    My stuffed gyro
    Connie G.

My first time here was over ten years ago. My husband and I came here for a Friday date night. The place was busy! We had a pepperoni pizza which was very good. Business hours have been cut back since the pandemic. Yelp says the place is open 12-3pm on weekdays, but it's actually 12-2pm and in reality 12-1:45pm, so getting service can be problematic. Twice I drove up at 1:45pm with the doors locked. I finally made it while the place was open. I stopped in Thursday (yesterday) at 5:15pm. Again, the place was busy with several customers waiting for their to-go orders. I ordered a gyro to go before my night class in Bisbee and it took me 15 minutes, as the crew worked as a foursome getting orders out. Service was fast and friendly. Gus was behind the counter slapping out those pizzas, with that proverbial stogie in his mouth. He clearly has fans, as several customers yelled out his name as they came into the restaurant. The interior is old and not very attractive, but the food is quite good. I'll be back for a cheese pizza.\

Love this new Greek restaurant in Bixby they had the best pizza ever. And they have lots of sausage on their pizza, which my husband loved. They had salad, which was really good. The price was really good for Bisbee .

Simply put, you get what you pay for here. Good pizza, great prices, and in the spot service. Our pizza and salads were ready when I arrived. Staff was friendly and handed me our food to go. Pizza was great, salads were good, skip the garlic bread next time. We will be back.

Best darn gyros I've ever had, also the best pizza in Bisbee according to my taste buds. Gus is great and a crack up.

The pizza is REALLY GOOD! Wish they would invest a little time in fixing the place up though. Pretty rough looking.

Growing up in a…read moreGreek home with a grandmother who made the best food ever, I find Pappoule's the closest rendition of her memorable meals. We love the gyro and chicken meals. The chicken is marinated and then grilled to perfection. (Never tasted better!) Yum! The dining space has a casual, relaxed, and clean environment, as well as an inviting outdoor space. The staff is friendly and genuinely helpful. We've also ordered food on Saturday to eat as a family meal on Sunday. It is packaged impeccably and is basically a quick reheat that tastes as good as the day before! Gotta try it! You won't be disappointed!

The olives have stems in them now and the flavor is... off. The olive oil and basil are both poor quality for the dressing. It's a difference you can Taste and smell. The Salad... it's just cheep iceberg lettuce with red cabbage and cut carrots you can buy at the store with some sliced red onion added. The Gyro meat doesn't taste the same either. It used to have Good Flavor, but it is bland, almost sweet now. The Spanakopita is dry, gritty and has very little flavor and not much spinich. The Falafel used to have a spice to it, not anymore. The Baklava was gritty and...just not good. This place used to be SO MUCH Better! I miss the way this place used to be. I will not be going back.

He got a side of French fries and I got the Greek fries. Every part of the meal tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear from the first bite that they take pride in what they make. The baklava had the perfect mix of honey, crunch, and sweetness. It is made in house and has a fresh, rich flavor that stands out right away. The dolmades were just as good. I could eat them every day. It is rare to find a place that still makes their appetizers, sauces, desserts, and other items in house, and it really adds to the charm. The gentleman who took our order was warm and friendly, which made the visit even better. I usually go for lamb skewers when I visit Greek restaurants, but this time I wanted to try their gyro. The pita was cooked to perfection. It was soft and had that fresh dough taste that only comes from bread made in house. The meat was juicy and full of flavor. Overall, I was very happy with the entire experience from the service to the food. We ordered to go and did not have to wait long. Prices are average for Greek food in the area, and what you get is friendly service, fresh ingredients, and flavorful food.
