write it down that way. I said, no kidding....the other older gentleman, the cook, offered to make us another pizza, but I said we didn't have time for that. We just wanted our money back. The older guy started to argue with me. My mom said she would take it up with the owner....if you order pizza from here, speak slowly and clearly, make sure you are VERY specific. Ask them to repeat back what you said.....and thier thin crust isn't thin, more like hand tossed. On the other hand. The chicken parmesan with alfredo sauce wasn't bad. Ordered 2 pizzas, one was incorrect. They remade and sent a second one with the wrong crust. It was supposed to be a thick crust. That's not what I ordered and paid for. When I sent the driver back with the incorrect replacement, the person who was working (Mac Dog or Big Dog or some nickname) accused me of pranking the store. When I tried to explain to him that I ordered thick crust, and they made me a thin crust, he suggested that I order from somewhere else and gave me the run around on who the manager or owner is. He wouldn't give me a name, and he claimed that he wasn't there. I tried to get Slice to give a refund, they wouldn't. I called back to the store again to try to reason with them. All I wanted was my correct order, and I would have let it go. They refused to make my order correctly and insisted that I take the incorrect remade pizza which was cold by now since it's been 30 minutes after they tried to deliver it. They even tried to redeliver the still wrong and cold pizza. They refused to give me a refund, they said the only thing they will do is give me the cold thin crust pizza, and give me an undisclosed discount on my next order. Pretty bold of them to assume that I want to order from their terrible business again. I'm actually afraid to order from them now because of the way I was treated. Pizza was $5 for a large and after the good reviews we decided to try it. Well we ordered two. Needless to say this pizza is plain basic roller skating rink pizza. Nothing fancy, not New York style just plain plain plain. Almost wanted to ask if the dough is frozen which I am sure it is. If I had read the reviews first, I probably would not have ordered from Pizzano's so I'm pleased I chose it primarily because it's open after 9 pm and it was after that when I placed the order. I ordered veggie pizza with extra cheese. Fellow said it would be 15 minutes and it was ready on time and my wife and I enjoyed it. Lots of cheese and really loaded with what we like. Although I didn't look to closely at the floors and kitchen area, I didn't see any scurrying critters and it looked clean and tidy. Let me start by saying the food is amazing. The pizza is great, but the star is the Pizzano Bread. And the secret to that is adding pepperoni. The best way to describe a Pizzano Bread with Pepperoni is Homer Simpson's drooling noise. Lol. HOWEVER my reason for dropping a star is the horrible delivery service. All three times I have ordered delivery, it has taken an hour and a half to get my food (was promised 30-45 minutes) and the second time they didn't give me the sauce with my order. Was recommended by front desk at the Kenilworth, pizza was on time and pretty good. My husband ordered chicken strips for me...he should have saved the money! They looked more like french fries and were black and burned on all the ends. Put them outside for the resident hotel cats...they declined. Next day.... even the ants didn't want them.
